Performance:
Well, since the band have decided to NOT release, any shows or live songs from 1992, on the much anticipated AB re-release,I have decided to revisit a few shows from this great tour. This download, is very similar to the VHS release from the 90's,Zoo TV Interference.Crazy clips, interviews with the band, and a few live tunes. This show, has 11 songs inbetween the band speaking. Its all very interesting, and mad.Like Zoo TV in 1992.
Audience:
Solid. From what I can remember from the special. But you cant get a sense of them at all from this recording.
Sound quality:
Back in '92,MTV had a few shows/specials, about the Zoo TV madness. There were many interviews, with the band, crazy mad clips, as well as live performances as well. This show/interview gives you a great perspective of the 1992 tour. The sound is fantastic.
Overall:
Like I said, since we are getting nothing from the band, on the AB re-release,you have to go searching.Seek no more. This download is perfect. You get 6 AB songs, plus an intense, kick ass version, of BTBS.Edge really made, this already rockin tune, very heavy. His solo is just in your face, smash mouth guitar playing.I love it.TTTYAATW,Fly and of course the epic ONE are all here for you.ZooTV interference indeed.Enjoy !!!

Performance:
The band come out kicking,as they did on most nights, on Zoo TV '92.Zoo,Fly and MW sound great. One,as always,is the standout, as far as the new songs. Its just a beautiful song.UTEOTW,after the calm of One,really gets thing going again. But then, some problems arise.
NYD,is a complete mess. They should have kept Wild Horses, in the set.Adam, then Edge (piano) are all over the place. After more mistakes,Bono actually tries to count the band back into time. After that disaster, the band come back to more familiar ground.Arms Around The World, sounds great here.It has a solid feel, drums, bass.Flow is nice.
AOH,once again,we have problems.I never liked the Zoo TV versions, of this song.It sounds dead, underrehearsed, and very boring here.
ISHFWILF,nice intimate version.Satellite sounds good.Obviously, the band played this odd Lou Reed tune, for the references to TV.Its ok.But slow.
Bad,thankfully, lifts the tempo here.Sounds good. You can almost feel the mood change, almost. But,once again, there are mistakes. The " wide awake" verse, is butchered,by Bono. His voice sounds terrible. Its not exactly Dortmund 1984.They recover somewhat.Let it go,indeed.
SBS,nice very raw perfomance. The last 30 seconds have a major mistake by Edge, but its a decent version.
BTBS,now we are talking people.Edge, kicks the shit out of the song on this tour. His lead is so heavy.I love it.Larry and Adam, play the song harder as well.Blast this version.
RTSS into Steets, were show stopping.Bono playing the harmonica, ending RTSS,as the muisc to Steets starts.Epic.
Pride is solid. The Zoo TV confessional are hysterical. The quotes dont get old, even after all this time.If you met the Edge, what would you call him ? Mr the Edge,or The.or Mr The....That always cracks me up I must say.
Desire is good. The whole Mirrorball Man I thought was a bit over the top, but, that was the point.
Some nights, the band would play UV.This, would depend on the bands mood, some have said.Very solid version here.
WOWY is just classic.Edges solo at the end is great.Shine Like stars bit is beautiful,as always.Amazing version.
IMO,ending, each and every show, with LIB,was a mistake. Its a decent song. But its dull, and just not strong enough, to send off a crowd of 50,000 people. Its a boring song, lacking spirit.Zero liveliness or shine. Therefore,it ends the night on a lackluster note.Cant Help Falling In Love would have been nice at midset. Not after LIB.WOWY would have been more appropriate ending.
Audience:
Cant really hear them, but I have seen clips of this gig over the years.Solid crowd.
Sound quality:
Listen to MW,Adams bass is so full and fat sounding.Great sound.I could never understand ,how people gave the early versions of this gig a 5 (or the famous Sweden gig). The sound was decent, not great. This is a major improvement.I played this against Dublin 93 and Sydney 93,sounds as good IMO.Edges guitar (NYD),sounds very crisp.Larrys drums, are a bit flat at times. But this is really a great listen.
Overall:
I loved the Zoo TV Tour in 1992.I attended 10 shows that year (1st and 3rd legs),and I must say,the shows were a bit of a spectacle.Huge TV screens, flashing slogans and all.I was like,WTF are U2 doing ? But I was also saying to myself, this is extraordinary.
The tour, was fantastic. It was a riot each night.Bono, actually telling jokes and having fun.Mocking President Bush, with calls to the White House.
Achtung Baby is one of U2s finest releases. The songs come alive when performed live.
DC,is a good show.No question.But way too many mistakes for a 3rd leg show.
The Yankee Stadium shows,Giants Stadium, and St Patricks Day show in Boston, from 1992,blow this show away Im afraid. The band,at times, just seem lost on stage.Get this show for the Achtung songs,BTBS,WOWY and the for the sound.

Performance:
My last show, of this long, crazy 360 tour.It was a very hot, humid summer night.I didnt think the band could top N2 in Montreal. This show is as good,if not better. The band were on fire all night.I really like the setlist, with The Fly,IWF and Magnificent.Starting the show with 4 off AB is a great move.I now look forward, to BD at each show.Paying homage, to Gabrielle Giffords, then to hear Mark Kelly say "Tell My Wife I love Her Very Much,She Knows" after all she went through,is such a moving moment for me,each and every time.
I really like hearing the 1990s material, with the 80s classics.Batman,Miss Sarajevo,AB songs,Stay,Zooropa, all fit this mad 360 tour well.I dont understand, after 3 summers, the band continue to force feed the horrible Crazy Remix. It is a total letdown at EVERY SHOW.Dont they see the fans running to the restrooms when they start that tune? Any song from PoP (MOFO) would have fit in nicely there.
Edge seemed to start Stuck, instead of Stay.Bono missed a few lyrics here and there. But other than that, this is a flawless, fantastic show.
Audience:
Crowd was very loud at this gig.My section (114) was up all night. The fans, in general, and in my section, didnt seem to know Zooropa.Shocking, considering the band named a release Zooropa.Bono seemed very pleased with the crowd.Calling us "Noisy New Jersey" at one point.
Sound quality:
This boot, gives the listener a good feel, for this impressive show.Drums and bass are prominent throughout.Bonos voice is clear,as is the Edge. For an audience bootleg, this is a very good recording.
Overall:
Loved it.A great way to end the 360 tour for me.The band played a great show this night. They were all in great spirits.Bono, reading the setlist, from a show in Jersey, circa 1981 ,was amusing.Larry actually smiling.Adam and Edge were alos having alot of fun onstage.
Ending with OOC was brilliant.MOS, is just not a good way, to end a show with. Its an ok song.40,AIWIY,WOWY or Bad are classics.MOS isnt in their class.Alot of the stadium, started to exit, once the band started MOS.I waited it out,and was rewarded with a great version of OOC.They should have done that more often. The stadium, went nuts.
I couldnt have asked for a better ending.Who knows, when this great band will be on tour again ? 3 or 4 yrs, maybe longer ?
I will remember this one.

Performance:
N1.I had the privilege of attending both shows in Montreal.I had GA for both nights.Band are very solid here.I love the 4 play of AB, to open the shows.During IWF,the GA went ballistic.Bono seemed very pleased, and was very into the show. The O Canada intro, at the start of Boots, is great. The French spoken intro during ISHFWILF went over well, with the French Canadian fans around me..I got the "feel" ,for Montreal at that moment.Promised Land snippet works well at the end.Stay,BD sound brilliant.I never grow tired of either tune.I love Mark Kellys message.Fans really got into Pride.Im glad the tune is back.Miss Sarajevo, seems out of place on this tour.UF worked better,IMO.Bad should take that spot.Zooropa picks thing back up.Loved it here. The young fans around me, started jumping up and down like crazy, during Zooropa.I enjoyed seeing that.Crazy Remix,as usual, was brutal,at least for me.Bathroom/beer run time.
Audience:
Very patient,RESPECTFUL,relaxed crowd of people.Considering the confusion, trying to gain entrance at this show.It was ridiculous. If this was in NYC,FORGET IT.Their would have been some serious problems. They had steel barriers, facing in all different directions, adding to the madness. This made no sense at all.In all my years of attending concerts,I have never seen anything like this.We were stuck in line for 90 minutes.Again, praise for the Canadian fans, for keeping their cool. The GA fans were very very good. They were very into it, a solid loud group of fans around me.Young and old.Great time was had.
Sound quality:
Not bad.Not great.Decent sounding.Nice momento for me.Volume is a bit low.Intruments sound clear,as does Bonos voice.Fans are in the background.Turn it up.
Overall:
Loved my 2 shows, in this great city. The fans, both nights, were great.I met alot of very nice Canadians, during my 4 days in Montreal. Before the second show,my wife and I, met up with 3 couples, from N1, at a brewery they told me about,3 Brasseurs.Fantastic time was had.
During MOS,the rain came down in buckets.Bono, then started to sing Rain.I will never forget that."We dont mind".Zooropa,Stay,ISHFWILF,IWF and Batman are my songs from this solid gig.

Performance:
N2 in Montreal.I drove up with my family and friends, from NYC, for these 2 gigs.I kept saying to myself,N2 would be THE show, of the 2.I was right. The band seemed a bit more fired up this night, and the setlist is almost perfect.Starting the show with 4 from AB is fantastic.EBTTRT drums at the start were echoing all over the stadium. The Fly was rocking,as was UTEOTW.But when OOC kicked in,my friends all looked at me and I knew this was goin to be special.Boots, with the O Canada intro was great. They really pounded it out here. The music to Boots is great. The lyrics, thats another story. I think Magnificent would have worked right after it.AIWIY, is one of my favorite U2 songs, loved hearing it,even though Bono was all over the place. They shocked me there.Stuck ,fit nice before BD.NYD was a personal highlight for me.Classic U2.This is the song that got me hooked on U2, in early 1983,I was 16,and I have stuck with them since.Zooropa really fits this setup well,I really like the way the band perform this song live, love the effects.Vertigo had everyone around me in a near frenzy. All jumping and singing. It was wild. The only low,as always IMO,Crazy Remix. The Remix is awful,I immediately ran from my spot in the GA to find the " beer guy".Lemon or MOFO,would work well in its place.
Audience:
This crowd (along with N1) IMO,were really great.I was in the GA, and noticed alot of young fans, along with older fans (me),we all got along fine.No pushing,no drunk ass*oles, alot of respect all around.Everyone LISTENED to the MUSIC and watched the band PERFORM,alot of dancing. This boot does not do the fans justice, believe me..it was loud !!!!
Sound quality:
Im happy, to have such a nice sounding recording, of a show I attended. No,its not perfect, some tin,Adams bass is way too low.Just play with your EQ.
Edit : (07.24.11) Noiseless, fixed the bass problem, this show now sounds fantastic.
Overall:
I might be biased here, but I really feel this was a special show.Bono was in such good spirits.I loved when he spoke French, this gives you such a FEEL for the show, and its location.UV was brilliant,as was WOWY.The Shine Like Stars bit is amazing.Reminds me of the R&H version. He should always sing that part.UV is still in my head.Im so glad I attended the shows in Montreal,I wish the night didnt have to end.The weather at this show was perfect. There was a full moon over the stage.Simply magical.

Performance:
The band come out and put on a really fine show here in Tennessee.EBTTRT,The Fly sound great to kick the show off.Very nice energy there.MW,UTEOTW,IWF.Great start. But now, we have Boots, to kill the feel.Crazy Tonight Remix/Boots are the only songs, that I have issues with, at this point. We are in the 3rd summer of the 360 tour,it would be nice if the band played a couple of different songs from No Line, instead of insisting on forcing, those 2 tired awful songs on the fans. Those are the "bathroom break songs".Mercy,No Line,Breathe,Fez anyone ?
ISHFWILF is fantastic,as always. Then Bono starts up the Wanderer. The first of 2 great standout moments at this show.He starts in the wrong key, then catches himself, and does a great J.Cash vocal,I love this. This flows right into Stay, nice slow, solid version here.Im always moved, when I hear that song.BD has the great intro, that I really enjoy.I love the interaction with Mark Kelly,as the songs intro builds up.'Im looking forward to comming HOME.Tell my WIFE I love her very much...SHE KNOWS".That is so great.BD kicks in,really great positive feel.
Zooropa, fits in this set so well, and sounds perfect here. The intro to Zooropa is great.WTF?/What Do You Want ? ?.Reminds me a bit of Fitter Happier by Radiohead.I cant wait to hear this live, at my shows. The rest of the show is solid, pretty standard set.
Audience:
Very very good crowd.
Sound quality:
For an audience, amature bootleg, this really sounds great.Edge has a bit of "tin" sound at times, but that does not take away from the raw sound, and feel, of this boot.Bonos voice is very clear.Adams bass sounds very good/deep (COBL),as does Larry.
Overall:
The start of this show,up to Vertigo,(I skip Boots), I love. The middle section, from Crazy Remix (awful) - MOS,is very standard, and so predictable now.
MOS is a decent song, but it just isnt strong enough, to close almost EVERY SHOW since 2009.After MOS,we all assumed the gig was over, but wait,Bono calls up a fan,who is blind, and asks him what song he would like to play.AIWIY,A CLASSIC,is then performed, with the fan.A true, great moment, that really moved me.I watched this over and over on You Tube. The band should do this more often, instead of ending each show with the same song, MOS.Because of this moment, this Tennessee gig,was instantly elevated as a classic show.
AIWIY (of course),The Wanderer,Stay,The Fly and Zooropa are standouts here.IMO,a must have show.

Performance:
U2 at Glastonbury, the band finally make it to the great festival.Very solid show. The band sound a bit off at the start (IMO).The Fly and Mysterious Ways have small flubs (Edge),but things settle down nicely at the start of One.I really like the setlist with One and Steets early on.My only change,I would have dropped Boots (its just an awful tune) and would have preferred to hear Glastonbury and/or Mercy. It is a bit odd, they did not play the song they wrote for this festival. The title track from No Line would have fit as well.ISHFWILF is beautiful.Stay,Bad Pride and OOC are the highlights.
Audience:
Glastonbury's crowds parcipation is always fantastic.I had the privilege of attending Glastonbury in 2003,I loved it.
Sound quality:
Its a broadcast, sound is great. The audio could use a boost (bit low),other than that its perfect.
Overall:
The fact the band went out of there way, to perform at this festival, in the middle of their North American Tour, speaks volumes to me.They wanted so bad to succeed here, and IMO, they did.Opening the show, with 5 tracks off AB is the way to go.Love it.The band are a bit tired, but pull it off.Stay is a song that I have always loved (it was played at my wedding in 1993).Beautiful version here.Sends chills up my spine, love it.BD has the great intro.SBS,Bad,Pride,WOWY in a row, very nice.Ending the show with Out Of Control was the I cant believe it (Holy Sh!t) moment.MOS is a decent song, but its not strong enough to end EVERY show.U2 have so many classic songs to end their shows with,One,WOWY,40 or AIWIY would fit the bill better,IMO.Overall...U2 at Glastonbury 2011 = Great show.....

Performance:
The band come out swinging here.Elevation,BD,Until,NYD....Bono is really kicking it at this show.He almost sounds out of breath after BD,from singing his ass off on the 1st 2 tracks.America needed a lift, they gave it to us.The Beatles gave America a lift in early 1964,after JFK died. This was comparable.Listen to the words to Kite.Losing someone you love.I lost a friend I knew well on 09.11...Bono lost his father that summer,"I dont want to see you cry,I know that this is not goodbye."..........Simply stunning.
Audience:
Hard to hear.I will give the crowd its due.The post 09.11 shows the band played in America, were the best by the band......period....if you dont agree..fine.....thats my opinion..and I will stick to it......thank you very much.
Sound quality:
Soundboard is amazing.Its in flac,convert it,or ask someone,do what you can.This sounds amazing.As good as a release.
Overall:
Its all here. The performance, the songs.......the time. The post 09.11 shows were so amazing in America. Why the band, chose to NOT release a show, from this period in America, is so inane. The passion, the spirit of U2 are all here.Bad>Streets sounds very good..not as intense as Notre Dame or NYC,but still solid. The stand out tunes......really the whole show.Wild Honey is played,as is Please,Whats Goin On.Please took on a whole new meaning after the Sept 11th attacks..Bono felt they had to play it.Peace On Earth...Walk On with the U..S..A....at the start.I felt these shows really were U2s finest hour.SBS,Kite,.....A MUST download....

