    SOI was a complete surprise - is was suddenly just there and everywhere.

    SOE is taking a slower, more mysterious gradual release, building up anticipation until the pay off. A bit more of a delayed gratification. It's like they learned from experience.

    SOI was extraordinary.

    SOE is being ordinary, the standard for U2.

    They've been having "50-60 songs ready and the album almost almost almost being pressed" since HTDAAB, for God's sake
