Performance:
OK, Bono's voice isn't on top, top form, but the energy and emotion from the whole band is incredible. And Bono's voice adds to the performance of certain songs - Kite, Gone, WUDM all benefit from a gravelly quality.
The set is brilliant, including the two "extra" songs. Pride isn't too bad considering I really dislike the song and they messed up at the end (I hate to say this but it sounds like Larry's fault!!!
Bad brought a tear to my eye, it really is a superb rendition.
Audience:
Singing along and making themselves heard!
Sound quality:
Yes, not the best in the world, but I've certainly listened to worse!

Performance:
Superb performance from all of the band. Almost faultless. Great set list too.
Audience:
Can't hear them too well but you can tell they are good with the interaction Bono has with them.
Sound quality:
For the age, it is amzing sound quality. Loses 0.5 stars because of a few skips here and there.
Overall:
This boot is a must for any fan. For those who love the early stuff it is a great example of a wonderful boot, and for those who don't listen too much to early stuff, this should soon change your mind!!
Highlights:
-Tomorrow (my favourite version ever).
-Gloria
-I Will Follow
-Out Of Control

Performance:
Really enjoyed the show. The band are just finding their feet in the tour and the set is a good mix of new and old, including some Pop, which is a highlight.
Audience:
Decent crowd. Go mad when Bono talks about Red Rocks.
Sound quality:
Odd at the beginning. I couldn't figure out whether it was audience or IEM.
Far too low on bass.

Performance:
Doesn't get better in my opinion.
I've had 1987-04-29 (Rosemont / Rock's Hottest Ticket) for some years now and it's always been a favourite that I've considered the best JT show. However, this steps up to the mark and just pips it.
Streets is perfect. BTBS powerful. RTSS soft, subtle and heart wrenching. ASOH just fabulous. WOWY superb.
The snippets are great, the band were on top form and I don't think Bono's voice has ever sounded better.
Audience:
Loud when they needed to be, quiet when they needed to be.
Sound quality:
Not the best quality ever, but I didn't really notice it was that good a show.
Overall:
If anyone were to ever ask what should be the first show to listen to, this is it.
Highlights:
-ASOH
-Streets
-RTSS
oh hell - the whole show is a highlight!

Performance:
Well, Zoo TV had to go off air somewhere...
To be honest, the opening of the show (Zoo Station to NYD) was pretty standard stuf. Almost sounding tired, like a band going through the motions on the last night.
However, the show really picks up when the new songs come in.
Stay is lovely. A soft, full-band rendition. Dirty Day is excellent. Daddy's awesome. Lemon superb.
Audience:
Quiet. A pitty.
Sound quality:
Bass heavy. Balance between right and left speakers isn't great at times.
Overall:
Get it because it's the last night of the most groundbreaking tour of rock and roll history, but there are better ZooTV's out there.
Highlights:
New songs,
MacPhisto (he is funny)
Lowlights,