Performance:
Solid, solid show here, early on the first leg.The Boy songs each night were the highlight for me.The rotation of Gloria/The Ocean are played to perfection at this gig.The fact the band also played Electric Co and An Cat Dubh, on this leg, says it all.Bad, is played kinda early at this show.Sounds brilliant as usual. The Van snippet works for me.Bonos One speech is a bit much.4:20 is long IMO.I agree with everything Bono is saying, but most dont want to hear it at a rock show.Anyway,One is nailed. As is The Fly.
Audience:
Sounds good in spots, but are drowned out by the IEM.
Sound quality:
Great mix here,IEM and Audience.I had the 4 star boot for years. Was good sounding, but this is a great upgrade. This show and Seattle (04.24.05) are the best from the first leg,as far as sound goes IMO.The count in 1,2,3,4 doesnt take anything away, and is very low. This could pass for a release, and I dont say that much.
Overall:
I really like this show.I loved the Vertigo Tour. The band for the first (and only) time, opened with diffeent songs(L&P,COBL,Vertigo),and closed with different songs each night. You have a great mix of old and new here.I never thought I would hear the band play the Ocean live. They went back to their roots on this tour.More so than Elevation. In the U.S.,the band stuck to arenas.Nothing too over the top here.Bad sounds fantastic,as does Gloria."40" ends the show. You couldnt ask for a better mix ,than this show. IMO, this is a must grab show.

Performance:
A fantastic show from the band. One of,if not the best gig from Europe 2005.This show does not stop.WOWY,OOTS with the strings, is simply magical.Vertigo opens and closes this very energetic gig.NYD has the Italian crowd in a near frenzy.
Audience:
The Italian audience (IMO) are the best European audience on every tour.Amazing, non stop sing- a- longs all show.
Sound quality:
The drawback. Not too good here.Muddy, low sound.Much audience over the band.
Overall:
An amazing show from the band. The audience are fantastic.Listen to NYD.This show should have been released as a DVD(releasing only 10 tunes from this gig is a big tease,) and CD.IWF,Elevation,BD,WOWY and Original of the Species are standouts.

Great show. This is the last of the 2010 European Tour. The boys are fired up.Bad is the standout track.Just a fantastic version.Bono really puts alot of emotion in the vocal. The AIWIY snippet really fits in well.SBS,MLK,Walk On are spot on.One/Streets are played to perfection.
Audience:
The Italian audience are usually the best from each tour/leg IMO.This audience is up there with the Milan crowds from last summers gigs(07.07 & 08.09)Just listen to One.
Sound quality:
The sound is great.Bonos voice is very clear,as are the rest of the band.MLK has done a great job, again(see also Vienna 08.30,Paris 09.18).
Overall:
This really is a great show, one of the best from this leg.Zurich 2,Paris,Frankfort,Munich and Rome. All brilliant IMO.Plus, the shows I mentioned have fantastic audience recordings.Vienna is also a great recording, but not a top show IMO.I was very impressed from this leg.As a longtime ,diehard fan I can be a bit critical. This leg shut me up.We had changes in the setlist. The band debut 6 new songs on this leg.In 30 years, that has never happened.Mercy is nailed again at this show,as it was most nights they played it.Hold Me,WOWY sound great. Why So Serious?!? Shine Like Stars snippet in WOWY.Love it.MOS and thats it.Tour over.It really was a great tour.Lord knows what to expect from the Australian leg.Peace.

What a great find.I have been listening to alot of my 1980s U2 recently.I had the AOH single on today,Love Rescue Me came on live from this show.I then looked up this show.I was shocked to see this is an FM broadcast. This is a great short gig.The band sound very good here.Bonos voice is crisp and powerfull.Keith Richards steps in and sounds only like Keith can.His guitar work and a couple of vocals on WLCTT make this a must download.LRM I was never a fan of,this is a much better version than the studio one.AOH is perfect.
Audience:
Sound very good.
Sound quality:
Amazing.FM broadcast sounds great.
Overall:
U2 live from 1988.R&H was just released (or about to be).AOH is great, and Love Comes To Town with Keith is amazing. He makes this version a rocking one.And his vocals here and there are so bad, they are great.Only Keith can make me say that.Keith also does a nice job on Rescue Me.

Really nice bootleg here.Sound is fantastic from this 30 year old show.IWF is so raw, starts off a bit different, kinda slow, then builds up.I really like the feel of this show.Bono sounds as if he is going to jump out of my speakers.Alot of energy. This is a great way to listen to the real start of the U2 sound.4 short autumns later, the band would release UF,and become the biggest band in the world.
Audience:
Small audience.Says KRO Studios,so this must be a very small crowd.
Sound quality:
Great.Band sound is very good.Adams bass jumps out,Edge,Bono and Larry are of a perfect balance.Considering this gig is from 30 years ago,the sound is superb.
Overall:
This is a must have bootleg.Boy was about to be released, and the band seem very pumped,as they should.Bono is really into this show.A Day Without Me is a nice find. They band didnt play that tune alot early on.An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart,Stories For Boys and of course, Electric Co., are standouts.Grab this, then download the first show(day) from Boston (03.06.81) and you will be set,as far as great early gigs from that era.

This is hands down, one of the top shows from the UF tour.Alot of the bootlegs from this tour do not sound good.I saw the band 5 times in 1985,but my shows just dont have the sound to go along with the performance. You have both here. The UF songs sound great.Wire is one of my favorite tunes by the band, and you have a great version here.Alot of fire, energy and passion at this show. This is a must have show, if you like this period of the band.I love this one.
Audience:
Great.40 ends and they keep singing as the bootleg fades out.Great audience.
Sound quality:
This by todays standards, this is a 4.Considering alot of bootlegs from this tour are rated the same (4), as this one,I have to give this bootleg a better rating. The sound is very clear. No loud yells over the band.Adams bass is very full.Listen to Knockin On Heavens Door.Bono is clear as is the rest of the band.
Overall:
Brilliant show.I have been listening to alot of UF bootlegs this week.I keep going back to this show. The performance is great, and the sound is very good. The UF songs and 40 (9 min) are standouts. If you want a great sounding (full show) and great performance bootleg from this tour, grab this and Bologna 02.05.85.IMO those 2 are the standouts for this tour.

Great show here.War was just released the month of this concert.I love the setlist.Gloria openeing the show and Out Of Control at the end of the set is a nice change. The story of this gig is Tomorrow.I did a double take when I saw the song listed. This has always been a personal favorite of mine.To hear this song live (after a nice version of October) is a treat to any diehard fan.The War songs are played very well,The Electric Co.,I Threw A Brick/A Day Without Me sound great as well.Alot of energy here. Two Hearts is at the end of the set ,it was usually played 5th or 6th.Sounds great.
Audience:
This is a radio broadcast,so they are a bit in the background at times.Im sure they were loud and crazy. They sound very good in spots.
Sound quality:
I went with the FM broadcast. You get 13 songs.Considering this show is from 1983,the sound is very good. The volume is a bit low, just turn it up and the show is very clear.A very good listen from early 1983.
Overall:
I love this show.Gloria opening into > Brick/A Day Without Me.Tomorrow.Out Of Control/Party Girl ending the broadcast.13 songs.Short and very sweet.A must have for the diehard.

Performance:
Love this one.Brings me back to my high school days.Seemed I was the only guy in my school that loved this band. That would change in the months to come.U2 were about to explode here in the States.Gloria,IWF,NYD and really every song they performed here sounds better than the studio versions IMO.I love this version of I Fall Down (it was left out of the DVD,recording got messed up!).Party Girl has the best version here of the song. The studio version (b side of A Celebration) is just awful. Many have said that UABRS is one of the greatest live releases.I cant argue.I just wish it had a few more tracks. You have the entire performance here.
Audience:
Great audience.Cold rainy night in Denver. They saw an alltime classic show.
Sound quality:
Solid recording. Its a bit low,so just turn up the volume and you can enjoy this epic show in its entirety. No cuts,Electric Co. and Two Hearts are full uncut versions, unlike the released versions.
Overall:
Classic.Just epic show. The band really found themselves at this time.Their live shows were so great.Just the band, the music was so powerful. The War songs took over.SBS,NYD,THBAO,Seconds and of course 40.This show has my favorite version of Tick Tock.I also loved the full version of Electric Co that was released on the vinal in 1983 from West Germany'83.Im dating myself I know. When the cd was released a few years later, for copyright reasons, the band cut out the "send in the clowns" snippet.I always loved that part of the song. You have that here in this recording from Denver.Nothing is cut. There is only a slight skip during I Fall Down. This is one of their great moments, that defIned U2.Grab this one.

Performance:
This show is just simply splendid.Brilliant.Exceptional.Glorious.This show catches the band when they seemed stunned by their popularity. It was as if they couldnt understand why we all went so wild for them.Bad at this gig is excellent.ASOH shines as well.Bono telling the Italian fans how they feel home there, even though its their first show in Italy. This is just a wonderful glimpse back in time. This is a distinctive show in the U2 cannons.Grab it.
Audience:
Fantastic as always. From this point on,U2 developed such a great connection with the Italian audience.Last years show at Milan(07.07.09) had (IMO) the best audience on the tour,no shock at all to me.
Sound quality:
I have to give this a 4.5,its over 25 years old,and sounds very, very good. And Im a picky bitch with bootlegs.Adams bass sounds great. No loud yellers over the band. This is a great listen.Bono is nice and clear,as is Edge and Larry.IMO this is THE show from this leg.I saw the band for the first time 2 months later (04.01.85 MSG).This is the U2 I fell in love with. The passion, the poweful emotions, and determination by the band. They wanted to win over the Italian audience, they did.Bigtime.This is MUST listen.
Overall:
This is when U2 just simply exploded all over the word. The could not play theatres anymore, almost to the shock of the band. They made the leap to Arenas. They had to.They were so big, they would have had to play Radio City Music Hall, in NYC, for 2 weeks straight to satisfy the demand. This show is great.Bad is here in all its glory.UF,Wire,ASOH,Pride.Bono, was just wild at this show with emotion. The Electric Co. is top here..I havent listened to this gig in some time. When I saw a show from UF tour picked as bootleg of the month,I was like, what about Bologna????? Grab this now,you will love it.

Performance:
This is an absolutely fantastic early show.Sound is great, and you get to hear a few new tunes from the forthcoming War lp.NYD is so raw.I love this version. Its not perfect, but the sound is so U2.Gloria,SBS,I Fall Down sound great.A Celebration is THE standout song for me.I could never understand why the band have so ignored this song. Its a good tune, and should not have been left off the Best of releases. The band deliberately pay zero attention to this single.
Audience:
Very solid. They sound into it,clapping and enjoying themselves.
Sound quality:
Get the rebroadcast from 2004.Its better than the original, but its missing the last 2 songs. The sound here is great.Just as good as a release.I actually played a couple of songs from this bootleg, and played them up against the released versions from October Deluxe.Sounds as good,if not better here on this boot. The original broadcast has the last 2 songs. But both downloads are missing the first 2 songs.
Overall:
Great show, great sounding boot = 5.Could pass for a release, this was a radio broadcast so you will not go wrong.A Celebration,IWF,Gloria,SBS,NYD and The Electric Co are my standouts.Love this show.

Really good show here. This is the bootleg to download if you want a great feel for the October tour.Rejoice,I Fall Down and With A Shout, show why I love that early period of the band so much.
Audience:
Solid early audience.NYC fans can be heard here, attitude and all.
Sound quality:
Great sound here. This is the best sounding boot from the October Tour.Lido Beach is also very good, and a full show.Everyone can be heard clearly at this show in Manhattan.Listen to October, sound is perfect,as is the rest of this bootleg.Cant believe this was recorded 29 yrs ago.Sounds so good.
Overall:
Really good show here.Bonos voice sounded different in the early 1980s.He sounds good, very young sounding. The only thing that upset me, Gloria is omitted, and 90% of ATAP is cut. After that its the full gig.Standouts are the October songs.Get this show. Its great.

Very good show here. The band are very into the show, you can feel the emotion from them. They want to be on stage. The set is a nice switch from night 1.AOH,Bad(singing in the rain) and Pride sound fantastic.I love hearing Bad,this is my alltime favorite song. Its a strong version. This whole gig is strong.Pride has alot of power to it.This song is a great track, and a great live singalong for the audience.Edge had a minor problem at the start of Elevation, thats it.Show is basically flawless.I have listened to this gig 4 times now.I love it.UTEOTW jumps out from this show.Maybe the best version of 360.
Audience:
Crowd was great both nights, from what I saw on youtube.WOWY has great audience participation, flooring Bono night 1.This night in the rain, Bono sounds very impressed with the audience. As he should be.
Sound quality:
The IEM from this show is FANTASTIC.As far as a bootleg, this is as good as it gets. Some pops here and there.Drums sound a bit flat, but that does not take away from the show.A must download.
Overall:
Great show.A very crisp show from this great band.I have been a fan of U2 since the early 1980's (late 1982),and I must say, they seem very alive on this tour.Bonos voice is in top form every night. There is more passion on this leg than last year.IMHO,I think 2010 is a better sounding tour than 2009,2005 and 2001.They have more energy on the stage, and are having fun.Their performance, night after night, gig after gig,has been very good.I never thought I would hear U2 playing unreleased songs on a tour. This tour we have been blessed, with 5 unreleased tracks, being played live.I also think the long layoff (end of Oct.2009,to Aug. 2010) has helped. They dont seem burned out or going through the motions at all.UTEOTW,ISHFWILF,AOH,Bad,Pride and Hold Me are standouts.Grab this show. Its a great one.

Performance:
Very good show here from the band.No nonsense.BD sounds great,IWF is very powerfull,I think it would serve better after Stingray IMHO.Magnificent is spot on.French spoken intro to ISHF is a nice touch and adds to the feel of the show in Paris.North Star and Mercy sound better and better. This is the 3rd show for Mercy and I love it.Some of the band have homes in the South of France,so this is always a great place to see U2.They love the country, and always seem relaxed and ready to give a great show in France.
Audience:
Solid audience in Paris.ISHF is their moment.
Sound quality:
Another great recording from this European Tour.MLK source is a must listen(MLK also recorded Vienna, another great sounding gig).Very clear, crisp sound.Bonos voice is up front,Edges guitar sounds perfect in the mix.No loud yells or claps over the band(a plus for me).Very nice job from MLK.Thanks.
Overall:
Another enjoyable show here. The band are loose and having so much fun on this tour.Trying unreleased songs live for the first time in ages.We dont know what to expect. Will they play EBW,Glastonbury,North Star,Mercy ? I like that.Explosive versions of IWF,UTEOTW,Streets and another great version of Hold Me.I love the ending, with Bono saying "Why so serious??" With a show performed this well, and a bootleg sounding this great, makes Paris a must have show.

Performance:
Great show here from the boys.Alot of emotion here. They are clearly into this show.Stingray,BD,IWF sound great,as does Boots.Magnificent (with the different German towns mentioned) is a top version for me.I just love how this show was performed and sounds.Elevation even sounds energetic and alive (and Im bored as hell of that tune).UTEOTW just jumps out from this bootleg, and hits you in the face.Bonos intro for ISHFWILF is great.Love how he mentions the different beers of Germany. And also how he says the Drs and nurses are the real hero's in society. How true.North Star sounds brilliant,as does Mercy.Bono seems shocked that the fans are singing along with North Star.Bono is not a naive man,he knows how ardent his fans are.Guess he was joking. There are a couple of mistakes(Edge-Walk On,UV,Bono-WOWY),but that takes nothing away from the show.Love this one.
Audience:
This sounds like a soundboard,so the audience are way in the background.I (as usual) watched alot of this show on youtube.Fans were way into it.A solid audience. There moment,ISHFWILF.
Sound quality:
WOW !!!..I almost never give 5 stars to a bootleg audience recording. As far as an audience bootleg, you will not get a better, crisper sound than this.Iam actually floored here. This is another fantastic job by Alysha.Im a picky, pain in the ass with bootlegs, but this recording(remastered) is great. The first boot on here(granted, only a few hours after the show) was muddy sounding, loud audience over the band. This one sounds so good I thought it might it might be an IEM or Soundboard.I believe I heard a tech say "power" before a song. But,whatever source this recording is, the sound is great.Edges guitar(and background vocals) are so clear(see Boots),Bonos voice is very clear and loud (MOTD).Adam and Larry sound very good as well.Download this and play it up against any bootleg. Its amazing.Listen to the Edges harmonics during UTEOTW.They bounced all over my sound system. Its really sounds amazing.Have a couple of Hofbrau Oktoberfest beers and enjoy this show. You will feel as if you are there in Germany.Munchen indeed !!!!!!!!
Overall:
Great show.Great sounding bootleg. The entire show is one big highlight. The band have always loved playing in Germany, going back to the great shows from August 20th,1983 St Goarshausen, Germany and November 21,1984 Dortmund,Germany(one of the best EVER by the band).Alot of energy here.MOTD is great.Bono hits the high note here..." see their tears in the rainfall"(unlike Zurich).Very moving hearing the crowd sing at the end.You can really FEEL IT when you listen to this show.Mercy,is played for the second time. The band seem to have more life on this tour, than last year.Maybe its the new songs, being performed before they are released.Whatever it is,its working. This tour has been brilliant so far.Download this gig right away. You will love it.

