Performance:
Great idea to start off in the hectic and atmospheric city of Dundee.
As ever, starting with Gloria makes the crowd warm-up their legs to get ready for an hour and a half of constant jumping to the wonderful magic of U2 songs. The show starts off magnificently with Gloria, leading into I Threw A Brick and A Day Without Me (two songs which always flowed well together). A couple of songs later, Sunday Bloody Sunday arrives, with the roar that the crowd produce at every U2 concert, as soon as the song starts. We have an excellent performance of Tomorrow, which I thought was perfect, and maybe one of the best versions of it ever. This was also the concert with a couple of songs debuted: Two Hearts and Seconds, which were very well done considering the debut. After that, there wasn't anything that appealed to me, but the encore revived the ending. Like A Song was played, and this concert marks it as the only time it was ever played. It was magnificent, and probably because this is the only time it has ever been performed, but that makes it nostalgic. It is a right shame that they never played it after this. And 40, which is debuted as well, was a superb end to quite a special show.
Audience:
Very surprising, as Dundee is a city which isn't exactly clean or quiet. It is a city full of aggro, and is loud. I thought they were a little bit dim.
Sound quality:
Nothing to shout about.
Overall:
Really good performance, the audience disappointed and the sound was mediocre. 3.5/5.

Performance:
It's generally good performance by the band, but there is just things that are a tad lackluster. There wasn't that much variation on ZooTV, so the band were used to playing the same songs over and over - so that was all fine. Bono's voice was a bit like a weird rollercoaster. It started off great, but got quite bad as the show went on. But, towards the end, his voice started to improve. Zoo Station was great, and so was Love is Blindness - but that's a personal opinion, of course.
Great to hear Larry singing Wild Rover, and Adam making a surprise vocal apperance too.
Audience:
Very fucking annoying. This bootleg was recorded in an area in the stadium where there were complete asshats, there being: arguments, talking over the recording... It was mainly during 'Bad' when everyone was talking and arguing over the recording. It completely ruined the song. And that being one of U2's best songs, was just frustrating. Those people should be bloody hung for ruining it.
If I were to ignore those people around the recording, I'd probably say this rating was fair anyway.
Sound quality:
I pretty much agree with the rating that was given to the bootleg already. 4 stars.
Overall:
Decent performance of the show, but this is nothing special, because there are other greater ZooTV shows out there. It had its moment (fight in Bad, especially), and ups and downs, but this is what I'm giving it.

- Adam's surprise vocal apperance

Performance:
Very enjoyable bootleg to listen to. This had a such a hype for one main reason. Even Better Than The Real Thing makes it's tour debut, not only that, starts the fecking show! Furthermore, it is the best opener out of the 5 songs that have opened 360° Tour so far.
Unfortunately, this bootleg did suffer from some mistakes. More than there usually should be:
- At the end of Get On Your Boots, Larry joins in too late with the drums and it then becomes a tad out of sync.
- The Edge makes a small mistake before the bridge in Mysterious Ways
- Big mistake in Elevation at the 2nd verse after the chorus. The Edge plays the chorus for too long, and then presumably forgets to turn the pedal off going into the verse
- The Edge makes an unexpected key change in the middle of North Star which slightly confuses things. Although, it recovered quite well
- Bit of a mess-up at the start of Walk On with the guitar
- The Edge makes a tiny mistake at the start of Streets but it's made for and the performance is really good.
Yeah, there was alot of mistakes, but alot of great points too:
- Space Oddity going into Even Better Than The Real Thing
- The whole of Even Better Than The Real Thing (even Bono's singing is really good)
- I Will Follow is brilliant
- Bono's singing in Miss Sarajevo
- Great HMTMKMKM (even though some lyrics are missed out by Bono)
Epic show, even if the mistakes were there. But I can't give the show 4.5 or 5. I just can't. Too many mistakes give it it's rating.
Audience:
The crowd are really good throughout the gig, although they are slightly quiet at points. They do make up for it a lot of the time though. Impressive crowd.
- They were excellent in Elevation
- They gave U2 a great reception when they came onto perform Even Better Than The Real Thing
- Loud cheer during I Will Follow. You could hear them going nuts.
- Extremely loud during Vertigo.
Sound quality:
I personally think Macphisto's recording is about 4 stars.
Overall:
All really explained above, but...

