  1. Just to recicle this useless thread, I erased the two previous posts and used the title to make it the San Sebastian Edge IEM topic.

Nuno Moreira did an excellent job recording this gem. He was besides me at the concert and I have to say that, although I knew he was taping, I didn't think it was going to be THIS good. It sounds incredible!!

This is from Edge's IEM feed, so it lacks a bit (or a lot) of Bono's vocals but I couldn't care less, the band sounds great and Edge really sounds awesome, like he was playing in the middle of your living room or in the back seats of your car. Incredible.

We lined up for this concert in the day of the concert around 8:00 in the morning to be as close as we could. After the gates opened
at 5 in the afternoon, we ran fast to get inside the circle. We ended up right in front of Bono (3 meters away).
This was one of the best concerts that we saw in Europe. The crowd was really into it, and "Spanish Eyes" sounded really great
after the last time it was played ( 9 years ago in Barcelona during the Elevtion Tour) . Through this show other songs sounded really good too, Mercy, MLK, With Or Without You, Moment of Surrender , etc, a truly musical journey as someone said awhile ago

This recording is 99% without drops, it's almost a clean recording and a pleasure to listen to. The instruments
and voice are almost like a soundboard , Edge's guitar is just awesome. You'll really feel "closer" to the band.

We will upload this on Dime as well.

    Enjoy it!!

Ps: Our complete video of Paris will be uploaded very soon on TTD, stay tuned.

    Dedicated to Nicky,

    Nuno and Kim

Eternal thanks to Nuno, meeting you was a pleasure, and knowing you were recording this beauty... Thanks thanks thanks
  2. These are definitely the best Iem's I've ever heard! Nuno and Kim did a great, great job!
  3. Best IEM I ever heard too, ever.

Ok, I haven't been a IEM fan all this years, I was more of an audience-soundboard boy, but... I have more than a few to compare, and this one is awesome.

    Really?
I think it's crap, can't see what all the fuzz is about on this one. But I guess IEM taste is very personal

    Loll

You obviously have NO idea how a IEM should sound like it, the good thing is the majority of the people of this site knows

    Nuno
  6. The best IEM's don't sound like IEM at all. This is one. It's so perfect that it can't be faulted. This is how Edge likes to hear it himself.

That's what I say, it's personal, fans like different types of recording. I'm sure that for an IEM this is amazing, but it's not a recording I personally like to hear, though I can appreciate some other IEM's. I'm just glad taste differs, makes it fun And of course I sincerely appreciate the work and the sharing.

Now it is an amazing recording ?! LOLL
I can tell you , you have a poor judgement of IEM recordings.

I remember when i uploaded another iem recording in here from 2005-09-17 - Toronto, Ontario - Air Canada Centre awhile ago, at that time you were so thrill of having that kind of recording, and that was not even close to this type of recording, it was recorded as mono, and this one was recorded in stereo with a much better equipment. My advice for you is if you want something the "way you like it to hear" go do yourself. No hard feeling of course, that's my personal opinion too.

    You're welcome by the way.

Yeah I liked the mono one much more, my ears don't bother on mono/stereo etc., I like an IEM when I hear Bono very good, I don't care for other sounds actually. So yes, I might have a bad judgement, based on objective arguments

As for me the case is closed.