Performance:
The good old days.Yes indeed.I was at this show, many years ago. So,yes Im a bit biased here. This gig is U2 at their peak. They were the biggest band in the world.JT was the biggest LP.I saw the band 10 times on this tour, and this show followed by night 2,were the best shows period EVER for me,and I have seen the band on EVERY tour from UF-360.The band did not return to NYC for 5 long years after this gig. They changed in that time,as we all did.I have lived my life through U2s music.I remember the openeing bars of Streets like it was yesterday. So emotional. It was indeed like a spiritual gathering at MSG.We stood in awe of this great band from Ireland.Bonos Dad was at this gig.' Irelands the place from keeping my feet from getting wet !!!".Sunday Bloody Sunday in NYC.An epic version.BTBS,Bad,Steets,IWF.....Amazing stuff here. You can not top this.
Audience:
Fantastic. We did not sit down at all this evening. And sang our hearts out.
Sound quality:
This show shocked me,on how well it sounds.I almost didnt bother to download this gig because it was rated a 4.That rating does not do this gig justice. This was recorded in 1987.It is a much better recording than Brussels, and both shows have been talked about as the best of this tour, and maybe ever by the band.Im very picky(bitchy) about bootleg recordings. There is no,zero, loud yelling over the band. You can hear Bono like hes in your livingroom. You must download this gig now.Bonos voice is so clear,as is the bands instruments.Adams bass is very audible and deep, listen to NYD.Then listen to the energy of this band. They took nothing for granted, and gave us what we needed.Amazing night in NYC.I will never forget.
Overall:
I think this gig has flown under the radar.I know it was a long time ago,but this is classic U2.No over the top props,no 50 foot LEMONS,No Village People getups,No Claw,No 200 foot TV screens with images to distract us from the music. This show was about one thing. The MUSIC.Listen to Exit.Very, very intense.Bono was shaking during Bloody Sunday.October/NYD.After NYD Bonos says,"I think Im in love".That is a personal favorite of mine,NYD.Its the song that got me hooked on U2,at 16.U2 have always love playing NYC.You can really feel it here.I have read that this was Bonos fathers first show,he picked a good one to attened. As did I.Get this old school U2 gig now.BAD WAS EPIC.Wide Awake in NYC........This night will stay with me always.

Epic.Maybe the best show of the tour.2 of my shows at MSG,09.28,29.87 are up there as well as top gigs from this tour..This was at the height of U2MANIA in 1987.The JT was the LP to have, and this tour was amazing. It really brings me back, hearing these songs ,played this way live.Streets is amazing.I always loved it as an opener on this tour.(From time to time the band would open with Stand By Me).IWF is next, you can actually feel the energy emanating from the band.ISHFWILF,has a great intro speech, very moving.BTBK,Exit are very intense,as they should be.I love the Gloria snippet at the end of Exit.Bad is brilliant as usual. The dedication to G.C. is touching.WOWY has one of the BEST VERSIONS OF THIS SONG.Hands down.SLS/LWTUA snippets are fantastic.
Audience:
I remember seeing an old VHS of this gig, when I was in college, back in 1988.The crowd was very energetic and vocal throughout.Great audience.I wish I still had that tape.
Sound quality:
I have always been a fan of this show, and the Paris gig from July 4th,1987.Some really loud fan noise throughout this bootleg made me take half a star off.Example, the start of Streets, someone is whistleing, very loudly, very annoying, drowning out the music.Im sorry, but I cant listen to a song and enjoy it,if a loud yell or whistle is much louder than the music.A shame, this is obviously a special gig, from a special tour, that I had the privilege of attending 10 times in the USA.
Overall:
This is a fantastic show, with a great audience, the only problem, this bootleg is not top notch soundwise.I know, its from over 20 years ago,I know, but it is not great quality IMO.Listen to the Paris gig, that was released on iTunes in 2007.The setlists are the same from both of those great European shows, sans Streets.A pity, this show wasnt released. As it is U2 at the best.Highlights : The entire perfomance by the band.(Steeets,BTBK,Bad and of course WOWY are some of the best performances you will hear). The lowlights : The recording is decent, not great. This is a MUST download nontheless. If you want quality, just blast Paris 07.04.87

Performance:
Very good show. This is the first of 2 great shows in Zurich.Night 2 is one of the greatest by the band. But this is no sleeper.I watched alot of this gig on youtube.I really like Magnificent before BD.But I think NYD or IWF should flip in the second spot each night.Nice version of EBW.Nice tribute before MOS,finally speaking about the 9th anniversary of the 09.11 attacks on America, before the last song of the night. Thanking America for a great life.Well said by Bono.
Audience:
I watched alot of this show on youtube, they sing great during One at this gig.Solid audience.
Sound quality:
Not big on this recording at all.The audience, is VERY LOUD.The recording is in the background, the crowd yell all over Stingray.Example,Magnificent, the guy is yelling very loud over the WHOLE SONG.After the 10TH YEAHHHHHHH,that made me skip the tune altogether.Same goes for the start of ISHFWILF.The audience,(guy) is louder than Bono during parts of the gig.If he wasnt present, this would be a very good boot.A solid 4.Good effort by the taper. You cant control who stands or sits by you at a gig.Bono is clear, but tin sounding. The whole boot has a tin sound to it.Go with night 2,and you will HEAR a huge difference.
Overall:
The band put on a very good show here, albeit I couldnt enjoy alot of it (loud screams/yells over the band).Another reason why I wish U2 would release live shows on their website.I watched alot of this gig on youtube, and the band were on.I enjoyed MOS.Very moving version.I would love a better recording of this whole show.Maybe in time,we will get one.I just couldnt enjoy the show, not for a lack of performance, too much loud screaming over the band.A shame. As I pointed out,Bonos words before MOS were SPECIAL to me as an American from in NYC,I appreciated it.

Performance:
I must say this an extraordinary show. The second,of 2 great show in the beautiful city of Zurich.BD is great.Rain snippet is so perfect.IWF has alot of punch to it.Sounds alive again.Boots and Magnificent have mistakes,Bono losses his way on both tunes. But this can be overlooked on this rainy night.I love the "I was born to..sing in the rain" during Magnificent. The conditions during this show were trecherous.Buckets of rain pouring down. The band have really shown me something on this European Tour.Playing songs that dont seem finished, but add something special to these shows. Finally, Mercy is played.I love this song. This is a tune you either love,or hate.I love it.And the sound is brilliant here. One is very raw, with a good nasty bite to it..Like a Hurricane snippet starts the song, then Bono says "do you give a shit about it,have some fun in the rain".I cant say enough about this great performance, in the beautiful city of Zurich.
Audience:
They witnessed a fantastic show, and they braved some serious weather. They stood their ground, and U2 gave them a brilliant show.A fantastic audience.
Sound quality:
Great.Iam very very picky with bootlegs. This show sounds crazy good.A bit of chatting in the background during some songs, but its very low and does not distract.Less than 24 hrs after a fantastic show,a fantastic sounding bootleg.Frankfort,Vienna both sound great as well. But this show has it all.The bass,Larrys drums,Bonos vocals, and Edges backing vocals/guitars are perfect.Get this forthwith.
Overall:
Well I must say this is THE show.We all said that after Helsinki 2,but the sound took alot of air out of that bootleg/show for me.That is not the case here. The sound is fantastic, much better than night 1 (as far as sound). Both shows were brilliant. But this bootleg sounds better IMO.The band are having fun in the rain.Adam removed his shirt towards the end of the show.Getting drenched along with the Swiss fans.North Star (a little demo), is brilliant.Mercy ,exceptional.MOTD is so moving,I replayed the song 5 times, before moving on to listen to the rest of this one of a kind show.Grab this show now.You will love it.This is the first show on the 360 tour that didnt have the ususal 3/4 song encore. No WOWY,a first on the 360 tour. But the Swiss enjoyed memorable night......I WILL FOLLOW !!!

Performance:
Good show here.Stingray>BD>NYD.I think NYD would fit better after Stingray, move BD,back to its old spot in the setlist,5th or 6th.The band are in a very relaxed mood,on this very cold night in Vienna. The slower songs(IALW,EBW,MLK,ONE,Miss S.,MOS) come off very well.Magnificent has a very shakey start.Edge is hitting wrong notes, band is off for a couple moments. The song settles down, but the feel of the song is ruined.MW has a VERY delayed start.Edge was havin some problems,AGAIN at the start of this song.Bono is doing his Oh Ah over and over waiting anxiously for Edge to join in.ISHFWILF has a nice intro speech, start is a little sloppy, but it has a nice flow to it.EBW is once again the story of a show (Helsinki 2). It is played for the second time.I love it.I cant believe the band left this off No Line. Its a beautiful song, and Im glad it was played at this show.I finally have a clear version of this moving song.Bono says its getting there after the song.IMO its there.I love it.Vertigo is very, very sloppy.Edge is hitting wrong chords,Bono doesnt sing the "all of this...".Sounds way off.Maybe Edges hands were cold.UV subs for Hold Me.Sounds very good. Both should be played,Hold Me (with the Joker intro) is a MUCH better opener to the encore.UV should follow Hold Me.
Audience:
Good crowd. They are there, but this boot really has the audience in the background.ISHFWILF is their moment here.
Sound quality:
Very very very good.Sharp/clear tone. After listening to Hannover (very tin, echo sounding),then this show.No comparison.I love the sound on this bootleg. You can hear Larry's drums perfectly(symbols, highhat).Listen to Larry on One.Splendid.Sounds close to a release.Adams bass is clear (Streets). This beats Frankfort as the best sounding from this European Tour, as of this date,by a hair.Bono is very clear,as is the band.A must have download.
Overall:
Very good performance.A superb listen. The sound is the story here. This is a basic setlist (aside from from EBW).EBW is the standout of this show. Its a great tune.A pleasant listen.Miss Sarajevo sounds great.Love Bonos opera moment.A bit melodramatic, but I like it.He tries his best on it.One, (maybe U2's best song), sounds brilliant as usual.IMO, this classic would fit better as a show closer on 360,as it did on the PoP tour. This whole show flows nice.I wish more shows sounded this good.EBW,One,Miss S.,Ultra Violet + great sound, made me give this gig a 4.5 overall.

Performance:
Good show.Nothing to special IMO.Stingray (Achtung Baby !!),BD,NYD sound very good starting things up.Bono does his Mork speech before ISHFWILF,sounds very annoying.Glastonbury is the highlight of this gig for me.I really like this tune,I hope it comes back to the setlist.Sounds a bit more polished here, then the 2 gigs it was played at previously. Also,Hold Me is standout.Great song.
Audience:
Solid 4.German crowds are always into the music.I watched a few clips on Youtube, very good audience.
Sound quality:
Not good.Very echo sounding here. This show might have been recorded from the back of the stadium.Sound escapes, leaving a tin/flat sound all over this boot. This show is a carbon copy of Frankfort. But,Frankfort sounds great, this show does not.
Overall:
Good show.I like Magnificent,Bono saying some German towns(Hamburg,Hannover) before the tune.NYD is spot on.This show is identical to Frankfort, but thats where the comparisons end.The culprit is the sound of course.Unless you attended this gig,or want to hear EVERY U2 show (like me),you can pass this one up.I cant enjoy any gig,if the sound isnt good. The tin/echo gave me a headache, and I struggled to listen to this show in its entirety.Listen to Frankfort instead.

Performance:
The show starts out very well.Stingray into a great version of BD.Bono belts this one out,and screams the "Touch Me" line.Great start, but now,the problems begin.Boots is awful.I dont like the song as it is,but this version is a mess.At the 2:05 mark the band go off in different directions. After a few seconds, they recover and finish.Magnificent starts, and Bono seems out of breath or tired.Maybe that shout during BD took something out of him.Its an ok version.MW is next.Bono is doing the "oh ah" but Edges guitar is not not working. The effects/sound isnt there. After what seems like an eternity,Edges guitar is on,they recover. But another shakey moment to say the least.Elevation and ISHFWILF are off as well. They just sound, a bit out of key to me.Once Miss Sarajevo is started, the show takes a positive turn.Great version of Sarajevo, also COBL and Vertigo are on the money.Thank goodness.
Audience:
They sound ok.But this bootleg doesnt really do them any justice. Im sure they were into it.WOWY is there finest moment.
Sound quality:
Tin.ALOT of tin on this one.The gig from the night before is muddy/flat sounding. This one,too much tin.No bass.I dont know which one is better,or worse.
Overall:
The 2 shows from Horsens are very similar.Almost identical setlists. The encore from this gig is the best part, hands down of both shows.Hold Me,into UV.Great 2 songs there. They work very well together.UV is played very well. That is the only difference from the 2 shows.A pity, the band have so many great songs they could have added, for these 2 shows, but chose to play it very safe in Horsens.Pride,IWF,EBW could have easily been played night 2,as they were in Finland the following week.

Performance:
Great gig.I wanted to hear this show from the start.U2 in Russia.BD,NYD & Magnificent pack a nice punch at the start of this show.Bono is very talkative.Band are pumped up.ISHFWILF is great.Pride works great here.Nice to see the classic making an appearance.MLK has a great passionate speech during its intro.Walk on has a bit more punch to it,even though Edge flubs the solo, and Bono losses his place a bit at the end. But, it is a very emotional version.Being in Russia, obviously has Bono all fired up.
Audience:
From what I have watched on youtube, they really ruffed it out in some bad weather.Pouring rain, and they are dancing, singing along and having a great time.
Sound quality:
Dont like the sound on this one.Very tin sounding, loud claps at times drown out the band.Very low echo sounding.Gave me a headache trying to listen to this great show.Clear laughing during Bonos speeches. Band are in the background on this one.Sounds like it was recorded from far away in the stadium.Stadiums,as we know, werent made for music. The sound escapes.I really wish this sounded as good as Frankfort.
Overall:
Great performance. But, the sound has a very echo/tin to it.This is another reason why I WISH THE BAND WOULD RELEASE SHOWS ON THEIR WEBSITE !!! The tin sound takes some of the fun out of this great show. The sound forced me to take a half star off my overall rating. But,no question, this show is worth a listen. The fact the band are in Russia, adds alot to the emotion of this show.

I remember this show,it was the night of the MTV awards, and I tuned in to see U2.EBTTRT was the one song broadcast, and it was great.Garth( from Waynes World)said some very funny shit to Bono. You get 8 songs, the Intro is not a song IMO,but its great, the intro music is Pearl Jams Even Flow!! Zoo Station has the classic version with George H.W.Bush Intro saying over and over We Will, We Will, Rock You.Wish this was more than just 8 songs. Also of note, you have Larry singing the old Irish standard Wild (Irish) Rover.
Audience:
Very good. You have a good taste of them, albiet only 8 tunes to judge.
Sound quality:
The 8 songs are FM broadcast quality.Sounds great. But only 8 songs.

Very good basic show, but nothing really out of the norm here.Bono is happy to be in Denmark, thanking the models and such.NYD is the song for me on this one.Bono loses his way during Streets (at the 3:15 mark).MW,Still Havent are solid versions.Frankfort,Turin and Helsinki 2 are better performances(also soundwise),IMO.
Audience:
Sound good.Alot of clapping before and after songs. They look great on Youtube, you cant really hear them much on this bootleg.
Sound quality:
Under a 4 IMO.I thought this was going to be a better sounding boot.Bono is good/clear,the rest of the band sound a bit muddy,flat/tin.Larrys drums do not sound good(tin).Clapping is a bit loud before and after every song, but not during.Sound goes in and out, from one speaker to the next.Overall, not a bad listen, but not a great one either. There are no annoying yells or conversations on this .
Overall:
I like this show, but I couldnt really enjoy it as much as I wanted to.The sound is the culprit, not the band.Streets goes in and out so much,I had to skip it.The highlights,NYD,MLK,Walk On,and of course HMTMKMKM(this tune is a show stopper each night its played).

