    Same with me.

Same here! Except for the very final part I managed to sing along to the entire thing in Santa Clara
  5. Wow, Remy, the pictures are absolutely stunning! I guess it helps a lot when there is the screen in the background, when contrasts are not that huge for the camera when it focuses. Or at least that is my experience - when there is just the band in the spotlight with darkness behind them, the pictures are way more difficult to make, the band is usually overexposed. It surely also depends on the camera... But yea, besides the technology, you have a great eye for pictures, they are really well shot!

Anyway, it looks like you were really close to the main stage this time - at what time did you join the waiting queue?

Thanks! Yes it helps a lot, there is much more light. At the first two shows I took almost all pictures with aperture set at f1.8, at the main stage it was around f4.0 on average. It's still a bit tweaking as it all depends per camera but this one is incredibly good with low light conditions. Plus Lightroom can make any photo better anyway if it fails

Yes second row main stage. The funny thing is that now, concert 3, 75% of all queuers that come in already go to the b-stage. While I agree its the best spot overall in the GA (especially tip of it), it makes it easier for others to get a good main stage spot. Main stage is very distant though and very high too. I queued from 7 in the morning (#250).

I guessed that would happen rather soon in the tour when people realized the T stage was much better.

    Damn
  8. Put me within 10 deep of the b-stage or main stage and I'll be happy. I'm pitch 1 for Dublin so no choice. I'll be taking it easy that day with some good grub and a few pubs. Make my Arrival half an hour or so before Noel. I've ruined a few U2 gigs with excessive queueing.

I lose more enjoyment from the wiring than I gain back from being 6ft closer to the rail.
