The 360 tour is specially harmful for the turfs since the weight of The Claw (not the central stage) is exerted in just 4 points, and the terrain under those 4 points suffers a lot. Barça's stadium in 2009 had to withstand the enormous weight of the stage for almost 3 weeks... you can imagine how the turf was at the end.

True! Hell, football fans even today blame U2 for bad grass at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.

i've never seen any photos of a stadium without turf for 360 concerts, just wasn't sure whether those were the best photos the poster could find or if that was for the show
Croke Park laid new turf down after the gigs there and it was in bits for weeks. Not many were happy about it, including me
