1. Hmmm never seen this b4, the seller's rating is very high so i doubt they sell fake items.

    Probably nothing, like you've suspected.

    4. Live Under A Blood Red Sky [1983]
    5. The Unforgettable Fire [1984]
    6. Wide Awake In America [1985]
    7. The Joshua Tree [1987]
    8. Rattle And Hum [1988]
    9. Achtung Baby [1991]
    10. Zooropa [1993]
    11. Pop [1997]
    12. The Best Of 1980-1990 [1998]
    13. All That You Can’t Leave Behind [2000]
    14. The Best Of 1990-2000 [2002]
    15. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb [2004]
    16. 18 Singles [2006]
    17. No Line On The Horizon [2009]

To me - and I could be wrong - this looks like one of those box-sets that's coming out where all the albums get packaged up together to save on costs in little LP sleeves - I have the Alanis Morissette one of these types of sets with five albums inside - and this might be the same thing. That's 1995 - 2008.

I thought it was an SHM remastered set but it wouldn't be $114.
  4. Whatever it is, it looks pretty good. Not a lot of information kicking around the Internet though.
  5. Would these be the deluxe editions of Boy/October/War or just the regular ones?
  6. i think the regular ones...
  7. Looks like a very well put together fake to me. U2.com would probably at least give it a mention if it was real. Putting dates that don't really correspond to the releases is one red flag. Not promoting it on their own website is another. 2 red flags is usually enough for me.
  8. 3rd red flag: Putting "Wide Awake In America" in. Really? A true U2 release would have the remasters and bonus discs. The Wide Awake release is useless, and can't imagine modern day U2 Management being this dumb.

I was thinking the same thing until I remembered ZooTV Sydney being put in the overpriced deluxe box. Nor did I ever think the Fast Cars remix would show up on about 163 different releases but that's U2 management (and / or record labels) for you.

But given you can pick most of these up on eBay, Amazon etc for under $4 each, why would you buy these unless you like LP-replica sleeves - or want all the U2 studio albums etc in one little fancy box.