Performance:
A very energetic clean performance from U2 in Chicago. The set is a strong UF standard set with some lovely little snippets and chat from Bono.
11 O'Clock Tick Tock for me is a great opener to a gig. It's a slow start but the end of the song really starts to pump up the energy, which leads really well into IWF. Seconds is good too.
I love the way that U2 used to play MLK this early in a set. It really is unusual and I think it suits them as a band. Maybe they should try it again(?). UF is excellent and Wire is superb, especially Bono's acapella at the end. I think I've heard SBS too many times to get excited about it nowadays, but Electric Co is excellent, especially with the extended middle 8.
Now we get to the section of the show I was really interested in! ASOH is really, really, very good. It's close to Wide Awake In America standards. And a 10 minute version of Bad is nothing but excellent at any point. I have always loved the Bad>October>NYD sequence, and this is really superb here.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pride could be dropped from a great height for me. But the encore is brilliant. KOHD is one of the best covers that U2 have ever done and this version is good. Gloria is energietic and "40" brings the show to a wonderful close.
One of the best UF shows I've heard.
Audience:
They were singing along and cheering and seemed to be enjoying the show.
Sound quality:
The sound is very good considering the age of the boot, but it loses a star because there is quite a bit of editing and also some 'skipping', especially in the middle of SBS.
Overall:
As a boot, it loses half a star for the sound, but if you want a UF show, go for this one. It is really really good.
Highlights:
-Bad>October>NYD
-ASOH
-Electric Co.
-Wire
-Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Performance:
It's such a shame it took so long for the Vertigo Tour to really be very, very good. But these shows in the last leg, and especially the ones in Tokyo are superb.
I've never really thought COBL was a good opener, but it seemed to have a bit more energy here and really got the show off to a good start. Love the Japanese counting in Vertigo and Elevation is superb. Blackbird is possibly my favourite 'BD' snippet, so obviously loved it here.
Despite AOH previously being billed as a 'party' song, I think it doesn't quite fit here. And one reason I dislike Vertigo as a tour is too much Bono-blabber. So it's a shame The First Time has it at the beginning. However, SYCMIOYO is, as usual, an emotional rendition and kind of brings the set list back to where it should be.
OTH is SUPERB!! It really is a treat. I can only think of the Point Depot version as being better. I do like the SBS>Bullet segue with Larry's drums, and although Miss Sarajevo is an excellent song, especially to follow Bullet, I have heard better versions.
I'd like to drop Pride from a great height. Full stop.
Streets is good, but again, too much Bono-blabber at the start, would much prefer Psalm 116. And The intro to One seems just a little too long, or am I being picky?
The Fly and MW are good and there is a surprsing and welcome snippet of Shine Like Stars in WOWY, but it is the last three songs that really are a surprise on the setlist.
WITS is brilliant. I know Desire was used as an encore opener during ZooTV but I don't thiknit's ever been played this late in the set as an acoustic version. It really is a good version. And I never, ever, thought AIWIY would work as a closer, but it's great.
Overall, a bit of a mix, but I've given 4.5 stars because I really think the band were in good form so despite the 'lowlights' of the set, it's still a boot you should download and listen to.
Audience:
Well up for it!!!!
Sound quality:
Excellent sound. Can it get better than this?
Overall:
Highlights:
-Good opening 6 songs
-One Tree Hill
-Shine Like Stars snippet
-Last three songs

Performance:
I’m a sucker for an “atmospheric” entrance (MLK or The Ocean as openers are fabulous IMHO), and Hawkmoon delivers. Superb performance of an underrated song. And the Desire/All Along duo is perfect to follow up and really get the party started. A proper heartfelt rendition of AIWIY leads into a song that really, really, really should make a comeback SOON. God Part II. Superb. BTBS is awesome and the speech at the end of RTSS really has meaning in the space and time. Now, another song that needs a comeback – Loosen my lips! It must be Gloria! IWF and ISHFWILF are standard performances, but Knocking On Heaven’s Door is immense. Bono’s improvisation on the lyrics just brilliant. Then…Bad! Really good performance. VDL is lovely. And in NYD we get a rare run out of the “maybe the time is right” lines. Pride is a decent finish to a very good main set. The Lovetown encore was great and Angel/Lovetown doesn’t disappoint. LRM is superb towards the end of a set and then the regular “40” to finish off a mega night.
All in all, a great performance. Bono’s voice is at it’s height of power on Lovetown and the whole band seem to be having a party.
Audience:
So up for the show! No doubt spurred on by the wait for the bomb scare!
Sound quality:
A decent recording, but not up to scratch with other Lovetown shows from Point Depot. But then again, it is an audience recording. Can't complain at all really.

- God Part II
- RTSS
- Knockin on Heaven's Door
- Love Rescue Me

Performance:
A superb ZooTV performance with emotion. Interesting change in set to include some Zooropa songs and to have ISHFWILF, TTTYAATW and WOWY dropped! The guest violinist on Bad was amaze-balls and Bullet was one of the best versions I've ever heard. An early and rare version of Zooropa is excellent and Babyface is good being cranked up to be a bit more 'rocky'. If you crank the bass up whilst listening you get a great kick from Larry's drums, especially on Zoo Station.
Audience:
Massively involved and a really interesting set of confessionals!!!
Sound quality:
As close to perfect as you're going to get. Great balance between vocal, guitar, drums and and bass and the audience not too loud.
Overall:
A superb boot. A must have in anyones collection.

Performance:
"This festival starts now OK?" Absolutely right there B-man! Energy, urgency, vibrancy are all words that come to mind when thinking of this performance. The whole band are on form and it really comes through in the performance. Some of Bono's interactions with the crowd are fabulous, especially before I Fall Down, "I used to push myself to do things I wasn't good at, that's why I'm in a rock 'n' roll band" a hilarious insight into the insecurities within.
In terms of setlist, it's brilliant. All about the segues! ITABTAW-ADWM, ACD-ITH, and more surprisingly 11O'C-The Ocean, a superb segue and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see that again!
Audience:
Festivals are never going to be the greatest places to get a good crowd, there will always be someone who is not interested and goes off swimming! However, from what you can hear the audience get more and more into the show as it goes on, which is evident in the amount of encores.
Sound quality:
I always compare to the most up-to-date type of recording, which is always going to be superior. Consider that this is 30 years old, has 'stretching' from the audio cassette and skips some little bits of songs, and actually 3 stars is a damn good score!
Overall:
Positives:
-Energy!!!
-Setlist segues
-A Celebration
-Encores and encores!
Negatives:
-People swimming?
-Stretching and skipping in audio.

