    Comments:
This was the show which marked the first live performance of Silver and Gold and the last performance of The Electric Co. (in 17 years..). This was also the first time that Bullet The Blue Sky opened a show. Aside from all the first and last timers this was a great Joshua Tree show. Very energetic, very much fun and an interesting setlist. The audio quality is good for a show from 1987. Enjoy!

  2. Epic if just for featuring the first Silver And Gold and the first Bullet that opened a show. As all 2nd leg Joshuas, the performance is energetic and virtually flawless. I love this leg of this tour
  3. Awesome show.... but why they didn t play Streets ????
  4. Streets wasn't always played on the Joshua Tree Tour. The Paris show didn't start with Streets as did a few others.

  5. I know , but i can t understand why they did that....
  6. because they had balls
  7. That's it. It's been said that Streets only became THE live song only after the Rattle And Hum movie was released and everyone watched it and realized its immense potential live.

    that makes sense
  9. Great gig, think they should have opened with Bullet more often, not sure about going into Running though,I Will Follow is still a better choice for 2nd song.
They sound on very good form, would have to agree that this is a better leg of the tour.
Spanish Eyes is sounding very good as is the first airing of S&G.
All in all a must have gig for U2 fans.
    Enjoy

I think Bullet has been followed by Running To Stand Still in many performances of the song (except the Popmart tour and some Elevation and Vertigo shows), it's almost "natural" to hear them one after the other just like on the album. I agree that Running as the 2nd song of the show ain't a very good choice though.
  11. I was at this show, amazing as an 18 year old. I saw 3 Joshua tree shows and only heard streets once!. there was so much energy in the first 6 songs, fantastic memories. to be honest, the live performances then were much better than now, and without all the techno. just u2, energy and Joshua tree tarpaulins. not even video screens.