Fantastic show.A few gaffs, but so what.I love that the band are starting to mix up some of the classics.Rotate NYD,add IWF for a show.Rotate SBS,replace it with Pride.Thats what I want.Great.NLOTH is played as well.Edge is all over the place, but thats fine. Its live.I think if they worked on this a bit more,it would sound very good.Nice overall energy here. The big moment is of course,EBW.This song has been mentioned for almost 2 yrs now.Its fantastic.I dont know why they left it off NLOTH.This and North Star are great ballads that should be played every night.Weird moment, after a great version of WOWY, Bono seems kinda, lost.Like he forgot what song was next or what he was saying. He stops speaking, and says "um what do we wanna do......um......I think we are gonna........ end....." Strange 30 seconds there. The next song,MOS,doesnt have the chant Oh Oh Oh Ohhhhh at the start.(Like Bono was still kinda in Zoo Station there.) Doesnt sound as good without that. But,besides that blip, this is a very solid show.A MUST HAVE.
Audience:
Sound good,very good on WOWY.
Sound quality:
This is my only problem with the show. The sound.I played this gig, then listened to Frankfort. This show, unlike Frankfort, has a very strong TIN sound to it.This is a great gig,so you have to deal with the tin.The loud clapping is annoying after every song as well. Its not bad,but I guess Frankfort spoiled me.
Overall:
I think this is the show of the tour so far.Its really a 5,but I had to dock it cause the sound isnt as good as Frankfort. The standouts are many,EBV,IWF.NLOTH,Glastonbury,Batman,WOWY,Pride.

Top show here.Very energetic.Really like it.Stingray>Beautiful Day>NYD is a solid start.Achtung Baby!!! I like having NYD in again.Maybe not every night, just a show here and there.Magnificent sounds really smooth here.MW with the MSL snippet is good as well. Its also not a long, drawn out version.Bono is in a very good talkative mood. His comments about his surgery, in Germany, are very funny."Made in Germany sticker on my ass".Classic.Glastonbury really sounds good here.Rocking crisp version.I like it.Miss Sarajevo works well.I think a better lead in would be Your Blue Room>Miss Sarajevo instead of IALW>Miss Sarajevo. The spoken German at the start of UF gives the song a nice hometown feel.Vertigo kicks ass at this gig,and has since the start of 360 tour since 2009.This song,I really DONT MIND hearing over and over. Its short, solid and rocking. Its the end of the world and we know it snippit sounds great.Batman Theme fits so well. The strings, the Joker,then..bang its on.SHOWTIME.
Audience:
Solid German crowd as usual.
Sound quality:
Really great sounding show.A bit of tin sounding, but its very very good.Bonos vocals/speeches are so clear. The bands instuments sound very crisp. This show is better than a 4.
Overall:
Really like the whole FEEL of this show. The band are in great spirits here.I watched alot of this show on youtube.Lots of smiles from the band during this show, even one or two from Larry !! Standouts :Glastonbury,Magnificent,Miss Sarajevo,UTEOTW,HMTMKMKM.This show sounds better than Turin, both are great shows. You should get this one for the fact that,it sounds very good and the boys are very into it..

Performance:
This is a very solid gig that I think, flew under the radar last fall. The boys are in fine form here, the new tunes start us up,then MW gets the place up and dancing.Im not a big fan of MW,but it always goes over live.Same goes for Elevation,I cringe at the lyrics, but again, its a crowd pleaser.Bono is talkative, saying Houston is the" home of space stations".Very true."Houston we have no problem" is a great quote before ISHFWILF.The fans sing the intro word for word.Great moment, and you really get a good FEEL for this show.Bono sounds genuine and sincere thanking everyone from NASA.Stand By Me follows, and is very passionate.NLOTH is more intense than usual. Its a blazing version. The standout track is the rare, strange sounding Your Blue Room. This is a great version, sound is very good and clear(much better than the NJ 09.23.09 soundwise). This is the LAST time this song was played in 2009.It was replaced with IALW. UTEOTW has it usual bite.Solid show here.
Audience:
Cant really hear them, but Im sure they were better than you can hear.
Sound quality:
For an audience recording, this is very good.Bono and Edges vocals are clear,as is the Edges guitar.Larry and Adam instruments sound a bit flat.Example, the start of Vertigo sounds very muffled.Even Edges guitar sounds like hes in a tin box at the start.I try to listen to audience recordings with an open mind. After all, these are amature recordings.Thats why its called a "bootleg".If you want a much better sounding show, you should stay with the Q/BBC broadcast of Sheffield. But this has a good, raw live sound to it.
Overall:
A very nice find here.I pretty much stopped downloading shows after my 2 at Giants Stadium in Sept (cause of the VERY similar setlists). But this is a good sounding show, the band are in top form, and you have Your Blue Room ,making its last appearance for 2009.I thought this odd track worked, but obviously the band felt IALW worked better.Standouts : BD,ISHFWILF,NLOTH,YBR,UF,One,and a great version of UV.Grab this show.

Performance:
Considering the band havent played live in 10 months, and Bono had his back issue, the band sound very very good. The emotion is there,I loved seein Larry stand up after the Stingray Intro and clap for Bono. The band seem happy to be onstage. The band actually play 3 new songs, and I really like them.IMO,they are much better than Get On Yours Boots.Glastonbury is very good rockin tune.North Star is very good as well.Stingray Intro is a good, hard rockin tune,I wish it was longer.Miss Sarajevo is fantastic, and is a standout moment of this gig.Hold Me is classic. The start, Why So Serious !!..Classic.This hasnt been played in 12 yrs.Nice move guys.Love it. The setlist.Ok,we have 3 new tunes thank God.We have pretty much the same set as last year.Once we get to Unforgettable Fire, its the same as last year.Thats a bit, dissapointing.Ultra Violet, one of my fav U2 songs, is dropped, for Hold Me.I dont have a prob with them playing the Batman song at all,but they should have kept UV in.UTEOTW is played out, enough of it.Crazy Tonight remix is BRUTAL.Why not play the studio version,as they did in Barcelona 07.02.09 ?How about adding Hands That Built America,All I want Is You,Bad,ASOH,EBTTRT,THE FLY,BTBS.I think the PoP tunes would go well with the spaceship theme,Last Night On Earth maybe???How about an acoustic version of Love Is Blindness ?They really need to mix things up.How about an encore of,Bullet The Blue Sky,Bad,Ultra Violet,One and then ending with All I Want Is You..KEEP US GUESSING,NOT KNOWING WHAT SONG IS NEXT.Even Pride, once in a while, as an encore, is fine.Just not every single night. PATSSOX95 Im sorry you didnt like what I said here. But thats not only opinion, but a fact. You shouldnt worry about what I said, write a review, not a comment on mine. The band repeat too many songs every night. They opened with Breathe(sans 1 show at Foxboro) and closed with UV,WOWY and MOS at EVERY SINGLE SHOW last year.Fact.The next 2 shows after Turin,Frankfort and Hannover, are the SAME SHOWS.Great shows, yes. But identical.By the way,I know the band broke up the setlist on Vertigo (I attended 4 shows),but that was 5 years ago.Why would I write about another tour here ?? FYI,DMB have sold out many a stadium the past few years.Fennway Park 2006 and 2009,2 nights.Citi Field 2010, 2 nights,Wrigley 2010, 2 nights.Do your home work before putting down DMB.
Audience:
I can hear them ,but the bootleg does not do them justice..I have watched this show on youtube, and the Italian fans are goin wild as usual. They are great fans, hands down maybe the best in the world.I have a show of PJ,Milan 06.22.00.The fans are so loud, singing word for word. I cant believe the passion.Great fans.
Sound quality:
Its better than I would have thought less than 24 hours after the show. Its a very solid 4,really like a 4.25 IMO.Bonos voice is very clear, speeches etc.The bands intruments sound good,Larrys drums are muffled, but,hey its an audience recording.Very good, get it.
Overall:
This is a good start to the European tour.No question a very very solid show. The 3 new songs are an added pleasure.I think the band,IMO,need to add some No Line songs,Stand Up,Cedars,Fez that HAVENT BEEN PLAYED.Get On Your Boots, drop it,move on.There are much better tunes on NLOTH (Unknown Caller,TITLE TRACK).I would have given this a 4,but the 3 new tunes give it a solid 4.5. A must download. Peace.

Sound quality:
WAY OVERATTED.4.5???Dortmund,11.21.84 is a clear 5.This is just a hair below Dortmund???????????????????????No way.All you hear is Bono and the tic tic tic tic tic.
Overall:
Disappointed.Wow,how let down Iam again. This show is nothing but Bono.I dont understand how this gets such a high ratting..and an upgrade at that. This great band frustrate me.DMB have 50 live releases.50!!! Pearl Jam..I lost count.U2 ???.....have what ??.....an E.P. from '83,half a live disc from '87...'92 Sydney..'01 Slane..thats it on cd,Chicago on DVD.A shame.

From what I could make out over the guy yelling..they sound good. The new songs are played well..as is the classic Unforgettable Fire.
Audience:
Crowd sound ok.They dont compare to the rest of Europe.
Sound quality:
Its ok,until the loud talking starts up..The chatting is very annoying.I could not get into the gig.The beggining of Magnificent is ruined by some guy, there is always one, yelling loudly over the recording. After the 10th YEAH !!!!!!!! I hit..skip..next song..same thing. After a few songs of the same..I deleted the show. This is in regards to the 4.5 star "upgraded version".If you didnt have the "loud ANNOYING guy" yelling..this would be a solid 4.The band sound good...but it really sounds like an amature bootleg recording. Not worth your time.
Overall:
I have the show from the next night in Paris.07.12.09.That show sounds much, much better than this show.Skip this one.

The band are very on here.Great setlist.Bad is played well.WITK,TSAM is here as well.IMO,this really was the U2Singles tour. These were the new tracks from that release. The tour was delayed 8 months from April 2006,to November 2006.Word was that a bands family memeber was sick.Too bad these end of year gigs are not released by the band.
Audience:
You can here the crowd. They sound very good.Seem to be enjoying themselves.
Sound quality:
Not good. This show has a very tin sound to it.Bonos voice has a static, tin box sound. It does not sound good at all.I dont know how people can say this sounds good.It sounds like an amature audience recording. Adams bass is too high. You really have to play around with your EQ with this one.You can hear the band, but it is too loud with tin/static echo sound.Go with the Seattle show,04.24.05.That is the best sounding boot from this tour.Bonos voice here sounds like hes in the shower.Seriously.Very put off by this one.Shocked by the high ratting.IEM/ALD version.
Overall:
I deleted this one.Sound is bad, tin, distant, static sounding boot.Go with Seattle,Sweden and Copenhagen.

This is a great gig from the first leg of the Vertigo tour. The band really mixed things up alot on this tour.Unlike the 360 tour, they closed and opened with different songs each night for Vertigo tour. This night they open with Love and Peace.Sounds wild. Its different for sure.Im not used to hearing this song as an opener, only in the political part in the middle of the gig.Its a great CHANGE.We get a couple of songs from Boy as well.Electric Co,An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart sound great.Adam flubs a bit on both songs, but they were only one month into the tour, but besides those minor mistakes, they sound great.Miracle Drug,SYCMIOYO are great as usual, back to back.
Audience:
Sound good.
Sound quality:
Well, this is without a doubt the find of the tour. The best sound hands down. Its better soundwise than Gothenburg (my fav) and Copenhagen.A classic boot.Sounds like a soundboard with the audience,yes..its that good.
Overall:
You have a great mix of very early songs and the new tunes. You cant go wrong with the Boy tunes, the 4 ZooTV tracks that end the main set,and go into the encore. Then closing with 40.A classic early gig from a great tour.Cheers.

Performance:
I attended this show and the gig from the night before. Both shows were great, but I give the nod to this night. The band are very loose and are having fun.I love arena shows over stadiums. The band play some early classics here,Gloria,The Ocean. The block of 4 ZooTV tunes is great from One - MW.The great thing about the Vertigo tour, unlike 360,the band played alot of different songs, each and every night. This night they closed with Bad.Classic.
Audience:
My section,236 row 4,was great.Loud and into it.You cant capture that on a bootleg. Its too bad the band refuse to release their shows like Pearl Jam do.
Sound quality:
This is really a 4 1/2,but there is one real pain in the ass yelling YEAHHH WOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! before and after EVERY song.Iam like "shut the fuck up already".He almost ruins this great recording.Almost.It is not the tapers fault. You cant control who sits next to you. This guy is so loud.Listen to the very start of MW,I had this gig on my system,I almost jumped when he screamed WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! .Besides that...very good recording. At the end of side 1,the taper fades out.Well done. Also for the encores the fade in and out is nicely done.Just lower the volume between songs.Nice momento for me.
Overall:
Great show.I was lucky to have attended 4 shows from this tour. This show stands out,as well as NYC 10.07.05.But,the band played,Gloria,Ocean and Bad.So,an old diehard like me was very pleased.Every...Thing...You...K....K..KNOW...The Fly..Mint version....Bono is very into this show.I brought my daughter for her 11th birthday. It was her first U2 show. She loved it.She kept saying "Bono is having so much fun".Very true.ISHFWILF is wild.I remember thinking "what the hell??"..The band call up a couple of guys (The Bankrobbers) from the crowd to play and sing.It was a funny moment.Bono keeps saying "Thank You" after, but they wouldnt leave. They didnt kill the song either....As I said..very loose gig.

Solid show. The post 09/11 shows had much emotion. Please is the standout track.BTBS was powerful.Im not sure if that was a wise choice to play ,under the circumstances. But it worked well with What Goin' On following it. Pride,One,Peace On Earth into Walk On are fantastic.New York was played at the end of the set.Of course the song had a whole new meaning. It still does.Very solid show. But,IMO,it does not have the fire of the 3 NYC shows (10.24,25,27.01),or the Notre Dame show. This is a top 10 post 09/11 show from the 3rd leg.But the sound is so good, you can rate it higher.
Audience:
Being a soundboard, you can hear them faintly.
Sound quality:
This soundboard is amazing. It is as clear as the Cleveland boot.Get this now.Bonos voice is so crisp,as is the rest of the band. The balance is very well done.Amazing soundboard.
Overall:
I dont know why this show is not more popular.Great setlist, very solid performance. The audience Im sure were very good, but with a soundboard you loose that. Please is the song of the night,as it was with most post 09/11 shows.I really like this acoustic version. This is the clearest one, much better than the Miami boot 12/01.

Audience:
This is a soundboard, cant get a good feel for them
Sound quality:
This show sounds FANTASTIC.It could pass for a release.I like soundboards way better than IEM/ALD,for the simple reason, you dont have the 1234 count in.Great balance here. The best sounding boot from the Elevation tour.
Overall:
BTBS is really played well.I like the Bowie snippet.I Remeber You sounds great before One.Walk On,Elevation,BD and of course Kite are great here.NY has a different sound at the start.Sounds like maybe a keyboard maybe at the start??This was evident early in the tour.I like it,but it was done away with .Solid show.Great sound.Get this one.

Performance:
Very very good performance by the band here. The new songs are played very well,as is the old classics SBS,UF,WOWY.I dont like having 5 songs from ATYCLB in the set.YBR worked much better than IALW.The buildup before YBR was great. It worked so well. The same can not be said here. When Frank comes in at the end, after hearing how well that sequnce worked during YBR,it sounds off now.UC sounds great. The band dropped it for a bit,and brought it back with alot of passion.Magnificent is solid, but Adam plays a wrote note,or 2,for a bit.Other than that, the performance is fantastic.
Audience:
Very solid.I think big stadium shows in America are hIt and miss.If you have very good seats (as I did for the shows I attended),the fan gets into the show. But,if you are sitting 2 miles away, and forced to watch a screen, you feel left out.I believe that is the case here. You can hear them well, but some are not into it.On the Utube broadcast, the fans down low were having fun,and enjoying themselves.I will wait for the DVD to see how the fans are,a proper release.
Sound quality:
I went with the Matrix (mp3).The sound is fantastic. This mix is such an improvement over the first version I had.The echo from Larrys drums is no longer present. On the broadcast, his drums sounded terrible. They were flat.Bonos voice is so clear.I put this on cd right away.My friends all thought it was a release.Thats how great it sounds.Again, this is such a great job.Thank you for this version !!
Overall:
Well, the sound is great. The setlist is very good.I would have liked to hear hear more from the NEW cd.Like Cedars,or Fez.But anyway,UF,UTEOTW are maybe the BEST versions from the tour.Same goes for UC.Great job on this matrix.TY.

Performance:
By the end of 1984 the band were really finding their peak performing. This tour, and the Joshua Tree period, are my favorites. Bono really started to have some confidence in his voice. You can hear that confidence in the performance of UF and Bad, from this gig.Hes singing, not yelling.Back then,Bono had a very powerfull voice.Bad has a breakdown at the start, but Bono does some great improvising while Edge changes guitars.I saw the band 5 times on The Unforgettable Fire tour. This show, with Dortmund 11.21.84 ,NYC 04.01.85 and NJ 04.15.85 are the best from that tour.
Audience:
Sound very good, but they are in and out from this recording.
Sound quality:
This show is exactly 25 yrs old.Considering that, this is very good. You have alot of that "bootleg tin" sound, but Adams bass is clear. That saves the sound.Bonos voice is up front.A solid 4.Much better than most of the other bootlegs with the same ratting. The Dortmund gig and Montreal gig sound much, much better. But,this show is so good, you can deal with the tin sound.
Overall:
Great show.Surrender,Two Hearts,Bad ,UF,EC (with no cuts),ASOH,40.This is classic U2.Vintage.You dont have any "remix" versions here.Thank God.This is the REAL U2.The great U2.The U2 I fell in love with when I was 16 in 1983.No gimmicks here. Then,it was all about the MUSIC.The 4 of them ,on a small stage. You didnt see Bono dressed up like a Devil,no 50 foot Lemon,no Village People outfits,no 250 foot claw.I paid $15 for my seat, sec 338 MSG,NYC,04.01.85.My how the times have changed.Indeed.