Superb. So much energy. So much soul. Such a great great performace.
Obviously in Dublin the band raise their game, but knowing what we know now (the band weren't going through the best of times) this was obviously a release of anger/frustration and it just added so much it's brilliant.
Audience:

Performance:
The band happy to be on the road again!
First night of Elevation, first time some songs have been aired, and things go swimmingly! Good performance, although Bono's voice hasn't warmed up yet!
Audience:
Couldn't really hear them very well. May have been the recording though.
Sound quality:
Considering it said 5 Stars on the link I was really surprised with this one. It sounds much more like an IEM than an audience recording. The balance between voice/instruments and between band/audience isn't quite right. And it's very annoying that each song fades in and fades out.
Overall:
I love the Elevation Tour, and this is a good show.
Highlights:
-The run from Sweetest Thing to Ground Beneath is a lovely section of the show. Especially good version of In A Little While.
-Bad - great performance.
-The Fly, yes there were a couple of mistakes, but I still think it sounds fresh and great.
Lowlights
-Annoying fade in/fade out of each song.

Performance:
A good PopMart performance. Obviously on the third leg of the tour the setlist was pretty much set in stone and the show ran without any hitches. Is that Edge speaking to the crowd before LNOE? I think so!
Audience:
From what you could hear, a decent audience.
Sound quality:
I'm knocking half a star off because the audience can't be heard enough in my opinion. However, the sound is very, very, very good.
Overall:
Like I said at the top, a good PopMart performance.
Highlights:
-MoFo
-Discotheque
-HMTMKMKM - one of the best versions I've heard.

Energetic! Despite the change in the setlist, which can sometimes throw the band off their game, the performance was very good.
Audience:
Fantastic! Bono seems to be having fun with them, especially during the snippet in Bad. They are very vocal, and clapping along with every song.
Sound quality:
Not fab, but certainly not the worst I've ever heard. The sound level changes at times and I think the audience are a little too loud on the recording, especially the clapping, but it's definately listenable.

Highlights:

Audience:
I was in the Millenium Stadium for the 360 show and was wowed by the crows. My mate was at Cardiff Arms Park in ZooTV and he said the crows were amazing. This crowd is no different. Superb throughout.
Sound quality:
I have never liked IEM's and this one is particularly annoying - sometimes the bass is too high, sometimes you can't hear it, the sound 'farts' a bit, the crows is far too low. The only plus is that when it is clear, it's very clear!

Good performance, especially as it is towards the end of a tour. I think the band were being carried on a wave from Glastonbury. Adam seems to be having a particularly good night.
There is a great snippet (almost full song) of The Wanderer, and getting someone up on stage for All I Want Is You is also good.
Standouts for me are Even Better, Zooropa and Hold Me, Thrill Me, just superb.
Audience:
Getting involved and enjoying it.
Sound quality:
For an audience recording I really think this is brilliant. Very clear, almost soundboard like quality. Congratulations to the taper!

Performance:
Raw rock and soul! Such energy coming from the band, reciprocated by the audience, coupled with a really good setlist make this a magnificent performance.
The band seem to extend quite a few "outros" of songs, especially BD, The Fly and a wonderful outro to Gone. The snippets are brilliant and in some cases very unusual, especially in Desire. Bono's interaction with the audience is great.
The setlist really has a great flow to it. Plenty of upbeat rock to start with, a lovely coupling of Stuck and Kite, Gone through to SBS is great hard rock and a brilliant acoustic set. I love BD as a closer to the main set and a special mention should go to BTBS, especialy the Mark Chapman rap which has so much hurt in it!
So, you're wondering why they lost 0.5 star? I've got to admit, there are some mistakes in there, especially in tuning from the Edge (see outro to EBTTRT!). However, I love the way the band sail through the mistakes.
Audience:
Fabulous in every respect. Great interaction with the band, especially Bono. Great audience.

