1. Yeah, honestly folks who didn't live as a music lover through the 80's / 90's probably don't realise just how lucky they are with the interwebs and YT etc.

Mind you, it's not like nobody taped off the radio or copied their mates cassettes / cd's / vinyls back then, anyone who says they didn't to some degree probably isn't being 100% honest, but I can tell you back in the 80's / 90's many of us racked up a huge amount of spending on legit music that nowadays you can just dialup on YT or wherever and whenever you feel like it, and not even have to pay a penny.

Yeah, it's making it hard for bands nowadays, including U2
  3. Barring any major tragedy, I think they'll start working on at least one more album after SOE even if we won't see it for five years. After 40+ years, I would think it's been hardwired into their DNA to make music.

Same here, ATYCLB has always been in my top 4 i guess that's my nostalgia album really but SOI seems to be proving to provide strong competition these days, I find less and less faults with it and more to like about it all the time. There's really not many post 2000 u2 songs I don't like.
  5. Songs of ascent 2021
  6. My vote is:

-Yes, all the signs point to it (although I hope not)
