Fighting brutally with the idea of getting some Death Cab for Cutie tickets on Saturday....they're playing with an orchestra about 3 hours away, I've got some friends I could go with...
It's the hit to the ever-dwindling bank account that worries me slightly. -
3 hours away ain't that close btw

Hey, I'm used to living in Chicago where the biggest and best shows are an hour away tops. Out here in the middle of nowhere, I take what I can get.
Drove 8 hours to see Kings of Leon last year- best weekend of my entire college experience so far.
Gonna go ahead and buy those Death Cab tickets, methinks. -

They're coming to Buffalo on their tour as well. Don't know anything about them really but the tickets are pretty cheap and it's close by. I was thinking about it... -
Also was thinking about Foster the People in Toronto. Unfortunately its fifty bucks and i have no friends who like them. -

They're playing with a live orchestra on stage- I like them well enough to see them live, and this will surely be a once in a lifetime opportunity as far as them touring goes. I'm seeing the Louisville, KY date instead of the Chicago one because it'll be easier to get to and the timing works better.
Go, Brian- you won't regret it. -
aaaaaand another update
~~
2012:
Unheilig // Front of Stage
Bruce Springsteen // Front of Stage
Coldplay // Front of Stage
Snow Patrol // GA
Bryan Adams // GA -
so my standing for this year (so far) comes to:
Noah and the Whale
Foster The People
Coldplay
Bruce Springsteen
Red Hot Chili Peppers -
Death Cab officially on my books. Brings me to...
March 11th: Van Halen (tentative, actually unlikely)
March 16th: The Black Keys/Arctic Monkeys
April 14th: Death Cab for Cutie
April 22nd: Snow Patrol
June 8th: Roger Waters' "The Wall"
June 20th: Foster the People
And I will likely attend at least one day of Lollapalooza.