Performance:
It was really good. I thought the show was a bit short, and also thought the setlist was a bit lackluster but the performance was what it was all about, and it was fine. There was some bits to pick that were downsides. A few mistakes here and there, but of course, this was the first gig of the European leg.
Something to point out - Bono goes mental at someone in the crowd for causing trouble. Quite funny, to be honest.
Audience:
They were disappointing to start off with. Sunday Bloody Sunday showed some potential from them, as they started to improve. It was towards the end of the show that they started to shine. Pride was particularly impressive, but not as impressive as 40. The "how long to sing this song" was amazing. So loud.
Sound quality:
It was OK. I really could've given this a lower rating but it just got this.
Overall:
Good show. Poor setlist. Impressive audience in some songs, but particularly towards the end, mediocre sound.

Performance:
It was a decent show. Right at the start of the ZooTV Tour. Still were a lot of mistakes in these new songs. Even in some songs from back in the day.
Bullet the Blue Sky was quite lackluster. It might have been the sound that might it difficult to actually hear it, but it sounded quite bad. Until the End of the World was awesome.
Audience:
Going crazy for them. Great.
As Matt mentioned, there was a guy before Streets going "Desire, Desire, I bet they go into Desire", which I found quite funny. Before Desire came on, he was chanting "Desire!", then it eventually came on, and he went "I told you it'd be Desire!". Ah, funny.
Sound quality:
Sound was awful. Zoo Station was extremely muffled and difficult to hear. Sometimes, the sound drowned out and then you could barely hear it. At some points, the sound was listenable which is important.
Overall:
Good, early performance, great audience, terrible sound.

Performance:
Decent performance. Do not at all agree with 'patou2' about it being 5 stars. It was pretty dull in some bits. I found it a particularly boring bootleg but it did have it's moments of course. Like, right at the start of the show, for example, when Larry started with Gloria when they were going to start with Out of Control. The crowd cheered when Larry played that Gloria drumbeat, but Out of Control got played as the opener to the gig.
I'd recommend the next Melbourne gig to this. Wire starts and has a much better setlist, in my opinion.
Audience:
Wow, lighten up a bit. They were quite boring. The crowd were heard at points though, so 3 stars it is.
Sound quality:
Drowned out sound. 3 stars may be a little optimistic, but that's what I feel it should deserve.
Overall:
It's nothing special, but 4 stars for being a performance is good enough. As explained before, go for the Melbourne gig after this one. Much better.

Performance:
EXCELLENT. I absoutely loved this. One of the best shows of 360°, if not THE best, but definitely the best show of Leg 1, just ahead of Sheffield.
Stand By Me was brilliant! I always love Stand By Me in a bootleg, sounds great when U2 play it. Party Girl (this was dedicated especially to Bono's daughter, Eve (who is a tasty girl by the way)) was exceptionally good. Ultraviolet - brilliant, better than Barcelona 1.
Audience:
Not 5 stars in my opinion. They were awesome, yeah, but I wouldn't give them 5 stars. Maybe a little more effort by the Italian crowd.
Sound quality:
Alysha - you legend. Sound was amazing.

All really explained up there, but what a bootleg to listen to. Thoroughly recommended. One of the few U2 bootlegs that have actually made it into my iTunes library.

Performance:
I'd say it was great for an opening night. Confusion in some songs, also mistakes. Understandable for a first night. Unknown Caller was pretty much messed up. Mainly in the solo. The Edge was lost. As Matt said in his review, One is a disaster, and Pride is well... boring is another way to put it.
No Line on the Horizon was excellent, as was The Unforgettable Fire and Ultraviolet.
Audience:
I really liked the audience in this show. Especially in No Line on the Horizon at the "oh-oh-oh-oh" bit. They are exceptional at that bit.
Sound quality:
Only listened to the audience recording, which was pretty self-explanatory in it's rating.
Overall:
For a opening night, it was really good to listen to. The performance did shape up in further performances, very quickly infact. The audience were great, like I would expect from a Spanish crowd.

