Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 22
Audio recordings: 5
  1. The effect of social media and peer pressure. The earlier it keeps starting, the more chance there is of someone wanting to be there a even earlier.
  2. Muppets.
  3. I don't really get the obsession with queuing so early. The earliest I went was about 2pm on the day of the concert to Hampden for the 360 tour and I got in the circle. Any other u2 show I've turned up for gates opening and still got a great spot, i'll be doing the same at twickenham.
  4. I get the obsession with getting a good spot for a few gigs so you can actually see whats going on.

I'm super short and don't see shit even if I'm behind any average length guy , and most of my fellow Dutchies are super tall.
The only option to avoid me moaning about tall people being in the way, is to solve the problem myself and
    queue early.

That's a fair point, I'm 5'10 so pretty average height really I guess if your 5'8 downwards things start getting a little more difficult.

That's why I'll be queuing. I'm vertically challenged too

    5'1

When going to Depeche Mode i was seccond row, looked at backside of a guys Radiohead shirt all night. Lucky me his friend was also a shortie, so i had 70% vision.
  8. Vertically challenged. That's right.
  9. Early queuing lost of the times is an embarassment for the local promoter, security, authorities and residents and more than offen causes medical problems, as concert guests are exhausted and collapse inside the venue. Maybe not so much at U2 shows, but a friend doctor oftens works as medical staff at a concert venue and told me some shocking stories.