U2 always give a great performance in Boston.I had the pleasure of seeing the band in Boston on St.Patricks Day,03.17.92.That was one of,if not THE best concert I have ever been a part of.This show here the band sound great.ISHFWILF/Stand By Me and the 4 new songs that start the show have alot of fire and passion within them.
Audience:
The fans in Boston are great.Weather it is a RedSox game,or a U2 concert, the fans in Boston are very emotional.Great fans.
Sound quality:
A solid 4.The sounds goes in and out a bit.Has tin in the sound, lack of bass. But its a nice solid recording ,from a very strong show.Play around with your eq.
Overall:
This show,as well as the 2 NY and Chicago shows, are the BEST from the North American tour. That is not a shock, considering the band usually play their best shows in these 3 American cities.UC has a bit of a mistake by the Edge during his solo. That was the only mistake I have heard from the band at this solid gig.UF,NYD,Magnificent and NLOTH are standouts.

This is a very good show by the band. The band settled on this particular set of songs, for the last four shows for the year. Its a very good set.The band seem at ease here, this was a dress rehersal for the big Pasadena show2 days later. They nail a majority of the songs here.A slolid performance in the desert.
Audience:
You cant get a very good feel for them from this recording. They perk up during the hits(MW,BD,Elevation).
Sound quality:
Very good sound.Bonos voice is clear as day.The Edges guitar sounds good. Some tin sound to this bootleg, from the lack of bass.Larrys drums are a bit muffled. But,for an audience bootleg, its very good.
Overall:
I went for this show ,simply because it had a very, very good ratting by U2freak.He is on the money. As I said, for an audience recording, this is very good.BD with the In Gods Country/Fix You snippet is outstanding.Bono is in very talkative mood.Solid show, this show is as good,if not better than the next gig from Pasadena.Top form here from the band.Viva Las Vegas !!

Performance:
The Electric Co.I always loved the Blood Red Sky version that had the Send In The Clowns snippet.Soon after its release at the end of 1983, U2 had to take that snippet out or pay royalties. There is no problem here with that.Thats one of many great things with the boots, all snippets are included. The Ocean follows Electric Co.Then we have a great version of ISHFWILF.BD is played very well. The acoustic version of Stuck In A Moment is a nice addition.Walk On sounds very good, but Wild Horses is a mess.Edge broke a string or two,and stopped playing. So Bono and Adam try to finish it up.
Audience:
You cant hear them.As with most IEM recordings, the audience are silent,as if this is a soundcheck.
Sound quality:
This show is better than a 4,but its not a 4.5 A 4.25 is more like it .Why??Well this is not as good as Sweden or Copenhagen from the summer European tour.Unlike the to aforementioned gigs, this show has the 1,2,3,4 count in,and some hiss and tin.As with most IEM recordings, you have the beat time music. It is very clear, and very annoying.Example,Miracle Drug. When Bono is giving his intro speech, the beat music is playing over Bono.Again,annoying. But if and when you overlook that, this is a nice sounding show. The bass is very clear,as is Edges guitar and background vocals. On BD and Miracle Drug, you can hear Edges vocals as if hes in my backyard singing with me.Its that clear. So, this is a must download if you are a diehard. If not,go with Sweden from 07.29.05.You dont get any count ins,or beat time music with Sweden.
Overall:
This is a solid show.I was a big fan of this tour.I saw the band 4 times on this tour (05.17,05.18,10.07 and 10.16.05).They played so many different songs at each show I was at.The 4 shows I attended also had 4 different songs that ended each show.Unlike the 360 tour.If you only want a couple of recordings from the Vertigo tour,I would advise you to download Sweden gig and Copenhagen show.I like this show, but Im not in love with it as Iam with the Sweden show.Miracle Drug,a song I was very fond of on this tour,is played well, and with alot of passion.Miss Sarajevo.Great intro speech.Great song.Great performance of the classic.SYCMIOYO is fantastic.I love this song.Bonos voice cracks more from emotion than age.The No Regrets snippet is perfect for this song. The intro speech is great.Bono tells us ,his dad used to say to him, when they would sit down together, "Just take off the fucking glasses will ya."......Classic.

This is a Great show. The band are in a great mood here. This show mirrors the next show from Copenhagen. The weather was bad for both shows, but that seems to make the show more energetic.I love the Cant Stand The Rain snippet before Elevation. This gig has 24 songs,a couple of songs over the average for the European leg.NYD sounds great,as does Beautiful Day.The Beatles snippets sound great at this show and were missed when they were cut out of the Vertigo Chicago DVD. Rain at the end of One is fantastic. All Because Of You has nice fire as well.C'mon the Edge!!!
Audience:
You cant really hear them, but that is the fault of the recording, not the audience.

Sound is fantastic for a bootleg recording. It has a bit of tin,but that is not a problem.Bonos voice is very clear,as is the bass.Edges guitar and Larrys drums sound nice as well.I cant believe this is an audience recording. This might be a matrix, but Iam only guessing here. The only slight complaint here is,you simply can not hear the audience, unless the band stops playing. The lead in from AIWIY into COBL sounds a bit odd with very little audience singing along. But,on the other hand, you dont have some drunk singing out of tune over the band. That is a major plus. This is a MUST download.A pleasant find.
Overall:
This boot, with Copenhagen and London (06.18.05 show), are my favorites from the European leg.The shows from Milan are said to be some of the bands best, but the recordings are brutal. The London broadcast is great, but it is not complete (3 tunes were not broadcast).I get a great feel for this show as I listen to it ,again, and again. The political part (LAPOE,SBS,BTBK)is a highlight. As is All I Want Is You as it blends so perfectly in COBL.The Fly is the BEST tune of the night. The intro seems to be a bit longer than the norm here.I love this song. This is a great hard rocking version of the song. Edge really shines here. And you can clearly hear Edge on backing vocals on this whole bootleg. You can enjoy this great show without any annoying audience chatter. The sound is consistant throughout the recording.A MUST HAVE.I can not stress that.I dont know why this bootleg is not in the top,as far as downloads.Iam a very picky bastard when it comes to bootlegs. This one really took me people. You must download this.

Performance:
I was at this show.Section 118, 2nd row behind the stage.I drove down from NYC to see the boys.I was not able to secure tickets to the MSG shows that June, but I got tix to this gig,and the NJ show on 06.22.01.These 2 shows that I went to I loved.Bono is clearly not feeling well here. But he does his best.Edge picks him up alot on the backing vocals(In A Little While). Edge shines on vocals there. .Kite is great.Elevation,BD,Walk On sound fantastic.
Audience:
Loud, very into it.Gloria snippet was great. The fans were chanting beat L.A. for most of the night (the 76ers were in the finals).I have always said,NYC/NJ,Philly,Chicago and Boston (IMO) are the best American audiences.
Sound quality:
Tops.I cant believe how good the sound is.This is a fantastic sounding gig. A + .Thanks for the great momento guys. This sounds like a release.I know alot of people say that, but this really does sound great.Download this show NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall:
A gutsy performance.Bono is sic,but that just adds to the emotion of this show. This show and the NJ gig from 06.22.01 IMO, are the best shows pre 09.11.01.I was at these 2 shows, so yes,Iam a bit biased, but they are fantastic shows.SBS Bono came to the back of the stage, right in front of me, and sang the chorus for a bit.Someone threw the Irish flag at his feet.He smoothed it out on the floor..and sang to the flag.Great moment.Ground Beneath,Kite and Elevation highlights.Cheers.

Solid gig here.Top form.I like this setlist,ISHFWILF,AOL & IALW go well after each other. The band seem confident, and you can hear that in the performance.BD with Blackbird snippet is nice. The 4 new songs that start off the show are played with great energy and emotion.
Audience:
Sound great on this recording.During Magnificent you can really hear them getting worked up.Standout moment for the audience.Notch below Milan,07.07.09
Sound quality:
Nice recording.Bonos voice is very clear, but has an echo to it.The sound of the band is a bit muffled. The bass is present, but at times breaks up.You dont have any annoying, loud, out of tune yelling, on this boot. That is a plus. For an audience bootleg, this is a good listen.I went with the Bedoc version.
Overall:
Highlights : Streets into One sound great here.Fantastic crowd participation.Ultra Violet,Unknown Caller and The Unforgettable Fire are also standouts at this show.

Performance:
Good performance here.Nice setlist.NLOTH has alot of fire to it.Bono telling the audience to get ready for the ride.I deleted this gig after I downloaded it the first time. The sound is very, very low.I gave it a second shot, since it was rated a 4.5.I turned my speakers way up,and gave it a full listen.Im glad I went back to this gig.It was a mistake to delete it the first time. Its a solid show.
Audience:
This bootleg is recorded so low that you can not hear the audience.
Sound quality:
The sound is clear, you can hear the band with no problem,of course that is after turning up the volume to max.It is very, very LOW.When you get past that ,this is a nice sounding boot.I dont know why the last 3 bootlegs from the N.American tour were recorded so low.The sound comes in and out at times,it sort of swims from left to right speaker early in the show. But the clappers are absent here. That is a big plus for me.I hate hearing people yelling on bootlegs.I wont listen to that. This is a nice pleasant listen.
Overall:
The band play a good set here. Its a good solid show. But the best of the tour?I have to disagree with the taper. Both Chicago and Giants Stadium shows are better, and a majority of the Euopean shows as well. But,that is just my opinion. We have NYD,but no Uknown Caller.Your Blue Room, which was added for the American leg, is absent as well.Night one in Chicago has the last appearances of Bad and Pride.I wish Elevation would just go away and get dropped. The new songs need to be promoted now.In A Little While is a nice addition, but the band should add some other new songs like Cedars,Stand Up or Fez.5 songs from ATYCLB is way too much. This isnt 2001.There is nothing speacial about this show IMO.Therefore, this is a nice solid gig,but not one of my top boots from 360.

Performance:
This is a very good show by the band.Breathe sounds very good, and I love the Thomas Jefferson shout outs at the end of Breathe.Bono sounds fired up here.He seems into this show.Beautiful Day sounds great with the Hands That Built America snippet at the end.I love that Your Blue Room has made quite a few appearances on the N.American leg.Blinding Lights and Vertigo get the crowd going.
Audience:
You really cant here the crowd.I turned up the volume to get a taste of them.Sound good, average for a U2 audience.
Sound quality:
This a crisp recording,a nice sounding boot for the most part. You really cant hear the crowd much. That is good. Some audience recordings can be avery annoying ,with fans yelling and trying to sing.My complaints,1.is that it was recorded LOW.I had to really turn up the volume to get a feel for the show. 2.Compared to other shows from this leg (NJ 09.24.09,Landover 09.29.09),this show has a "tin" sound to it.But is very enjoyable, once you ajust your eq for a while. And by the way..whats with the guy saying "Sorry Mark and Richard" before WOWY??????..Too bad the gig isnt as loud as him.
Overall:
Good show.Good crowd.Very good performance.Very good sounding bootleg. The last few shows seem to lack the intensity of Chicago,Boston and of course NY/NJ.I think U2 have always liked playing all over America, but playing in some parts, just doesnt have the fire of other cities. The band are in very good form,no mistakes, unlike night 2 Paris 07.12.09.Unknown Caller appears to have been dropped!?!?.Your Blue Rooom and NYD are thankfully played to add some juice to this gig.SBS is getting really boring live.I know its a classic, but its so played out. They should play it,but only here and there, like NYD.WOWY is played well..but ruined by the Mark & Richard thing before the tune.

Performance:
The band come out banging here on a rainy night in Dublin.I really like this show. Its like the old saying goes,a great beginning makes for a great ending. It has a feel for Ireland. The weather, and the shout outs of the different Irish cities at the start of Magnificent.Breathe,NLOTH,Boots,Beautiful Day.Bono is really going the extra mile here.Screaming his ass off .I love the "No Rain!!No Rain!!!" at the end of BD.Very fired up.Love it.Bonos best quote..."Its like a big Irish wedding."
Audience:
Well, this recording shows off the fans. You can hear them,at times too much. But ,they really sound into it.As they should be, for their favorite sons.
Sound quality:
I went with the Ballerusk's version. Its very good, but Bonos voice is a bit low.And you can hear the crowd OVER the band..quite a bit at times.Just turn the sound up,play with your eq and it is fine. The band played great this night ,so,deal with the loud clappers.
Overall:
The version of City Of Blinding Lights (with the Rain snippet) is great. Then it leads into maybe the hardest version of Vertigo on the tour. The Thunderstruck snippet is appropriate for the rainy evening. The encore is fantastic.Like I said at the start.....a great beginning makes for a great ending.

Good show here from the band. Some mistakes here and there. The middle of Magnificent,Stuck In A Moment Edge hits the wrong chord,a couple of times.Ouch.Middle of Walk On is messed up as well. But bedides the few gaffs, this is a solid gig. Beautiful Day (with the Here Comes The Sun snippet) is great.Bono and the band are in a loose mood here,as is the case most of the time when the band play a second night in the same city.Bono is very chatty. His best line..."Hope you like our spacestation, you paid for it."Its also funny, when Bono is doing his alien or Mork impression before MOS.
Audience:
Based on this recording, its hard to get a good feel for the crowd. They get up for the hits and sing along in the usual spots, Beautiful Day,Mysterious Ways,ISHFWILF,etc.Good solid crowd. If the band (God forbid) actually released this show Im sure you would be able to get a better feel for the audience.
Sound quality:
The is a great upgrade from the Miles and Bedoc recordings. The sound is a bit low,and has a bit of tin to it.It sounds like it might be a soundboard.Edges background vocals are very clear.Adams bass sounds great (WOWY).The end of side one fades out,and side 2 fades in.Gives it a very professional feel. But you cant give this a 5.An actual release or an FM broadcast is a 5.But, whether this is an audience recording , soundboard , ALD or IEM,its up there with Barcelona 1.You dont have ANY audience chatter like some audience recordings. This is a MUST have from the summer tour. This now after the upgrade,is clearly the best sounding boot from Europe, maybe even the whole tour.
Overall:
Good performance from the band.Good crowd.Great sounding boot. The new songs are played with alot of energy.Beautiful Day/Here Comes The Sun,UF,Unknown Caller,ISHFWILF are standouts. The more I listen to this show, the more I like it.The mistakes withstanding, this is a solid show. I cant belive how good the sound is.If you turn up your volume, this could almost pass for a release. And Iam very picky about saying that.DL this gig now.

Great show.I saw the high rating here and jumped on it.I like the opening with Vertigo, but I dont need to hear the same song twice at one show.I was so glad to see the Boy songs for this tour.Electric Co here sounds great.IWF sounds solid, but it is so played out.Sories For Boys would have been a nice return as well.Blinding Lights in the middle works here.I always preferred the song as an opener, but this works after a great All I Want Is You.
Audience:
They sound good.Obviously it rained at this show with all the snippets, but that didnt seem to dampen thier spirit. Its Irish weather to quote Bono.
Sound quality:
Sound is great.Bonos voice is up front.A little bit of tin is here, but not much.I played this song alongside Rome(07.23.05).Rome is muddy and flat sounding compared to this boot, and they have the same rating. This is much sharper sounding.
Overall:
Love this show. From the opening riff of Vertigo,to the closing riff of Vertigo, this is a rocking show in the rain, in beautiful Denmark.Highlights are the Vertigo songs and Electric Co,ISHFWILF,NYD,Zoo and The Fly.

Performance:
Band sound good. This is a bit of short set.The average is 23 tunes, sometimes 24 (09.23.09).On this night in Landover it was 22.NLOTH was not played for the first time on the tour.Unknown Caller is also missing, but has missed a few shows here and there.I would have thought the band would have played 24 songs,or at least the average amount, being that they had not performed a full show in 5 days. But this is a very good show.Breathe is there leading off,Magnificent sounds great as usual, as does Boots.Your Blue Room was played, so I wouldnt have really been too upset by the short set.NYDis also pulled out and played well.
Audience:
Sound good, but the recording doesnt do them justice.
Sound quality:
Very, very nice job here.Bono is very clear. The bands instruments sound fine in the backdrop. The sound is good.Almost as good as night 2 Giants Stadium (09.24.09) and Chicago night 1 (09.12.09).But not quite.A solid 4.The only bad thing, the aforementioned shows were better. But this is worth a listen.A keeper IMO.
Overall:
22 solid tunes.Your Blue Room,UF,NYD,MLK,Walk On,Streets,Magnificent are standouts.Download it now.Cheers.

