In the Empire State shooting the NYPD wasn't able to use their guns properly and injured seven people. Imagine if they'd have been civilians with no training. -
NYPD is rather poorly trained. Some of the bigger citys spend too much in the classroom on proper use of force. I chatted with a Chicago cop once, and he said after the academy, he found a privately ran weapons and tactics school, and that it was much more practical than the academy. -

Cmon its not a literal interpretation- but Aaron does have a point, the entire "We are all in this together" statement can be taken a few different ways that makes the statement not really an effective party/platform label.
Democrat here, and I even think the party needs some work. Clinton's speech was pretty much the shit though. I seriously don't know how that can be argued. -
Well, it could probably be argued that you are in it together if you live in the same country and want to do something with the country.
I think "we're all in this together" and "we all belong to the government" are very different statements. -

Worth noting recently they have been being much more critical of the left than they have been in the past.
And if we want to be fair, MSNBC choose to run commercials almost every time anyone who was a minority spoke at the RNC. -

Most people have agreed than Clinton's speech was the highlight.