Performance:
In the intro you can hear a guy in the audience say "this is going to be good", and he's right!!! Very good performance. Loved the opening with "The Ocean" and 11 O'Clock being so early in the set. Bono was really interacting with the crowd very well and it was the first time they were trying some songs out. Very early version of "I Fall Down", with the lyrics not quite set in stone yet! Nice snippet of "Daydream Believer" in Boy/Girl, way before Popmart and the Edge Kareoke was a twinkle in U2's eye!
Audience:
Really good, sounds like they are thoroughly enjoying the show.
Sound quality:
Not amazing, but it's from 1981, so what do you expect!

Definately one to download if you want to listen to an early show.

Performance:
This sounded like a very tired performance from everyone. Bono seemed to shout quite alot instead of sing, and his voice seemed to be very poor. After a fairly strong start the setlist seemed to be disjointed from ISHFWILF onwards until the ZS - MW. Streets lacked power and there seemed to be timing mistakes in Elevation and The First Time. The only saviour of the set for me was Mothers, a lovely version with a ukelele I believe! However, overall disappointing.
Audience:
Absolutely amazing. From the Spanish counting in Vertigo to the "Oh Oh Oh Oh's" at the end of Pride they really carried the band through this one. Possibly the best audience I've heard on a bootleg.
Sound quality:
In terms of sound quality, this boot can not be beaten.
However, it's one of the most annoying boots to listen to! The Argentinian voice-over inbetween every song really did my head in! Especially when he talks over the music intro or Bono. Also, the editing between songs annoyed me.
Overall:
Really, I'd only recommend this for Mothers and the sound quality. Everything else can be found in a better performance on a different boot.

Performance:
The end of the tour and it realy shows. Bono's voice is extremely strained and the whole performance is under-par. However, I do think the strained voice lends itself to a couple of songs quite well. I do like Staring At The Sun and Discotheque and I think it's a decent performance of Last Night On Earth. The Seemingly Edge and Bono only version of "40" is outstanding. I've never heard them play it like that before and I think it's lovely.
Audience:
Obviously up for a U2 gig, as any audience would be.
Sound quality:
I listened to 2 different recordings of this boot, the FLAC that was originally on the show page and the mp3 recording placed on the BRT thread. I had problems with both, even though both were soundboard recordings. During the FLAC one I found there was a bit of skipping during UTEOTW and ISHFWILF and with the mp3 recording, I felt the quality came and went and wasn't consistent enough. Therefore I've given less than a 5 star.
Overall:
Not a boot I would recommend to anyone looking for a really good Popmart performance, but downloadable for the performance of "40" none the less.
Highlights: Discotheque, Last Night On Earth, Staring At The Sun and "40".
Lowlights: Bono's strained voice and tired performance.

Performance:
Absolutely fabulous!
A set driven by Larry's drums, the energy from the band is clear right from the off. Bono screams "GLORIA" and the tone for the performance is set.
Great opening 3 songs, dropping in NYD as the first track from War then on to the uplifting OOC and it's difficult to catch your breath. SBS as Bono claims "Is NOT a rebel song", but it is a song with soul.
The only place where the set slightly (but only very slightly) loses it's momentum is when Tomorrow follows October, however, the second half of Tomorrow is good enough to pick it up again.
Superb performance.
Audience:
They were excellent. You could tel these were big fans of War from the singing along with most of the songs. Very rowdy, and in a good way!
Sound quality:
For its age, this boot has pretty good sound, but I'm giving it a 3 star comparing it to more recent, high quality boots.
However, don't let the 3 stars put you off downloading!
Overall:
A real gem for me. Loved the set list, especially the inclusion of Like A Song for the only time it has ever been played. You could tell the band were up for the gig and really excited about their new songs they could bring out.
Highlights:
-The opening 3 tracks - Larry's drumming is magnificent!
-Like A Song, the only time it was ever played - but why? Should have been played more.
Lowlights
-I feel very harsh, but the only lowlight is the sound, but as I said, please don't let this put you off, this is a great boot!

Performance:
Good performance, especially in the middle of the set (Sunday Bloody Sunday through to Help) where they seemed to lift their game. However, there are better JT shows out there.
Audience:
Although the audience weren't a major part of the sound in the boot I thought they seemed to be enjoying the show.
Sound quality:
For me, quite a poor sound quality. Not sure if I was listening to a matrix version, but the sound seemed to change drastically in between a few songs. Also, I had to seriously adjust the EQ on my stereo to stop the complete BOOM BOOM from the bass!
Overall:
I enjoyed it, especially the change in the set in places, but the poor sound drags this boot down.
Highlights - SBS, I thought it was a great JT version. Help - I love what they did to Help on the JT tour, and this was a particularly good version. Also, a great encore!