Performance:
The 2 gigs the band played in London are fantastic.Bono seems very ..into...the show. Its hard to explain.I have seen the band live many times since the 80's,but you can tell when he's "into" the show.At this show he is very excited and even oversinging at times.NLOTH he sounds like he cant control himself.Bono thanks London for being there for the band in the early days. Some cities bring out the best in this band.Ireland,Amsterdam,London,Spain,NYC,Chicago,Boston.This is one of them.
Audience:
You can hear them, but this recording does not do the Brits justice. The European fans are very pasionate and intense.ISHFWILF is amazing.
Sound quality:
I listened to this show right after Chicago,09.12.09.This show is very loud. But not in a good way.Bonos voice has alot of echo in it.The band is muffled, muddy. Its a good boot, but the recording is too loud. But worth it to have.Chris Voynets recording is very good.Night 2 is a bit better from him.He did great for both shows.Manys thanks Chris.
Overall:
I have always liked the bands shows in London. The Wembley shows from Zooropa come to mind.Bono said, in the early days of the band, they would go to London with something to prove.I think they still feel that way in a sense.Magnificent,NLOTH,Stuck In A Moment, and of course UF are standouts.

Performance:
I was at this show,my only Popmart show for this tour.On previous tours, I would see the band on numerous occasions.Traveling to see them and all.But Pop lost me as a diehard fan.The CD is weak,as was Zooropa.Zooropa wasnt even toured in the U.S.The PoP songs sound better live.Miami,MOFO,Please, and were great here.I didnt get,or like this whole silly extravaganza.I mean,a 40 foot LEMON?!?!.The most ridiculous part of the show was when the band actually emerged from that thing.Dressed like the Village People!?!?.Then played Discotheque.I cringe thinking about it.The whole idea was foolish. In 10 years my favorite band went from the top of the world,to a joke.Larry Mullen even said he would never do anything like that again.Amen
Audience:
The audience was good.Unlike previous tours when the crowd would go crazy during songs. That was not the case here.I looked all around me and everyone was kinda like..huh?????I think we were all kinda in shock at the whole event. And yes, this was an EVENT,not a rock concert.
Sound quality:
Its very, very good.Little bit of tin/trebble.This has to be a soundboard, not an audience. The sound of the music, is better than the music itself.
Overall:
Well,as I said,I was down on the band at this point.Thank God they woke up and went back to basics for Elevation. They also went back into arena's for the Elevation AND Vertigo tours. The 360 tour reminds me a little bit of this Pop madness.Just a little. The stadium was NOT sold out,nor were the other 2 nights at Giants stadium.I didnt bother buying tix for the other 2 nights.Thats shocking for me,I saw the band 10 times on ZooTV,10 times on Joshua, and 4 times on UF tour. From 1993 -1998,this was the lowpoint of the bands career.IMO,Bono doesnt have to dress up like the Devil,or one of The Village People to sing a song.I know it was about poking fun, but it was an embarrassment to the band.

Performance:
I waited over 6 months for this night. It was a fantastic show. The claw upclose is something to see.I thought the stage would spin around, but 360 is for your visual sight.Unless one of the claws blocks your view. The video screens looked great. When I saw that the band played Your Blue Room in Chicago and Boston, I prayed that on one of the 2 nights at Giants Stadium ,the band whould play it.They did.I love that song.Alot of people in my section had no clue what song it was,I felt like it was a song for the diehards only. Then, Beautiful Day was played and the place went nuts. The played out hits(Mysterious Ways,Elevation,Vertigo) went over well. The setlist was split up with old and new tunes .NLOTH was played 10th.Like most of us,I knew the setlist in and out, they mixed it up much on this night. Shes The One/Desire was great, for Bruce's 60th b-day, Bono sang Hes The One.ISHFWILF was the usual singalong. As was Elevation. The band were no nonsense. The next night they seemed to have more fun. But, I liked this show alot better.TUF and Your Blue Room were my standout songs for the night.
Audience:
My section,104 row 15,behind the stage to the left, was wild.Very vocal, alot of Guinness was had by all.We were all very into the show. The sound was great as well.I enjoyed the spaceship 360 stage.Amazing effects did not take away from the music.
Sound quality:
Bonos voice very clear. The rest of the band is blended in very nicely.Overall sound is a little low. Some tin sounding, but not much.Drums sound good, little flat but not bad.I dont think this boot tops Chicago 1,or night 2 in NJ.Its a bit below. If you turn up the volume a notch you can really enjoy the gig. This is a great momento for me.
Overall:
I loved this show."The Manhattan skylin,The City Of Blinding Lights".Bonos great quote.Nothing like seeing the band band here.Your Blue Room was great. The spacestation sequence during this song was very well done.NLOTH sounded fantastic.I was happy the old classic NYD was played, even though Adam butchered it, while Bono was introducing him.Kinda a funny moment, the band get lost, and Bono calls from the Edge to solo.Im glad they have played it only here and there, and not every night.Ultra Violet, well done.I liked the red microphone.Bono was swinging on it and almost crashed into Edge.My only regret was not hearing Bad either night. As I have mentioned many times over,MOS is a weak song to close a great show with.Alot of fans walked out during the song.IMO All I want Is You or Bad or....ANY classic would be better fitting to close the gig.But the crowd was great for me,we loved it,great seats, great band, and of course, in the great Metropolitan area NY/NJ. See you in 2010.Cheers !!!!!

Great show.First night in North America. We are not used to being second fiddle to U2s tours.I cant remember the last time the band didnt open a tour here, but thats ok.The band obviously fine tuned themselves well in Europe. This show is almost flawless.Unknow Caller has a mishap towards the end of Edges solo.Besides that ,I didnt here anything else out of place.Magnificent sounds great. As do all the new songs live. I like One followed by Bad. Pride was played, and so far this is the only appearance of the old classic on the N.American leg, as of this date.Far Far Away (Irish Boy) sounds beautiful. This intro is a great lead in to Beautiful Day.Nice acoustic of Stuck In A Moment ,with great backing vocals from Edge.
Audience:
Its Chicago,sound fired up.
Sound quality:
I went with Prof_Peabody.It was rated a 4,but has been upgraded correctly as a 4.5.This is a very solid audience recording.I just played it alongside E.Rutherford NJ 09.24.09,and London 08.15.09.London is the loudest, but has too much bass. This show is a perfect blend of vocals and the bands intruments.I think this show edges out (no pun intended) NJ from the 24th by a hair. Both shows are great sounding, but this one is perfect.
Overall:
Great fun show.Reminds me of night 2 in NJ.I like all the Chicago shout outs. The fans at this show were blessed to hear Bad after One to end the main set.Elevation ( a song Iam so sick of) goes over well.ISHFWILF has a great heartfelt intro by Bono. They sound rested and fresh. After a nearly 3 week layoff Bonos voice is in fine form. The band and audience feed off each other. That was the case here.A great opening of the North American leg.

The band sound very, very good. The first 4 songs are new,and flawless. The new tunes sound better live,as was the case with PoP.The intro to Beautiful Day is wonderful. They have since dropped the intro on the N.American tour.ISHFWILF,TUF,Pride,Bloody Sunday,MLK,Stay,NYD,Bad,One,Streets.Ultra Violet,WOWY.12 old and 12 new tunes.Half the show has alot of nice classics .Thats what you want.
Audience:
They sound very good.Very enthusiastic and motivated.
Sound quality:
This is a great sounding boot.I went with the 4.5.The bass is very loud and upfront. It tends to drown out the rest of the band. But if you ajust your eq,then Bonos vocals are up front and blend in with the music. If you can lower the bass a bit,it will sound perfect.I think this will surpass Dublin 3 and Berlin,as far as the sound IMO for audience recordings.I have listened to this show 2 times so far, then put on the aforementioned gigs, and this show sounds better.
Overall:
A very good find.We have One then Bad to end the first set.I wish they would have stuck to ending the sets with those 2 classics. Each U2 show has 3 or 4 different tunes, usuallly from the 6 to 9 slots on the setlist. This shows has NYD,Until...,and Stay.I like those 3 here.NYD,I know is very played out,I know. But its a classic and has only been pulled out only a few times on the tour. The other 20 tracks are standards in the set.Pride has a mistake at the end.The band seemed to have finished the song, and Larry started drumming again.A slight flub. This show is a very nice addition to my bootleg collection.Cheers.

Giants Stadium night 2.I was at both shows,I have to say night 1 was a bit better. This show seemed to have a more of a fun feel to it.Night 1 more serious.Bono was joking alot with the crowd. He let us know Mick Jagger and Mayor Bloomberg were in the house.Thats why we have all the Stones snippets.Mysterious Ways 3rd.For once I had no clue what they were going to play...at least for the first half.
Audience:
Very good, alot of families at this show in comparison to the first night.I brought my family to this show,so I guess I got that right.Night 1 was more rowdy and boisterous.I refer to both shows as night one - The Guinness Show (I had many),and night two - The Poland Spring Show (I needed alot from the night before).
Sound quality:
Very very good.Bonos voice is loud and clear. The rest of the band sound very good on here as well..Little tin..just a bit..but this is by far the BEST of the N.American shows so far.
Overall:
I really enjoyed this show.MUSE were great both nights opening for the boys.I liked the fact the band mixed up the set. They played alot of the same songs, but the beginning of the show actually had me guessing.Once the band got to TUF it was exactly the same as the night before. And no Bad.That was a bit of a bummer. The only lowlight is ending the show with MOS.Seriously, half of Giants Stadium left during the song,on BOTH nights. The band should end the show with ANYTHING other than that song.I think an encore of One,WOWY and All I Want Is You would be fantastic.Anyway..my family and I had a great time.Ultra Violet and Stay(even though Bono was all over the place with the lyrics), were my highlights..loved the show guys....Cheers.

I was at this show.I can not describe the feeling. One month had passed since that day we all know of.The band did a great job here.Kite,Bad and Streets were amazing. The audience were spot on.MSG is an amazing place to see a concert, but after 09.11.01, this was U2s first show in my great city...there was not a dry eye in the house. As Bono has said many times over,"the 3 shows at MSG after 9.11,were our BEST"Enough said.
Audience:
Amazing.
Sound quality:
A solid 4.Some clapping, alot of tin,its a good bootleg.I wish the band would release the 3 shows (10.24,25 and 27.01) they played at MSG after 09.11.01.These 3 shows were the BEST ever by the band.
Overall:
I'am biased. I admit that. The night was a healing,pray,cry,laugh,sing..and cry again for us New Yorkers.But......if you were there, as I was,you would say the same. The SPIRIT, and EMOTION,of U2 at their best.Amazing.

This is a classic show from Elevation.11 O'Clock Tick Tock !?!?..WOW.Edge screws up the intro to the song after Bono introduces it ,as their first single. They stop..and start again.Bono is laughing at Edge..He then says ok..this is our second single...but they start up Tick Tock again.Out Of Control follows. This show and the next are some of the most loose, fun shows the band did on the tour.Discotheque makes a very rare showing (with Staring At The Sun ending the tune).I cant stand that song, but I really like this funcky live version.Very good version.I like a bit of PoP tossed in.Very different show from this tour.A MUST HAVE.
Audience:
Solid as usual in Chicago.
Sound quality:
Very very good... For audience recordings, this is up there with Chicago 05.16 and 06.22. 01 shows.

Yes.I have been saying over and over to open a show with Magnificent.Finally.IMO this is the best song on the new cd and its a great show opener. The fans are up for it.Magnificent flows right into NLOTH.We get a few treets here. This sellist is very similar to Chicago night 2.The main difference is the opening with Magnificent. The band play Your Blue Room here.Sounds nice with the snippets of Frank chatting in and out of the song, gives it the spaced out feel. Stay,Until....,TUF.I like Beautiful Day later in the set,as it is here.I wish Breathe was played instead of Elevation.Im just sick of that tune now.Solid show here.I feel alot of energy from the band. With the setlist changed this sparked them. They should do this more often.
Audience:
They sound good.Bono refers to Boston alot ,to get them up.
Sound quality:
A solid 31/2.I almost didnt bother to dl this show because of the low sound quality rating. This show sounds very good. The rating is too low for this show.Bonos voice is very clear.Edges guitar is clear as well. The bass is full,Larrys drums are a bit muffled but sound ok.I was able to listen to this show with no problem.Stay sounds great.Edges acoustic is clear. No fans yelling over the music,a plus.On Boots, the sound fades in and out alot. The boot has a typical tin sound but if you ajust your bass it will sound good.
Overall:
Performance of the band is top.The sound is good.Stay,a classic from Zooropa, is played greatly.Your Blue Room sounds better,Until..has a rockin bang to it.Ultra Violet, despite Bonos opening flub of the lyrics,is its usual great, smack to your head ,screaming my head off version.Love that song.Download this show, its well worth it.Im blasting it now getting ready for night 1 at Giants stadium this evening.Cheers.

Performance:
Night 1 in Dublin.I had this show eyed from the time the tour dates were anounced. This show and night 3 are 2 great shows. The second night doesnt have a good clear version of the show. The Aud Triangle is beautiful. It adds to the feel and spirit of the show being in Ireland.I enjoy this setlist more with One in the early part of the show, like the Zoo TV tour setlist.Thats a sign that Bad will be played to end the main set.Any show when you have Bad and One performed its going to be a great night. As is the case here.
Audience:
You can hear them. They are singing great, and in the right places. Its Ireland right. They are great. They sound better than night 3 but this might be from the recording.Only negative is this one guy here and there, yelling and trying to sing very loudly over the music.
Sound quality:
I downloaded the Megaupload version.Weeks ago,I downloaded the Mediafire version and it sounded bad.A tin, weak sound. This version from mega is much better.Bonos voice is clear,so is the Edges voice. The bass and drums are a bit distant sounding, more in the back. This booteleg is also loud.Sounded great on my system. This one guy, there is always one,at the end of Bad,is singing of course, way out of tune, and over the band.Made me cringe and lower the volume quickly.Hes brutal. But this is a VERY GOOD sounding audience recording.I love it.
Overall:
Great show.Very good audience.Good sound.I didnt hear any mistakes so far on this boot. Not like night 3 when the Edge messes up the middle of Breathe.Bad is great.Alot of passion at the end.Fool To Cry snippet is nice.One.Until The End..TUF.Ultra Violet has a great version here.Bono screaming his head off.Love it.

This is a very solid show.We older U2 fans get some treets here.An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart,The Electric Co and Party Girl.I like the way the band mixed in the old with the new.Im not big with playing Vertigo twice!?!?Once is fine.I,like most, have the DVD of this show.On May 9th the band ended the show with 40.That would have fit in great here.
Audience:
Solid. But seemed at bit at a loss at times. Some fans in the ring didnt seem to know the Boy songs.A shame.
Sound quality:
Not good.Get the audio rip that combines the 9th and 10th.This bootleg version gave me a headache.Im serious.I have the DVD rip of this show.Too bad Party Girl was left off.A very good looking blonde was brought on stage during Party Girl. She played the acoustic.Bono seems a bit nervous by her.Maybe Ali was there????BUT 40 was added instead of Vertigo a second time. Its Bonos 45th b-day here, and the band are having some fun with him.
Overall:
A very solid show. The Boy songs with the new songs. The Party Girl blonde and it being Bonos b-day make this a fun gig. But,the sound is dreadful on the bootleg. As I said, download the DVD rip so you can fully enjoy a great night.

Performance:
The tour opens with a BANG.The band obviously are fired up .The usual opening night nerves (Vegas 97) dont turn up .Any nerves they use to turn out a great show.Breathe into No Line sound great.Bono is so excited singing No Line that he seems out of breath. Not from being 49,but from digging deep down.Hes giving it his all here.Magnificent ,Angel and In A Little While are done very, very well.I like the Man In The Mirror snippet at the end of Angel.Bono should have kept that going longer.I dont care for the Dont Stop snippet. We have TUF back after 20 years. This is the best, most energetic version from this tour so far.Chatting to the crew from the space station is a gas.Reminds me of the ZooTV classic tour.Great show.
Audience:
The fans here and in Italy are the best.Im from NYC and I admit this.Hands down.I just wish we had an actual release of this show so we could really hear how great these fans are.
Sound quality:
I have downloaded and deleted quite a few versions of this gig.I just upgraded using the Edomondo version. It is hands down the best version of this show. The sound is very good. You can enjoy a great show from the boys.
Overall:
The band are on here, the fans are great.I would have given this show a 5,but One is a mess. The crowd are so loud that they messed up Bono here. They were singing the chrous too soon.Bono lost his place. Its actually funny. The fans are so loud they messed up the band!!!.Amazing.They make up for it with a GREAT version of Ultra Violet.WOW!!!Another classic that the band havent played since 1993.This show is worth your time.Great show.Cheers.