Performance:
Absoutely brilliant. Loved every moment of it. These Saitama concerts were something special for Vertigo. It made the bad performances of Vertigo look like complete shit.
This had one of the best performances of Desire. Miss Sarajevo was surprisingly great for once (even though I don't think it's a particularly good song live). One Tree Hill was, as ever, great. All I Want Is You finished off a fantastic show.
Audience:
Good Japanese crowd. Not as crazy as I thought they'd go.

Outstanding.
Overall:
Loved the performance so much, and the sound, that I had to give it 5 stars overall. The audience was good, but not brilliant. But still, I'm giving it 5 stars.

Performance:
It was the setlist that made me download this bootleg. What a magnificent setlist it is. Wire starts a show, which was epic to hear, but it isn't actually that good an opener. But it is better than 11 O' Clock Tick Tock as an opener. The setlist is basically a War Tour setlist with TUF songs added to it.
To the performance, it was a great show to listen to. They executed the set so well, it was just brilliant. There was some jitters in Party Girl, so therefore, no 5 star. Certainly the best TUF Leg 1 show out there. Best setlist & performance
Audience:
Was expecting them to be better, but yeah, were still pretty good.
Sound quality:
The sound was pretty dreadful. It sounded like it had been edited and someone has speeded it up so therefore, it makes Bono's voice sound rather high-pitched. At least you could hear the band, that's really what is important.
Overall:
Performance was excellent, audience weren't there all the time, sound was poor... and that's why it gets 3.5 stars. Respectable score. I would only really listen to this for it's setlist and performance, that's why I did.

Performance:
This bad boy features a Bad which has a length of 18 and a bit minutes. There is only only word for it - epic. On other areas, they weren't as good as the lengthy Bad, but still were great. There was a few mistakes in the show, and that's why it doesn't get 5 stars. Shame, because I would have really liked this to be flawless and have given it 5 stars.
Audience:
Really good audience. Had some quiet moments, but ah, 4 stars is respectable enough.

Audience:
They weren't that good at the start, but they improved massively.

Performance:
Edge's birthday. Great performance. First Out of Control in 2 years and of the JT Tour. All that really needs to be said about this show.
Audience:
They were loud, singing along but there was ONE thing that was really annoying me while listening to it. There was these girls screaming, and it was annoying me and interupting the recording.
Also, at the end of "40" when they are singing the "how long to sing this song" part, it sounded really girly. No sexism intended, but it just sounded really annoying.

Performance:
There's a reason why I listened to this show. I was reading U2 by U2 and I quote straight from it - "Then in the middle of making this album we play Slane Castle with Thin Lizzy, the biggest open-air gig in Ireland, and we decide to play the new songs that we're working on that we've never played before. But not only that, we decide to play them first. We walk onto the song "Tomorrow", with uillean pipes playing - and we were shite. We failed spectacularly."
Now, this quote from Bono was quite accurate. Although, I never even heard Tomorrow in the bootleg. The new songs were not at all spectacular, nevermind good! I Threw A Brick was like Bono was rambling lyrics out of his arse, With A Shout is a terrible opener and Gloria was just absoutely shocking. It was all over the shop. Some of the Boy songs weren't performed particularly that good either. They were under-rehearsed because they were too busy creating October. It was like Bono had forgetten the lyrics to the Boy songs, which is mysterious since he only performed them at least 2-3 months before.
I'm giving it 3 stars because of the entertainment it brings. It was good gig to listen to, but it's not for them.
Also, Into the Heart wasn't in the bootleg. And some parts of songs were missing. In the likes of The Electric Co.
Audience:
Really good. U2 got them pumping for Thin Lizzy. They also knew some of the songs too.
Sound quality:
Not very good. Not that listenable at points. But you can hear Bono's words so that's why it's given it's rating.
Overall:
It's all been explained in the rest of the sections, but to summarise, not very good in the performance area, the crowd were pretty good, but the sound was poor.

It was brilliant.
Audience:
Singing, cheering, chanting. They had it, but could have been a bit more powerful.

Audience:
The audience were chanting alot, singing along. The best bit for them was Sunday Bloody Sunday. The massive roar that the crowd gave was mega.

