    I have waited a whole day after seeing your post and U2 still haven't released SOE, so I think we can rule out Pop as this year's gift.

    Pop will get a 25th anniversary release in 2022. It's unfortunate that it has anniversaries the same time as TJT but I don't think the 35th anniversary of the TJT will get a release to mark it. That will be it though I believe. I just hope if we do get it we have a live cd as part of it and not something similar to the achtung baby boxsets which I just couldn't get excited about even though it's my favourite album. As for the subscribers gift I'm done guessing but I'm remaining hopeful it's live material.

    You have to be kidding. The Kindergarten Achtung Baby is the best thing released by U2 in a long long time!!!!!!!

    Yeah I thought I'd throw in the little line about the subscribers gift at the end to pretend I was staying on topic but clearly not lol. To avoid going way off topic again I can sum up my view by saying I prefer live material to alternate takes/unreleased or whatever.

  11. I know I just think it's the one and only time for it and I'm confident about it for some reason. I can't see them letting the 25th anniversary pass by without some sort of release. Having said that if they were to release a new album that year then maybe not but I wouldn't be surprised if they went Achtung baby tour 2021, Popmart anniversary release 2022, new album with tour 2023. That's my bold prediction.
