It's looking good for an early May release - we'll be emailing everyone who's resubscribed for the coming year as soon as we have final details.
That is one well timed 33rd birthday present for me if it's early May!!!!!
Maybe U2 just know that sites like U2Start have a way better selection than they can ever hope to have so they just don't bother
I doubt that since they supposedly have recordings of every show since ZooTV.
They could do what Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently doing, but also what they are planning to do. RHCP are releasing a soundboard recording of every single one of their shows for their current 'I'm With You Tour'. Apparently they are going to release shows that they've played before this tour in soundboard quality as well, which is a great idea.
If U2 are planning on changing up the set dramatically every night on the next tour, then a bootleg of every concert would be valuable. Although, I just cannot see either thing happening.
I actually like the degree that U2 changes their setlists from night to night and the way the setlist remains the same throughout a tour. I feel that when the setlist changes too much, a tour turns into an amalgamation of songs whereas keeping some sort of structure allows the band to turn the show into a narrative. I think the most radical changes the band would make from night to night would be switching from a ZooTV style encore to a more acoustic encore during the Vertigo Tour.

Agree
Here my multicam videos of the songs already released from u2.com