Performance:
A standard ZooTV set with a nice few little surprises. All of the band get to sing a little bit at some point. Larry has a rendition of Wild Rover, Adam "sings" a little bit of WLCTT and Edge has a verse of Stand By Me. I suppose there must be a show where this has happened before, but I've never heard it.
Bono seems to be on good form, especially after UTEOTW, where he comes a bit more to life. Edge has a standard night, with a really good outro to UTEOTW, this is probably what promted Bono to pick up his game! That's one thing I love about this band - the way they bounce off each other to produce better performances.
Audience:
They are definately up for it, although they were a bit poor during the "clap clap clap" in Wild Rover, think they could have helped Larry out a bit more there!
Sound quality:
The sound is good, but there are a few little niggly things that could be better. The sound seems to get much better for The Fly, and then there is far too much crowd noise during the acoustic set - one woman screaming so much it ruins the end of Lovetown and beginning o Bad.
Overall:
A standard ZooTV show without being really amazing.
Fabulous NYD, real energy to that.
Only low-light would be the noise in the acoustic set.

Performance:
This was my second ever U2 show (I saw them the night before) and so I will always look back with rose-tinted glasses. However, listening to the boot I am just dissappointed. Bono's voice is so poor. Off-key at times and weak for the most part. It's a shame, because the rest of the band seem to have a decent night, although Edge makes a couple of mistakes.
Audience:
Desperate to see the band 4 years after their last Wembley appearance, the audience were well up for this. On the IEM recording you can't hear the audience very well though.
Sound quality:
I'm rating the IEM recording here.
IEM's are usually considered to be top recordings, though this one suffers from a 'ticking' sounds throughout Discotheque and into IYWTVD/WOWY. Also, towards the end of the boot there seems to be alot of distrtion on the sound. Lastly, the audience can't be heard very well, making this not one for the overall 'feel' of the gig.
Overall:
I love Pop as an album and do wish they would bring some songs back, especially Gone, LNON and Miami, so they would be highlights for me.
As for lowlights - why oh why oh why did they ever think wasting 3 minutes on kareoke was ever a good idea? Edge didn't really seem to want to sing and it kind of puts the brakes on the whole show.

Performance:
Pretty good. Last show of the European leg and they go out on a bang, with obviously looking forward to going home, Bono even mentions it later on "Well we're going home now".
Audience:
Audience are great, reallt engaging in the songs.
Sound quality:
For it's age the sound is very, very good. However, I've given just 3.5 stars because it's obviously a digital remaster from an audio tape (as I know almost all of the older tours will be), and there is some 'stretching' effect, especially at the start of Rejoice.
Overall:
If you're looking for a good show from an early tour try it out, you won't be dissappointed.
Highlight for me is an extended 11 O'Clock Tick Tock. A really good performance of that song.

Performance:
If there's a better show in the first two legs of Zoo TV, I've not heard it! In fact, this has got to be in the top 3 of the whole Zoo TV / Zooropa tour.
Bono is on top top form, and the rest of the band seem to follow his lead. Edge has a great night. Does Larry hiot the drums harder on Zoo Station thatn anywhere else? Probably.
Audience:
Just great. Apparently the smallest crowd of the whole tour (I read somewhere there attendance was around 6000 because that was the capacity of the arena). However, they make themselves heard!!
Sound quality:
I've downloaded and listened to both audio recordings, and there's no way the first one is 4 stars! I'd give it 2.5 at the most.
The second recording, that is missing When Love Comes To Town, is a good recording, although Zoo Station 'skips' at the beginning of the first verse, which is annoying.
Overall:
A magnificent gig that should be in any fans collection. I gave it 4.5 stars because of the skipping at vthe beggining of Zoo Station and the missing of When Love Comes To Town.
UTEOTW is AMAZING!!!!! "Turn up the FUCKING guitar Joe, Come on Joe!!!". EBTTRT is great. In fact, there isn't a weak song on there. Extended LIB also.
Just a great, great gig

