1. I was hopping them to ask us to get down on our knees while they play Please instead

  2. Wonder if they base it on the version of Ordinary Love that Edge played in the Sistine chappel. it was slightly faster and with a choir backing him up. I loved that version.
  3. Ordinary Love is fine but this fans thing will just be a cringefest.
  4. I think the setlist will be like this:

    Beautiful Day
    Vertigo
    I Will Follow
    Elevation
    Pride
    One
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
Even Better Than The Real Thing
    Every Breaking Wave
    MLK

Where The Streets Have No Name
I still havent found what I'm looking for
    With Or Without You
    Bullet The Blue Sky
    Running to Stand Still
    Red Hill Mining Town
    In God's Country
    Trip Through Your Wires
    One Tree Hill
    Exit
    Mothers Of The Disappeared

    Bad
    40
  5. I agree with you here, it's one thing I hate in general actually fans singing the songs. Like one on the I&E tour and I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Bono should be singing all the song always.

    strongly disagree.
In Amsterdam 2015 we sang ONE (as a set-closer) in it's entirety (Bono hardly sung any word of it) and it brought me to tears! magical it was!

I thought the slane version was far more emotional than any I've seen when Bono sang it all. Popmart Mexico City actually was up there too. Maybe it's different at the show but I seen them play one the first night in Glasgow on the I&E tour and compared to bad and 40 the next night it wasn't memorable at all.

I guess you had to be there....
  9. Yeah that's fair enough, I've heard bands talk about the crowd singing at festivals and saying how it was a special moment and I get how it's different at the show than on a bootleg. It's just my personal preference but if you like I'm sure others must like it so thats why the band do it.
  10. 1. I Will Follow
    2. Out of Control / Electric Co.
    3. 11 O'clock Tick Tock / Two Hearts Beat as One
    4. October / Drowning Man / TUF / MLK
    5. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    6. New Year's Day / Pride
    ------------------------
    7-17 The Joshua Tree

    18. God Part II / Hawkmoon
    19. AIWIY / Heartland / Van Diemen's Land
    ------------------------
    20. The Fly / UTEOTW / Vertigo
    21. Please / Gone
    22. One / WOWY
    23. Bad
    24. 40

    Dreaming a little

I agree with this. I love One, but the I&E version left me absolutely cold, I thought that it was realy and anti-climax of an excellent show. Still Haven't was better (mainly because Bono sang it) and Bad + 40 was THE right choice to close the show on the highest possible note.
I mean One could have somehow worked if there was one more song after that to bring it all back home, but to take such a great song and make it so low-profile didn't work for me at all. And yes, I was there in person. Of course, that is just how it worked for me, not saying everybody must feel the same.
