Performance:
2 3 4 and lets go for a breathless ride. Since the first notes, the first shout of Gloria the boys give it all to you .. impressive load of energy since the start of the concert .. no time for rescue a bit that Larry threw a brick through a window .. of course the rhythm goes down a bit but not the intensity .. Larry and Adam incessant in covering Edge phrasings.
Again no time to breathe A Day Without Me is launched to the faces .. nice Bono strumming while doing what he does best .. and he does he does .. wonderful little insert of Dear Prudence.
Just the time for Bono to say they're not the usual British fashion band they're Irish and come to stay for long time .. maybe forever .. oh Bono how right you was, and the sinous black cat comes out in the form of the singer accompanied by the other all very well doing their duty. As usual An Cat Dubh leads to the sweet Into the Heart where we love to stay a while
Thank you and the unmistakable pressing bass announce New Years Day .. wonderful lines by Edge on the powerful carpet laid by the rhytmic section .. awesome interpretation .. they play “U2 music” and the crowd can’t do anything else but Surrender to them at this point.
Great Bono in keeping on drawing people along every time he can .. impressive considering what he’s doing on vocals since time 0 of the show .. considerable Edge backing him.
Two Hearts Beat As One on Larry's beat .. Bono can't stop to dance and the crowd too i take it for sure … how they can't .. the song flows engaging towards one of the funniest snippet with Bono joking with not knowing the words of Let's Twist Again.
Things become serious now for Sunday Bloody Sunday .. flawless one with all the feelings that it carries along .. emozional .. well it's Sunday .. nothing less.
The cry to a very pulled and extended The Electric Co. With the band doing somersaults to permit Bono to climb the stage structure carrying the white flag with him .. from up there the snippets … awesome!!!
That took a sure wash head by McGuinnes i guess before sending the boys for the encore.
They still have it all for a rocking rousing I Will Follow .. nobody want to walk away everybody to follow.
Usual instruments Exchange for the closer '40' leading people to the end .. with an almost without breath snippet of Give Peace a Chance.

Audience:
Being a soundboard there's not much to say about .. barely listenable .. not crowd fault though

Sound quality:
Great soundboard even for the period; all instruments perfectly clear; maybe guitar sometimes a bit distant but it's irrelevant

Overall:
An impressive breathless ride. The boys didn’t have too much time and they didn't waste a second. They put more than what they had (and we know how much it is) in this short festival set. Great set great perfomance great energy great mood .. everything great .. U2 at the top!

Performance:
Usual ground control-Major Tom communications announce quite surprisingly the return of the stingray guitar, fisrt and only time in this last run of the tour, perfectly in line with the aweful habit of squeezing a song till nausea and then trash it; glad it’s back for once time. No surprise in Bono arousing the crowd for the “real” start of the show and Beautiful Day. Solid one that warms up, not that it was needed, the Argentinians. To follow I Will Follow, no imperfection pulls the riff as it must be done at a rock concert; dear old way of rocking. The difference with the too long recent way is blatant putting Get On Your Boots right next .. I don’t mean in style.
What is the new opener is moved to this point; I obviously love when they make this kind of variations (you have to “settle” with them), still it works far better as first song. They better played the real one here.
The halved Mysterious Ways runs and is closed quickly, defect of all tour not of this particular that is quite average.
Some issues in the crowd (I guess) and some issues with Edge stuff define Elevation.
Hasty start of Until.. Edge you must always pull that riff as it should .. always.. quite bad solo as well; not the best moment of the concert for our man from the future. I know I’m usually hypercritical on this song being one of my favourites but this left me quite disappointed. Apparently unwilling Larry at the end.
Quite great audience for the first verses of I Still Haven’t Found that is carried quite tiredly. I have nothing to say about the next song but awesome involvement of the people. The crowd is still in the spotlights for Pride till the first unique notes of Bad… always the gem of the show when it appears. Nice Bono on guitar to not let it end too early despite the lack of snippets.
In a little while, Miss Sarajevo fall in the above speech of songs squeezed till nausea; a bit clumsy the first one. Bit better Miss Sarajevo with Bono “distracted” before the opera part.
City of Blinding Lights .. honest one with the brilliant part put into the intro with those hints.
Now due time to let people jump with Vertigo and Crazy .. there can be thousands of other ways but, as they say, it’s involving so carry on .. in line with the other hundreds.
Sunday saw some blasphemous times during this tour, luckily not this time .. relatively quite good, not thining of the past .. I miss the “no more” and the reprise part though.
The nice lttle Scarlet to intro Walk On; no particular mistakes by Edge and solid version so it can be considered as a highlight of the concert.
Usual sequence One-Streets to open the encores with the insertion of ahint of Mothers this time that always has its sense at these latitudes .. why not playing the all of it?
Streets is Streets, speak by itself
2nd encore flow with the usual structure of the 1 night stand, but this is the 3rd night … Hold Me not bad not excellent … With or Without You mostly raised up by the audience .. Moment of Surrender well interpreted by Bono enough in it.

