    Comments on this show:
This is one of the highlights of the October tour, the tour was nearing it's end here with some great summer festivals. Hattem is one of them, a small town in Holland where U2 only performed once. This show was broadcasted on TV and radio, and also a audience recording is available, lots of ways to get back in time and see our young beloved band in action. The broadcast audio is also available as a torrent.

  2. This is an amazing recording of a much-above-than-average concert. If you don't have it, I truly encouurage you to download it. The energy on this show, both from the band and the audience (Dutch fans are great nowadays, but back in the 80s they were crazy!!!), is outstanding, and the recording makes justice to it.

    Highly recommended.
  3. Oh yes, a very good show. I've had this bootleg ever since radio Veronica broadcasted it on radio and I taped it. Was glad to find it on the web a few years ago, since the tape was completely worn out

And by the way; this is such a coincidence! Today, I asked a colleague at work where he had spent his holiday. He said it was in a little place called Hattem.
To which I replied that my only knowledge about Hattem is that they have / had a venue called 't Heem and that U2 played a very good show there back in 1982.