Performance:
Great show.I have the cd of this show from the fanclub. Its one of only 2 shows (ZooTV Sydney being the other ) U2 have released on cd and is available from the fanclub only. This is a GREAT show.NYD,Out Of Control and of course Kite are standouts here.Bonos dad had just died a couple of weeks before this show. You can see from the DVD how emotional Bono is singing Kite. The whole show is fantastic.I only wonder why they waited 2 years after the show was recorded to release it ?
Audience:
The audience on the cd and dvd are great.
Sound quality:
I downloaded this bootleg to see what it would sound like. Its brutal.I deleted it from my computer immediately.I have the double live cd of this show and the DVD.I would advise you if you dont have the cd released version you should try and get a copy off ebay.I see the live cd on there for sale alot.Or try to rip the audio from the DVD.
Overall:
My rating here is of the shows I have on DVD and cd.The standout songs are : Kite,NYD,Out Of Control,Walk On,One,All I want Is You.Very emotional show. The band put on a great show on their home turf. The performance and audience are great.Only the shows after 9/11 at Notre Dame and MSG in October beat this.Lows of the bootleg:Everything. The sound from this bootleg is brutal. All I could hear was people yelling over the muddled music in the background. It almost sounded as if the recording is of the audience and NOT the band.It is a shame because this is a great show.Get the DVD and rip it to audio.

Performance:
The band have mixed things up at bit here. The first night was a bit of a letdown for me.The setlist hasnt really changed much from Europe. But,on this night the band pull out a very rare song,Your Blue Room.I was shocked to see they finally played this tune.I like this version, very well done. Its good to see the band are taking some chances here, and NOT playing it safe. The song leads well into Unknown Caller.Until The End Of The World is another song the band only played a couple of times in Europe.I think when a band plays a song for the first time and goes well, it gives the show a good vibe.Stay, one of my favorite songs EVER by this great band is ALSO here.Plus TUF.This is a show your must have.
Audience:
Chicago,Soldier Field.Im sure they were great on night 2.With this sellist ,they better have been..
Sound quality:
I had the 3.5 bootleg by ademotte.I just upgraded with the 4.5.Way better.Bonos voice is clear.Alot of tin with the overal sound, but it is a good upgrade. The audience is very loud on this version.AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.As with the 4.0 bootleg,in between songs you hear very loud yelling, conversations and shouts that are louder than the band..Towards the end of UTEOTW you can clearly hear a girl laughing and talking.Annoying to say the least.
Overall:
Im still very pleased The Unforgettable Fire was finally brought back after 20 yrs for this tour. This is a great show, by a great band, in a great city.Amazing Grace lead into Streets sends chills.Reminds me of the Boston gig,06.06.01 with 40 melting into Streets with the fans chantin how long.Very nice touch.Ultra Violet,WOWY are also standouts.Cant wait for both nights at Giants Stadium.Cheers.

Performance:
I was at this show 17 yrs ago and STILL remember alot of it.Me and a buddy drove up from NYC to see the band from Dublin on St Patricks Day at the old Boston Garden. What could be better. The band was on fire, better than the MSG show and Yankee stadium shows I saw after this gig in NYC.The best part for me was when Edge walked out to the small stage, in the center of the Garden and sang Van Diemans Land.Classic moment to a classic show.
Audience:
Great..everyone was drinking Guinness and having a great time.No fights, loud singing..One of the best .
Sound quality:
Not bad.Very muddy.Considering its from so long ago,and we were all so intoxicated,Ill take it.
Overall:
This was a fantastic show.I just wish the band would release classic shows like this. The only downfall,is the sound. And thats a big downfall. The band, and all of us in the audience ,were blasted.Alot of Guinness was had.A great trip from NYC.I love this show and still remember it all these years later.Dirty Old Town,Van Diemans Land (OMG!!!) and Bad were the highlights of this brilliant gig in Beantown.

This was a good show from the Zoo TV tour. Not great.I went to quite a few shows from this tour(10), and this one pales in comparison to Boston Garden on St Particks Day at the old Garden,MSG NYC 03.20.92, and the two shows the band did at Yankee stadium. At some shows, the band would perform Ultra Violet as a part of the encore. The word was, if the band didnt feel the vibe from the audience, they didnt play it.I dont know how true that was, but the song was not played this night, and was played the night before.I remember this show being..kinda quick..the show was well under the average 2 hour gig.WLCTT is a bit of a mess.NYD is also all over the place. The band didnt seem "into it" to me.I was in the GA at this show, and the boys didnt say much,at other shows Bono was more talkative.
Audience:
Audience was good. Not one of the better audiences that I have been a part of.........better at Yankee Stadium the following week.
Sound quality:
This Matrix boot sounds great.I downloaded it not really expecting much.I saw the rating so I gave it a shot.It sounds like a soundboard. You have the vocals up front, the instruments right there..it really sounds great.
Overall:
I was at this show 17 yrs ago, so I really like having this gig.I obviously didnt remember alot from so long ago,but I remember Larry walking out from around his drums and saying this is his band and all..funny moment.I dont remember the mistakes,I just remeber the show was short. Thanks for this momento from a great tour.TTTYAATW is the song of the gig.

Performance:
Great show here from the boys.Miami is of course played. They ,for some reason, dropped this tune around the midpoint of the tour..then picked it up for a few performances towards the end of the tour.Like all of the PoP tunes, they sound so much better live.Miami is an example.
Audience:
You can not hear a peep.IMO it doesnt take away from the gig. But,does sound odd not hearing a thing before, during and after songs.
Sound quality:
Flawless.THIS sounds like a release with the audience way down. One of my favorites from the North American tour.Vocals,Drums bass and guitar are perfect.
Overall:
This show I will give a 5.Great setlist ,with Miami-Bullet The Blue Sky-Please-Streets order at the end of the set.Discotheque sounds very good.I hate the studio version of that song.To me ,it was a low point for the band. But live it is a bit more rocking.HMTMKMKM is a song I wish the band would play today.MOFO is another. These 2 songs would fit great in todays 360 setlist instead of the HITS..Pride,Vertigo,Sunday,Beautiful,WOWY.Anyway..this is a great boot..get it...you will love it...Cheers!!!

Performance:
The band, at least Adam and Edge, sound on,getting it going with Elevation. You cant hear Bono and Larrys drums sound like he is playing on cardboards.
Audience:
Cant hear them at all.
Sound quality:
5 STARS???????????????I cant believe the write up on the sound. The quote "the sound of this bootleg is so exceptional".???????You cant hear Bono..His voice is muffled under the bass and guitar.Larry drums sound like they are not miked up.Exceptional sounding boots from this tour are :10-10-01,10-25-01,05-16-01 and 05-03-01.
Overall:
Very put off by this one.The person who wrote that info in th additional info area gave Adams earpiece 5 stars and the audience recording 5 stars. This recording is NOT GOOD.Again..you cant hear Bono or Larry on the skins...Yes..I deleted this one after trying to listen to it..just brutal. I love this site..but some of the sound quality ratings are way off.

I can only rate Bono, cause I could not hear anyone else.He gets a 4.Larrys drums sound like they were recorded in the parking lot.You cant hear Adams bass AT ALL.
Audience:
You cant hear them at ALL..not a peep from the Earpiece recording.
Sound quality:
Maybe a 3.You hear Bono fine..his voice is loud and clear.Only plroblem is THATS ALL you can hear.NYD,you cant hear Adam....You can hear the 1234 count in..then sounds like a 1 audience recording with Bonos voice loud and clear.Sounds..strange.I deleted this boot from my comp after listening to half the show..waiting for the sound to improve,it didnt.I dont know how anyone can say this is a good boot. The SOUND of Chicago 05/16/01 is way better,so is the setlist from that gig as well.
Overall:
Well you cant hear anyone but Bono.I have many boots from this tour..and ALL of them sound better.I wanted a good sounding boot from Europe,I will stick with Slane 09-01-01.

Performance:
U2 always sound great in Italy.Every tour some of their best shows are perfomed there. The first night was amazing, and so is this show. The audience,as usual in Italy, are great.ISHFWILF is a fantastic singalong..the fans of course keep the song going strong.Magnificent,No Line, and the surprise Electrical Storm are great.Stuck In A Moment.... acoustic...is a fine addition.
Audience:
Great..but a notch below the previous nights audience. They always sing loud and in the right places.
Sound quality:
A solid 4..a very good audience recording. I enjoy blasting this one.
Overall:
I like the setlist alot here.I give this show an extra half star for that.Electrical Storm makes a rare showing. They played this track night 2 in Barcelona, and again here on night 2.But the song was played only one more time on the European leg.Great show..the crowd, the tunes and the band make for one great show.Only lows are the few loud shouts from a fan close by.It sounds as if hes grabbing the mic and yelling....but overal its a great boot.

The band are in top form here.I was at this show with my wife a month after out twins were born in May.This is a very emotional show for me.My twins were born premature and did fine.My wife and I celebrated the health of our children at this gig. They came home the day after this show. This brings back all the positive memories of that time in our life.My wife calls this show the twins show. I was also very pleased that they added a couple of songs. The Ground Beneath Her Feet is a really good song .I couldnt understand why they didnt play this one more on the Elevation tour.We get I believe the ONLY live version of Wild Honey, another very good song.D.Lanois joined the band for these 2 songs. He seems to get the band fired up.They lifted their performance for him,and all the notable celebs in the house.I give this show a 5,for the performance and obvious emotional reasons.
Audience:
Audience was great.I was impressed.NJ usually isnt as loud as NY- MSG.But on this night they were great. My section sang Wild Honey word for word..good and loud.
Sound quality:
This is a great find.I had a bad audience recording from this show.I thought this might be the same version or similar. Its not.It sounds great. One of the best sounding audience recordings I have ever heard.
Overall:
One of the best shows from the first leg...and actually the whole tour.Hamish Hamilton even said the NY shows were better than Boston on the dvd Live From Boston.I dont know if he meant just the MSG shows or this show as well from NJ.All I can say is they were fantastic here......one of the best shows I have seen from them, and I have seen the band many, many times live.Loved it..for all the RIGHT reasons......Cheers.

Performance:
The band sound better than night one.I downloaded this show for the setlist.Electrical Storm,Crazy Tonight cd version. This version of Crazy is great.I hope its just a European thing, playing the remix. The cd version of the song is great.I wonder why they didnt play Electrical Storm on theVertigo tour??..This version of ES is very good, but the one from Milan is a bit better.
Audience:
The Spanish are great at live gigs. They rank right up there with the Italians. On this version, you cant really get a feel for them. They sound almost reserved here.Bono has to TELL them to "sing it !! " at the start of Magnificent to get them going. The Spanish usually dont need to be encouraged to sing. But by Bloody Sunday they are singing nice and loud.
Sound quality:
Its ok.They sound is muddled, not very clear.Like I said,I went for this show for the 2 songs I wrote about. You can listen to it so..its not too bad.
Overall:
I give it a 4.Sound is ok.The highs : Electrical Storm ( I think they have dropped the song now) and the REAL version of Crazy Tonight. Not that disco dance floor version....Lows : The sound of the bootleg. It could be better.

The band is having fun here. Its a crisp show. The band always warm up in the USA in the spring,THEN go to Europe for the summer stadiums when they are all in tune. Each show sounds better.Beautiful Day/Here Comes The Sun,Mysterious Ways, I Still Havent...Angel....Stay...great setlist here. The Unforgettable Fire..WOW!!!!I saw the band in 1985 on this tour.Im so HAPPY that they brought this CLASSIC tune back.TY
Audience:
You can hear them but, they are not half as wild as the Italians or Spanish.
Sound quality:
Its not a 5.NO audience recording is a 5.This,for an audience bootleg is very very good.I downloaded both versions to compare. For me,the WB version is much more clear.I played Magnificent from both sources and the remaster sounded flat and muddy. The wb is very clear.Bonos vocals are right up front. So,obviously I would strongly advise you to download the wb version. Its right there with Dublin 3, its just lacking bass.
Overall:
Highs : The band sound great here.No Line,Magnificent, best version of Beautiful Day.Here Comes The Sun snipet is great. The new songs live are really sounding good. Lows : IMO Breathe really isnt a good song to open with.As an encore fine, its a good song. But to open EVERY show with Breathe ?? How about opening with No Line one night, the next night open with Magnificent .They are the strongest songs from the new cd and they pack a great punch.Listen to the crowd in Milan (07-07-09) going wild during Magnificent. As an opener that would be something to see and hear.I hope they mix it up both nights at Giants stadium...cheers.

Performance:
The band sound very good. The first 4 songs are really played well.Magnificent sounds great. The Italians are singing word for word,as if English is their language. The band are enjoying playing the new songs. Its nice to hear In A Little While,Party GirI and Angel.I think they need to break up their shows more.Play Streets one night, then play Pride the next, etc, etc etc. But,this show is a fantastic one.You can feel the energy, the new songs really sound great here.Better than the sudio versions,IMO.
Audience:
The Italian fans are great.MAGNIFICENT.I wish they would have released the shows from the Vertigo tour (07-20 & 21 -05).The 10 songs we got on the dvd from Milan made me want more.Great fans.
Sound quality:
Its good for an audience recording.I think the show from Dublin on 07-27-09 sounds better. This show is a little muffled in places. The sound goes in and out.But I was able to listen to the whole show and enjoy it.The drums sometimes sound..distant.Bonos vocals are clear,as is Edges guitar and Adams bass. This show IMO, as far as sound is right behind Dublin 3.
Overall:
Magnificent.Hearing the fans sing word for word...amazing.The Italians and Spainish fans are the loudest every tour. The band mix up the setlist a bit here.Nice.In A Little While,Angel and Party Girl. The crowd sing very loud during the ENTIRE SHOW.I Go Crazy is well done..good mix...and I dont like the techno mix..but it sounds great here.Pride and Magnificent are amazing band - crowd participation. If you have Dublin nite 3 and Sheffield..you need this one as well...LOW : Bono going on and on and on about the G8 before One..Bono..WE love you but SHUT UP an sing.....Please....Im POSITIVE ,that none of the audience wanted to be bitched at by, as you say "a rock star",about their Prime Minister. But as I have said..its a great great show..just skip the Bono speeches........Cheers !!

Very energetic..band is into it..as they should be playing in Dublin. The new songs sound fresh,Boots,NLOTH,UC .TUF I think is THE song of the tour so far. They havent played it since the 1989 Lovetown tour,so it has been a pleasant surprise.Edge really messes up Breathe. He hits a couple of wrong notes and it sounds way off there for a moment..During NYD,Bono sings the "newspaper says its true" line 2 times. But NYD sounds very good, and has alot of punch to it.Even with the 2 miscues there, this is a fantastic performance.A great homecoming.ISHFWILF..has alot of energy and passion.
Audience:
Great.People from all over the world.Bono seems pleased at all the flags from different nations, seeing U2 in Dublin. He seems humbled by this.Great audience.
Sound quality:
As far as an audience bootleg, this is AS GOOD AS IT GETS.I try to stay away from these, cause the sound most of the time is not good.But..this sounds very good, nobody is screaming over the music..the cheers are in the right spots.Bonos voice is very, very clear.(Sheffield of course is the best so far, being that it was broadcast by the BBC).This show is the best audience on this tour hands down.
Overall:
I love this show. The bootleg sounds great.Doesnt even feel like a bootleg.A great recording,of U2 in a great city.Grab this forthwith......Highlights are many..UF,Stay,NYD,UV,All the new songs..great show. The lowlights..there are none IMO.The band break up the setlist a bit on this one..adding Bad,NYD,Stay..great setlist..better than the BBC Broadcast from Sheffield.Im seeing the band both nights at Giants stadium 09/23 & 09/24..cant wait..cheers

Performance:
I was at this show 24 years ago.The performance was great on this night. The Unforgettable Fire songs you want from this gig.Bono sounds almost nervous here.In a good way.Wire (I have always loved this song) is played with alot of passion.Bono is screaming his head off. To this day I remember getting goose bumps when Bad started.Bad is over 18 min long and is worth checking out this show.
Audience:
You cant really hear them to well..but they were fired up.
Sound quality:
Just makes it for a 3 1/2.Sound is..ok..if you play this one of a good system..it will clearly sound like a bootleg.
Overall:
Highlight Wire,Bad,ASOH,MLK &TUF and a great version of The Electric Co. I would listen to this gig more often if the sound was better.Lowlights : The sound. It sounds..ok.You can listen to it..but the sound at times goes in and out. The cuts annoy me.But hey..Bad is here in all its glory.

