I dont like both results .... -
the first time I was in Dublin in 2007, the city was crowded with people in jerseys heading for Croke Park. I asked one guy: "which football teams are playing?" -- he looked at me almost insulted, replying: "it's not football, it's hurling !!!" and off he walked, leaving a dumb tourist behind
Hurling, everyone. the most fascinating sport I've ever seen, nothing's faster than this
never gets boring when you watch it

Today's the big day, Americans!!!!

As a Bills fan I'm glad that the Patriots lost, even if it was eerily reminiscent of our loss to the Giants in the 1990... -

I'm a Saints fan, so I wasn't supporting any of the teams. I just wanted to watch a great game and well...It was awesome!

I left Dublin with the bitter feeling of not having been able to attend a match, even a regular city-to-city one... We did the Croke Park tour and saw all the t-shirts of the different Ireland teams on the dressing rooms and all... And we saw lots of videos of finals and epic moments... Well, next time I'm in Dublin for a few days (not counting the April trip) I'll make sure that I attend at least one match

Any Americans watching the Bulls vs. Celtics on TNT?
Really hoping my hometown Bulls pull off a win, but against the Celtics and without Rose in the mix, it doesn't seem likely. -
Any baseball fans out there? (not likely)
Too bad about catching-great Gary Carter (died of cancer). He was one of my idols growing up...before I got into U2. -
I'm a loyal Cubs fan. And yes, I happened to catch that on Sportscenter during dinner. -
Very sad about Gary Carter. It seemed like everyone loved him.
Speaking of the Cubs, I'm actually headed up to Chicago with some friends in a few months, and we already have tickets to Wrigley. I'm not a Cubs fan, but that is one place I have always wanted to see a game.
