1. Screw North Star, but Boy Falls From The Sky was great in Coimbra! I would love to have it there... The musical version with almost crying instead of singing by Reeve Carney is a bit meh...
  2. Definitely shed some light on what they are thinking.
  3. A part of me still hopes they'll just release it without warning. Not necessarily for free, but just as a curve-ball...keep saying it's not ready and then bam! Would be great to hear more new songs as the tour progresses.

  4. Confirming that Seattle is the show so far.

Also: People weren't taking out their phones, which was amazing. Yeah sure

This was very nice though, I hadn't realized (surely due to the fact that I haven't listened to any 2017 NYD in its enterity yet): I put "oil" in, actually. I said, "So we're told this is the golden age/But oil is the reason for the wars we wage."
  5. What a great interview! The "dare I say, dialectics of innocence & experience"
The observation of the femine spirit in the 60-ies and Renaissance
and that songs like Bad and Streets are considered "unfinished" on the album...

  6. Great interview yes. Next year seeing U2 again I&E Tour? I'm very curious for the new album. I hope they pick up the right 12 songs. So we don't hear this tour any Boy or October song. Maybe only IWF in the encore but I doubt it, the same with ASOH if it's coming to Europe. A bit of a shame.
  7. its just me or everytime one of them talks about Experience they don't really care about releasing it? I don't know, to me they always sound a little off talking about the album, they always keep throwing the ball to the other... don't know
  8. The fecking thing is never gonna be released at this rate

I actually think the opposite in a way i think Bono wants the album released now and edge is genuinly holding it back. I think Bono is probably fed up of saying it's coming soon not knowing how long edge intends to fiddle about with it. In fairness though he probably thought every breaking wave was ready on the 360 tour and that song was transformed to what we got on SOI so sometimes it does take time to make a good song great. I still want the album out this year and I think Bono and Adam definitely want that, hard to tell with Larry and the edge I don't think cares when as long as it meets a certain standard in his mind which is good and annoying at the same time.