Performance:
This show and the next one (12.20.87)were filmed by Phil Janou for the Rattle & Hum film.A few of the tracks from the 20th are in it.Some say the band seemed tight at these 2 gigs..they seem loose to me here on the 19th.The Joshua Tree Tour started in Tempe in April, and ended the tour there in December. The standout tracks here are I Still Havent, Mothers Of The Disappeared,Out Of Control and a classic version of With Or Without You.This version sounds identical to the version from the next night that was used in the film.I loved this whole tour and time from the band.I was lucky enough to catch the band many times on this tour.I live in NYC,so I can say IMO that some of the bands best shows were MSG.But,this show at Tempe, and the next one,are great shows that ended the tour.
Audience:
You cant hear the audience much cause its a soundboard. From the clips that I have seen over the years, crowd was great both nights.
Sound quality:
This boot is solid. It doesnt have the live feel of Chicago 04.29.87.It has a steril sound to it.Not a great soundboard.Streets sounds great, I Will Follow then sounds like an audience recording. Then, I Still Havent..sounds better again...strange.MOTD is performed greatly.Thats really the reason to go for this gig.R&H and Paris 87 have great clear released versions of most of the songs here, besides MOTD.
Overall:
A solid 4..lowlights :the last 2 tracks..People Get Ready and 40..sound like they were recorded from the parking lot.The artwork for this show does not mention these 2 songs..maybe they are from another show??..Bad is cut,it fades out....highlights Mothers Of The Disappeared.Fantastic version. They should have played this great song more often. The spanish verses are so moving, adding more emotion to an already emotionally charged tune. This whole show is a great trip back to 1987for me..cheers.

One of the best shows from the tour.I would put this maybe..fourth.Behind Sarajevo,Santiago and Leeds.Bonos voice, unlike Sarajevo,is in fantastic form.New Years Day,the classic tune sounds great and fresh. His voice on this one ,makes it one of its best recordings .MOFO and ALL of the POP tunes sound great live.
Audience:
They are going wild.
Sound quality:
Mint.

Sarajevo is THE show from this tour.I give Mexico a solid 4 1/2.Highlights are the POP songs,Bloody Sunday and the great version of New Years Day.

Audience:
You cant hear them.I think they are in shock.
Sound quality:
Sound is flawless..too bad the band werent.

Performance:
This was really U2s big moment.I still remember seeing all the U2 flags there, waving round in the audience. The band were supposed to play 3 tunes,Pride was not played of course.Bad seemed to just go on and on.The band lost sight of Bono for a while,as he was trying to get into the audience. There was much confusion on the stage.
Bono was a bit put off afterwards. He said he almost left the band,he thought he had "blown it" cause of his antics.Edge was allegedly furious with him.I remember saying to myself.."what the hell is he doin"?.The band were shocked at the great reviews from Live Aid.Still a great moment.
Audience:
First rate..Live Aid 1985...CLASSIC.
Sound quality:
Very good for 1985......clear
Overall:
It is not complete..Bad is cut before the 13th min.I remember the tv going to commercial..I was like..NO!!..I still havent heard the full version of Bad from this show.Bad is still EPIC here.

Performance:
Fantastic. One of the bands best shows, ever.I just wish we had the whole show here. The setlist seems a bit short, and we dont get ASOH,or UF or Wire. That is a shame.I would have loved to have had a great live version of Wire from this tour.Bad is the standout. What a great version.Very similar to the WAIA release, that was recorded 2 weeks before in England.
Audience:
Sound very into it.Great audience.
Sound quality:
This is one of THE BEST sounding boots I have ever heard.Sounds as good as a release.Adams bass has so much life.October sounds perfect.Get this now.
Overall:
I can not say enough about this great show.Only 10 songs, but they are some of the best sounds you will hear.I loved this period of the band.I was lucky enough to see the band 5 times in 1985.Bad was always the song we waited for, this show has a great version, granted not an epic 14 min version, but still great. This is U2 at their best.

Performance:
I was at this gig by the band back in 1986.I loved it,I thought it was the passing of the tourch as they say, of one great band to another. The Police got together for this tour, but it was clearly U2s night.I believe Sting said its their time now.I always play MLK before Pride in my live and studio mixes. They actually played it in that order here. Both sound great, but Bad stole the show here, as it did at Live Aid.
Audience:
As I said,I was at this show so I know the audience was great.Iam biased but,the NY/NJ shows are usually the bands best.
Sound quality:
Great..for a broadcast from 1986.Has a little static but..it sounds great.
Overall:
I loved being at this show.Seeing U2 and the Police was a once in a lifetime event. The bootleg here sounds great.Brings back the memories of that night from so long ago.Cheers.

Great show here.Indian Summer Sky LIVE!!!!.I saw the band at MSG in NYC on 04.01.85 on this tour,I loved this period of the band. This is a great show..Bono is clearly into the show..Wire is a standout here and of course 40.IWF sounds tremendous.
Audience:
Soundboard..if you really try to listen you can hear the screams.
Sound quality:
I have had this show for well over 15 yrs.The sound was pretty good.I decided to see if this version is any better. This version blew my old one away. The sound is much more clear, more bass..(see 40)....and louder ,but not in a bad way.
Overall:
I give this show a 4 1/2..only because Electric Co fades out at the end,and Bad is cut at the start of the tune..its a great upgrade from the version I had.A great Unforgettable Fire show...what more could you want???.. Well maybe the show from 04.01.85(NYC) sounding as good as this one....or 11.21.84(Dortmond) complete ...anyway.....Cheers.

Performance:
This is a great show.I love the performance of The Unforgettable Fire songs the most.I have many boots, by the band and this one is the best sound from the tour.I also like Nantes (its complete),but this show the band seem more energetic.Wire is FANTASTIC.The Electric Co/Amazing Grace is great. The X Mas/ Feed The World snippet is classic at the end of 40!!!!!!
Audience:
What you can hear they are into it.
Sound quality:
This is a soundboard from early 1985..its not a 5..just a notch below that.IMO it is better sounding than Nantes.Better than a 4.
Overall:
Great sound.I dont understand why this is listed as a 4 ??..This much better sounding than Nantes and Bologna. Those shows are rated much better.Just listen to how clear this gig is.Wire, is the standout song,on this boot, and for the tour, with Bad of course.I would have given this a 5, but it is missing the first 3 songs.

Performance:
The band is very into this show. They sound great and..actually they mixed up the setlist here.I was shocked to see this.I love the Zoo TV type setlist. For some reason they usually dont mix things up,but they did here and its a plus.Sweetest Thing,ISHFWILF..acoustic!.Bono introduces the song saying this is a b side.Great version.Very loose show by the band.Kite is great as always.
Audience:
Chicago fans are very good. Some of the bands best shows in the USA are here and also NYC and Boston.
Sound quality:
This a great sounding boot.4 2/3,a hair under 5 star.Im impressed with it.Early on,you can clearly hear a female fan talking and getting excited..but she calms down and goes away..Kite sounds great.Bonos acoustic sounds as if hes playing inside my living room..its a great sounding show..
Overall:
The show/setlist are great. The band dont mix the setlists up enough.I wish this show was released..the band are having so much fun here..see Bloody Sunday ,Bono actually laughs a few times during the song.....yes..BONO.....Even Better,One and The Fly (early in the set)..Kite,NY of course...Sweetest Thing sounds fantastic.A rare treat..ISHFWILF Acoustic, are you shitting me??!!Fantastic.....great show. One of the BEST gigs from the tour.

I love this show.As we all know, this show was released on DVD,not cd of course.I have had a dvd ripped audio copy of the show, since it came out.The dvd version, for some unknown reason, is missing One,MW,Pride and People Get Ready.(Stay was recorded on the 5th). This show has alot of energy.I could never understand the negative reviews about this show. You have,IMO, as a longtime, diehard U2 fan, some great, great versions of songs here.BTBK is sick, fucking very intense.I love this version. The whole Mark Chapman thing is fantastic." I can feel the cold steel","John,War is over,we dont need your help,America's making war on itself.!!!!!!"....This version leaves me numb. Bad is moving, with the crowd singing 40 at the end. Then you have, bar none ,the GREATEST version of Streets...(up there with Tempe from '87)..I get chills from this version."What can I give back to God,for the blessings, Hes poured on me"Leaves me speechless. You also have a fantastic versions of The Fly,and WOWY.Bonos voice cracking all over it,love it.I love this whole show,I feel it.I just wish it was complete, and released as a cd.
Audience:
They seem pretty into it on the dvd.
Sound quality:
Well..I wanted this version because the dvd is cut.The sound isnt even close to the audio rip of the DVD..I kept the 4 songs that were left out of the dvd rip, so I have the whole show finally..waited 8 frigging years.
Overall:
It sounds like a bootleg, because it is.But this show is a great one.Just rip the audio from the DVD,and blast Bullet The Blue Sky as loud as you possibly can.I just wish U2 would release all live shows,as Pearl Jam do.If you want another intense U2 gig from 2001,grab 10.25.01 NYC,AND 10.10.01 from Notre Dame..cheers.

Performance:
Very good show early into the tour.Discotheque sounds great..I always liked that song live..the studio version was brutal.
Audience:
What you can hear..they sound into it..the soundboard cuts them off.
Sound quality:
The sound is very good. What you have here is Bonos vocals very clear and above the music.I wish the music itself could have been a bit louder. The bass does sound very good in spots. The tic,tic tic gets to be a bit much. This is not 5 stars. The best sounding bootleg on here from Elevation is the broadcast from South Bend and a close second is 10.25.01 from NYC..This show SOUNDS like a really good EARPIECE recording. But if you are a big fan like most of us that use this site ,you will take it and run as I did.
Overall:
The thing I like best, is that U2 actually play a few different tunes on this night.Discotheque,Sweetest Thing and Ground Beneath.I dont know why they were not a part of the setlist more often.. great songs..and the main reason I went for this show. For some reason the band do not release live material on cd.......strange for such a great live band.......enjoy this..........I have.

Performance:
The band sound good here .This show was recorded on Bonos 41st birthday so the band are having some fun.The setlist is pretty standard for the first leg of the tour.
Audience:
From what I can hear, they sound like a good audience at a U2 show. But the audience at this show cant compare to the South Bend fans from the same state.
Sound quality:
I downloaded this show because it was rated 5 stars. Not quite. It sounds good..but..it sounds like a bootleg.5 stars is not easy. The South Bend show on 10.10.01 and the MSG show 0n 10.25.01..those 2 shows are 5 stars..and actually sound like a release..thats how good they sound. This show is good but not EVEN CLOSE of 5 stars.
Overall:
A solid show from the 1st leg of the Elevation tour.Nothing really to get worked up about. Its Bonos birthday so that adds a bit of dash to the show. But ,I cant get excited about this show, because the sound isnt too good.Actually, after hearing how good some of the other boots were from this tour (10-10,10-25,05-03,05-15 and 16) I deleted it from my comp.Sorry.

Performance:
Very emotional show, reminds me of the 3 MSG shows later on in the month. This show is one of the ONLY times on the tour the band elected to open with Beautiful Day.Its a great version of the song.Bono shouts out the heart is a bloom line a few times..then sings it..This show and the 3 from MSG were the best on the last leg of the tour...and maybe the whole tour.
Audience:
I know friends that were there and said it was amazing. The Joyce Center is on the campus grounds so it was filled with students that were fired up.
Sound quality:
I had an older version of this show that was very good. This copy is way better..bass,Bonos voice,Edges guitar..sounds great.Big improvement.
Overall:
Great show. The band asked members of the NYPD (1st pct) to come up on stage and stand with the band as they played Walk On..thats why the song goes on for a few extra min..great moment. This show is the FIRST show in the USA after 9/11...need I say more.......upgrade if you have this..and if you dont download it now.

Performance:
The band sound good..but not like they did at MSG or the Notre Dame shows. The good thing here is they actually played a couple of different songs.I love this band since 1983,but they play the same songs 99.9 % of the time.In Gods Country makes a very rare showing, and this is a clear version of Please.
Audience:
Earpiece recording so you cant hear them.
Sound quality:
I cant see how people are saying this is a 5 star sound. Its got a tin sound, there is zero bass..its sounds ok because the vocals are very clear. But,the vocals drown out the music and audience.Elevation sounds flat because there is no bass at all..the music is low then Bonos voice comes in loud. And the tic, tic, tic bothers me.
Overall:
As I said, the sound isnt too great but the setlist is a bit different so..I like this show but I wish it sounded better..If you download Notre Dame10/10/01,MSG 10.25.01 or the cleveland show 05.03.01 you will see a huge difference.

The band sound great,as does Bonos voice.
Audience:
The broadcast kind of takes the audience sound out...but Im sure they were into it.
Sound quality:
As with most radio broadcasts the sound is fantastic. The only negative is Mysterious Ways. The sound is way off..I guess this song was not a part of the broadcast.
Overall:
Highlights :Show is great..I love the Singing In The Rain tune Edge sings.MOFO great version.Miami is great..they didnt play this song enough on this tour. The Pop songs sound much better live as a whole..I even like the version Discotheque here..and I hate that song....One/Rain fantastic ........Lowlights:Sound of Mysterious Ways Anyway..great show thanks

Performance:
Bono starts to loose his voice early in the show.By NYD his voice is shot.He cant even attempt the chorus of Pride..but..for some reason this adds to this classic show. This show bleeds of passion. The Edge pics up for Bono alot, you can hear Edge clearly singing the chorus for Pride. He really showed me alot here..the band are very into it and despite Bonos vocal problems, the band sound great.
Audience:
Sarajevo..1997..classic
Sound quality:
The sound is great.
Overall:
The highlights are the whole show.Simply one of the most inspired performances by the band..and yes..Bono. Despite his vocal problems ,I love the passion and intensity he shows here.....Great classic show.

Performance:
The band are clearly into it..alot of energy. My first, and so far only, U2 gig in Europe.I like the opening with Vertigo.I dont think they should have also closed with it,but the songs go over. But,for some reason I like the second version more than the first one.One is glorious here.
Audience:
Cant hear them (us) but..its England and they were going wild and drinkin lots of Bass ale.I had a fantastic time...
Sound quality:
Broadcast over the BBC is great, only downfall is the 3 songs,NYD,Electric Co,Beautiful day sound like crap in the mix of the broadcast..skip the 3 songs. For whatever reason,I guess those 3 were not a part of the broadcast.A shame,as this is really a great show, but incomplete.
Overall:
Its great..I would give it a 5 but..the 3 missing songs make me take off a notch. This is a MUST download. This is from a BBC broadcast so as I have said,it sounds fantastic.BTBS into RTSS are great.U2 in London is always great. The shows in England sound like the band are still tryin to prove themselves there.
I like when Bono says thank you to the British troops for all they are doing overseas in Iraq.Great show.A must have.Sweden and Copenhagen have an edge (no pun). They are complete and have a bit more energy.IMO.

The band sound great,Bono is into it..his voice is a bit rough but he sounds good and the band is tight. This is the second to last gig of the Euro tour so they are on.Breathe,NLOTH,Magnificent,UC,MOS sound fantastic.Walk On sounds great.Im glad they brought this one back.MLK,UF sounds fantastic.Pride has the audience in a near frenzy.3 tunes off UF,who can complain?
Audience:
Cant really hear the audience..but I have seen a few VIDEO clips of this show and they were going wild.
Sound quality:
Fantastic..its a bbc broadcast so it sounds like a release. You can even hear edges vocals clearly..drums and bass are clear..a great broadcast..they (the bbc)didnt cut out any songs like they did from the London gig that the bbc broadcast on 06.18.05.This is a great show........I downloaded the remaster, sounds even better. For me,this is a release.
Overall:
Highlights : Whole show.Sound is great,I like the setlist.New songs sound better LIVE.I would like to hear White As Snow,Cedars, and Fez from the NEW disc.Too bad Electrical Storm wasnt played this night.Very solid show.UF and UV are my personal highlights, with Walk On AND One.ISHFWILF is great, love the Movin On Up snippet. A top gig from Europe, and a nice taste of the European tour.

This is night 2 of the epic 3 night stand by the band at MSG one month after 9/11.I was at the first show on the 24th,the band seem bit more relaxed at this show.Kite,Bad,Streets,One and of course New York & Walk On are some of the best and emotional versions you will hear. An epic,3 night stand that, under the terrible circumstances, will NEVER BE TOPPED.
Audience:
NYC...very emotional crowd..one month after 9/11...that says it all.
Sound quality:
I have many u2 boots..this sounds amazing..sounds like an actual release.
Overall:
Great, very ,very ,VERY,emotional show.Listen to this gig alone,in a quiet place, and hear the emotion, and tell me you are not moved. If you arent, you dont have a heart. We ,New Yorkers, just lost 3000 Americans. We were hurt, tired, and not in a good emotional state of mind.U2 lifted our spirits.Helped us HEAL.This is U2 at there best.Their finest hour.A MUST HAVE.
