Interesting U2 Covers

Hi U2 fans,
My name is Gil, I'm a musician and a big fan of U2 myself.
I've just completed a video of two cover versions of U2 songs I created, in an electronic vibe. I would love some feedback from U2 fans!
I personally believe there aren't enough quality, original covers of U2 songs. Hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
Gil -

Sorry, didn't realize there was a dediated thread. Thanks for the replies!
These are the only U2 covers I've recorded as of now, but I have some original work on my Youtube channel as well.
Cheers

Yes a Slim Phatty and a bunch of other synths. Mostly analog stuff. Thanks

Is the Phatty worth picking up? Been interested in either something similar or sfter seeing it in a video demo, the Microkorg XL. -

Didn't think I'd be getting into a technical synth chat on this forum, ha
Well, apples and oranges really. The Phatty is a monophonic analog synth, meaning you can only play one note at a time (great for bass, leads or weird sound effects) with a very fat tone that cuts through a mix.
Also, very easy to program and create your own sounds on the fly.
The Microkorg is digital and polyphonic, so it can cover a much wider range of sounds, but the basic tone is kind of thin and plasticky, and programming it without using the computer software is pretty much a nightmare.
It really depends on what you're looking for.
Cheers,
Gil