Audience:
Very good in some part a bit below expectations, being a latin american crowd, in some others but it could be cause of the recording

Sound quality:
Good audience source, getting better, instruments distinguishable and clear, crowd a bit too distant at some point

Overall:
For being a third night at the same venue, it lets you with the sensation that something more could have been done in terms of setlist and performance. No particular mistakes or low points but neither any excellent .. pretty average. Maybe the expectations drop half point in rating

Performance:
And here we are after a long day for the band, mainly Bono due to G8 summit and Black Block riot, and for the fans in long waiting (it was not a stroll at all), the notes of the Inlux remix spread over PA followed by the real Elevation in classic opening way of the tour. People soon show the band they’re gonna help to have a blasting night. Hard work for Bono vocals cord in line with the period but he doesn’t sign he will hold himself at all. Solid carpet of sound by the band behind.
Obvious following with Beautiful Day where Bono starts to modulate his singing a little bit better; not a perfect Edge with some esitations and some feedback issues in the mic that bother Bono towards the end. Pretty good one though to warm up more the already high temperature.
Judas calling Jesus moment, one of my favourite and uncontrolled in every concert. Love the Bono singing as a rhythmic speech and the drums-bass lines, mainly Adam’s work is very good. Again not an aggressive Edge in the solo and in the final “duel” as well.
Adam launches his unmistakable riff introducing the explosion of New Year’s Day, great people going with Edge piano. Suffering Bono all over, and it cannot be different for this song; well supported by Edge and the incredible (his word) crowd.
Time to slow down a bit and Kite falls perfectly. Throat status really helps to pull out an intense and moving one; very well done by all the four. Like it’s used to say goosebumps all over.
The hype don’t come down with Gone and Edge is “on fire” in his amazing work on guitar, pedals and backing Bono. Larry and Adam gives him their usual solid support to his evolutions.
Passage from Pop to the new album and it can not be other than New York, the highest peak on the album in creativity for sure. It’s no less than a real highlight of the concert. Great in every single component.
Bono just makes a call and people don’t let to be asked twice in following I Will Follow (bad word joke I know). Nice ride through the song by the band in unison with the stadium.
You can go wrong with what comes next .. Bono needs to release all his frustration his anger of the day and what better than Sunday Bloody Sunday?! Fire in his soul tiger in his eyes. Simply at the top with the tops of the Sunday versions .. pure adrenaline .. and moreover once again Italians don’t betray.
Beatles In My LIfe introduces the romantic dedication of Stuck In A Moment. It doesn’t happen often I spend positive words about this song, this is an exception, nice one with a very nice sing along.
Crowd prompt the band with his amazing loud chant and jesus that deserved better than In A Little While .. kidding a bit .. anyhow it goes in the same line as the previous Stuck.
Acoustic set started by Desire with the band intro during the first riffs. Loveable Larryin the progression of the song. Gloria snippets gives it a plus for sure.
Larry and Adam leaves to let Bono and Edge Stay. Easy for this song, and with this audience, makes the moment a very sweet and beautiful one .. and this is it.
While the Stay chant keeps going, things become serious when the base of Bad starts. A long strained immense release of emotions by everyone in the building. No flaw and the voice increases the sense of relief of soul. No word can explain all this.
40 makes as bridge to Streets the big shaking of the stadium from the foundation. Hard job for Bono to keep it going but once again the thousands of voices support him till the end.
Mysterious Ways – The Fly to close the main set. Spotlights on Adam groove and Edge solo and end of the first one (too bad he disbanded it lately). Even more spotlights on Edge for The Elevation Fly fantastic in all the parts, riff, feedbacking, solo .. whatever.
Encore seems to flow in an “usual” way starting with a classic powerful Bullet to the Classic U2 ballad; With Or Without You adorned by Shine Like Stars snippet, obvious the response of the public.
One comes after a short break showing the peak of the communion of souls of this night. It could be quite ordinary at a cold listening but it’s not. Wake Up Dead Man is awesome in its moving interpretation; Bono takes his heart and spreads it out.
Walk On and Hallelujah singing should close this amazing magic night but … Bono definitely don’t want to leave .. one more and an extra Pride is thrown. Pretty funny mess up Edge’s effects accompany an exhausted but not giving-up Bono .. no problem all the people carry the cross. Absolutely well deserved double lap around the circle and … another incredible surprise. Edge and a possessed Bono muster the other almost endressed part of the band .. because “we can’t go home”. Back to roots for this other extra, Out Of Control goes better than the previous Pride but nobody cares of this stuff at this point…
Bono’s throat, some Edge’s blunders don’t affect much the rendition of the concert; the public has its credit in that though

Audience:
Just 3 words .. huge .. awesome .. amazing

Sound quality:
It would be almost perfect if not for the bass too in foreground and the crowd lightly hearable for what it actually was

Overall:
Maybe I’m too biased about this night. Some issues don’t ruin at all what was a perfect special magic night, with a band composed by 4 guys on the stage and tens of thousands around it all in an unique Heart, Soul, Love (and not money). Indelible night till death. Always grateful I was part of it.
It should be A Must for every U2 fan and not.
