I still think that the album is great. It might not be Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby but that is fine.
It's good to have albums with different kinds of music. While one might not want 5 albums like NLOTH, it's great to have at least the one.

I think it would be unfair to expect the guys to create anything at the level of JT or AB. These are truly two of the greatest pieces of music ever created (not that I'm biased or anything) and I am just happy that they can still make decent music (every album this past decade has at least three or four sold tracks) and not lose their respectability. Can't say The Rolling Stones were able to do this - even twenty years ago!

Crazy: album 8/10, remix 9/10 Should of been first single
Get On Your Boots: 3/10 Piss poor,ruined shelflife of album for the average buyer
Stand Up Comedy: 6/10 RHCP meets Led Zepplin
FEZ-Being Born: 9/10 U2 on top form should be tour opener
White as Snow: 6/10 Good but nothing special
Breathe: 9/10 U2 on fire ,best song on album,Bono cant sing it live anymore.
Cedars of Lebanon: 6/10 Again too much eno/lanois stick to the mixing desk,quite, calm end.
Final verdict 7 ,Good but could do better.
NLOTH, MOS, Fez, and COL are amazing still 10/10 for them.

I still kinda like Unknown, Mag, and White as Snow but they aren't as strong as the amazing 10's <3 those songs are staying amongst u2's best for a long time.
