favorite tour: Unforgettable Fire Tour
"I missed out seeing them on the War Tour, because they played a small venue in my hometown that sold out in about two minutes. The Unforgettable Fire Tour was my first U2 show, and I've only missed one tour since."
favorite show: 1985-03-25 - Richfield
"My first one! And, my tickets were in the top row behind the stage, but I was in the second row on Adam's side of the stage by the end. "
favorite album: War
"War and the Red Rocks videos drew me in. I liked the political /humanist element, and there was no one else that sounded like them (that I was aware of at the time). They became the only band that mattered to me for several years. To this day, I am still finding music I missed from that time!"
favorite song: Drowning Man
"The political /humanist stuff drew me in, but this is a stand-out track, for many reasons. It's really not their thing, but sometimes I wish they would have done more that incorporated traditional Irish ideas and instrumentation, like they did on this one."