Performance:
"I don't care if you paid the front row or the back row, we're all the same in here, including the band" - Bono
Fabulous. They played like a band who knew they'd gone as far as they could with a project, were possibly on the verge of reaaly pushing it too far, and they still didn't care, giving it their all and putting on a great show.
Bono's voice is strong, Edge is his usual great self and Larry seems to have a wonderful night too! Adam for me always shines a little more when he has chance to - for example in Gloria and "40", where his bass line/solo are the crux of the song.
Audience:
Obviuosly they were a little more rowdy than can be heard on the bootleg with what Bono is saying, and I feel the band always play better when there's a good crowd, so my rating usually is the roughly same for performance and audience.
Sound quality:
Great sound, especially considering it's 20 years ago. No complaints from me.
Overall:
I like Lovetown because it throws up some real surprise sets and this tops the lot. Opening by playing over a recorded Stand By Me, with Edge singing a whole verse to himself, followed by Pride and New Years Day was a shock! I personally enjoy some proper rock towards the end of a concert and so was delighted to hear All Long The Watchtower so late on
The major highlight for me is the run from MLK - One Tree Hill - Streets - Gloria - Help - Bad. All wonderful songs on there own, but the way they were put together here is a prime example of how U2 can really pound your senses and emotions in a live show. The segues between One Tree Hill - Streets - Gloria make you wonder why they haven't continued to play those three songs as a staple of every show.
The other highlight was Slow Dancing. A very pretty song, played tenderly.
Disappointments for me begin and end with Pride. It's not one of my favourites to start with but when they put their absolute heart and soul into it I feel it just lifts the song to another level. With Pride being almost first up I thought this would be the case, but it's as if it's used just as a warm-up and they only really get going when New Years Day kicks in. Shame.
All in all it's a boot that should probably be in every fans' collection.

Performance:
The band are on top form. Bono's voice seems to be a little weak, which is unuasual for the start of a tour, although it may be that he hadn't quite found his pitch yet. Any way, they are bloody good.
Audience:
Audience can be heard without. Fabulous atmosphere comes trhough.
Sound quality:
Not sure why this isn't a 5-star?!? Wonderful mix of the band and the audience. As close to perfect as you're going to get.
Overall:
A great addition to any bootleg colection. Early Elevation show when the band are just 'applying for the job of best band in the world'. And they deliver.
Definite highlights of Seetest Thing - great to here Bono having fun; The Fly - magnificent intro, and the Elevation version is my favourite of The Fly, and Bad.

Performance:
Everyone seems on top form, especially Adam. Bono at times seems half-way between being the bravado front man I've come to know and love and possibly being over-awed by the venue - remember the last time they played Wembley was Live Aid and he thought they'd really messed it up.
Audience:
I'd love to be able to review them, but they are barely audible!
Sound quality:
I know this is classed as 5 stars, and it is a soundboard recording, but there's a few niggles with me. Firstly, as the other 2 reviewers have pointed out, there is a massive delay/echo on Bono's voice during the first few tracks. Secondly, the audience is hardly heard throughout. Now I love soundboard recordings, but one with no audience is a little weird to listen to, especially in Pride. Also, at times the balance between the instruments isn't quite right. Adam can be heard clearly throughout. Sometimes Larry sounds too heavy (especially in Bad) and sometimes too quiet. I think Edge needs cranking up all the way through.
Overall:
Obviously a massive gig for the band - the first time back at Wembley after Live Aid, and the bootleg is well worth a listen.
Sunday Bloody Sunday is the highlight of the set for me. I love it when they start off with just Bono and Edge and then Larry and Adam crank up the power later in the song.
However, because of the issues I have with the sound it won't keep me coming back and back again for a JT show like "Rock's Hottest Ticket" at Rosemount, Chicago does.

Performance:
The boys seem to realy be up for it, belting out the early classics with real gusto and feeding of the crowd's energy. Bono thanks people for queuing for tickets and dedicates a song to those who are listening from outside before calling for the doors to be opened and everyone let in! Such energy in a performance is a classic example of how U2 won fans in the early days.
Audience:
As explained above, the crowd's energy really boosted the performance of the band. They were great.
Sound quality:
I think the sound is an excellent mix of the band and the audience, don't know why it's only rated as a 4, I've heard 4's much worse than this.
Overall:
Just a great gig. Well worth downloading, it will keep you coming back for more and more.

Performance:
Edge seems to be on absolutely top form, Bono his usual blabbering self, especially when signing off after Rain "Thanks for coming...now fuck off"! I think the rain may have had something to do with it.
Audience:
This part is only rated, not commented on.
Sound quality:
Fabulous sound, great mix of audience / music.
Overall:
A pretty good Popmart show, but put it into the context of other tours and it doesn't come on the scale of the magnificent. Well worth a listen though.