So, a show in my hometown for Popmart. I was born, but I was only 2 and-a-half years old.
This show was quite enjoyable, I must say. Maybe because I was thinking "this was only recorded 10 minutes down the road". The band delivered a great performance to the Edinburgers and it deserves it's 4 stars for performance.
Audience:
Weren't too good at the start, but then started to light up and towards the end half of the set, they done a good job which gave them, in my opinion, 3.5 stars.
Sound quality:
It isn't 3 stars at all, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Sound was clearer than I expected.

Performance:
Really good on the main set. The 1st encore was great too, especially With or Without You. But when it got to the 2nd encore, it got real bad. There was a problem at the start of Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me then another problem at the end of Mysterious Ways. It sounded like on the second encore that Bono couldn't be bothered anymore. He had some weird quotes throughout the show - "Shine that fucking light at me"?
I was going to give it 4.5 stars but the 2nd encore annoyed me because of it's performance.
Audience:
They were missing in this bootleg. They were slightly noticeable sometimes, like at the end of Pride with the "oh oh oh oh". At other points, you could hear them. But you just couldn't hear the audience at all. I suspect it was the recording that drowned the audience sound to a minimum level.
Sound quality:
It was OK sound, enough to listen to the bootleg.

Really good performance by the band. Australia was where they seemed to perform best on Popmart.
Mofo & Last Night on Earth were great in this bootleg.
Oh, and off-topic, but this was the only arena show of Popmart. No olive!
Audience:
They had their moments. There was an annoying woman that kept singing really badly. At least she was enjoying herself.
The audience were pretty quiet alot, so 3 stars is fair I think.
Sound quality:
I didn't listen to the MP3 on this site. I downloaded the "Wake Up Dead Perth" lossless version from U2torrents.
I'd give it 3 stars.
Overall:
Great performance by the four. The audience were quite disappointing. The sound was OK, but that's maybe because it was lossless and not lossy.

Performance:
This was almost flawless. Bullet, Please and Streets kind of let down the performance a bit. Nevertheless, AWESOME performance. Best HMTMKMKM I've ever heard from Popmart (maybe even ever). Also the best version of Desire from Popmart.
This is also quite a Hutchence driven show. Bono mentions him alot since it was where Hutchence was from and all.
Additionally, during the show, the lemon malfunctions while Bono is saying "lemon breakdown!"
Audience:
They seemed to go quite crazy on HMTMKMKM. The audience were better towards the end of the set, rather at the start.
Sound quality:
I listened to the FLAC of the show, but it would probably be 3 stars if it was lossy. Yeah, definitely listenable.
Overall:

I WAS orginally going to give this bootleg 4 stars but decided in the end to change it to a 4.5 star. Great gig in the Netherlands. Mofo and Discotheque are two songs which were diamonds in this show. There was any big problem to report. There was an odd mistake, maybe from Bono but it was pretty fine.
Audience:
I don't know why the rest are shouting out 5 star. There is NO way that the audience were 5 star. Listen to Santiago or Leeds for 5 star audiences, not here. 4 star maximum.
Sound quality:
Really good sound. Was thinking of giving it a 4.5 star but decided against it.

Performance:
Bono's voice was pure awful in this bootleg. I also think the rest of the band weren't on form either. The Edge had a couple of 'off' moments. Adam is usually hard to tell and I don't even know about Larry.
There wasn't really any good performance about this bootleg but I gave it 2.5 stars in the performance section because it could have been worse and I would hate to rate a Popmart show REALLY low.
Audience:
IEM. Could barely hear them. But I bet they were actually into it.
Sound quality:
5 stars for the SOUND quality - yes. But the IEM made it sound terrible. There was alot of glitches in this IEM. During 'I Will Follow', at the end, all of a sudden, you could only hear Adam's bass. Must have a been a channel failure or something like that.
Overall:
Very disappointing bootleg. Performance was really low. The lowest Popmart show I've awarded since San Diego. The audience were really quiet because of the IEM, so that has to be marked low. The sound was ultimately good but the IEM marks it down, heavily.

Performance:
I wouldn't award it as better than Turin but it was still a great show. A return of New Year's Day, but it was to be a disappointing one. It obviously wasn't rehearsed thoroughly. But nonetheless, really good 360 show.
Audience:
No offence to the Germans out there, but you're audiences are never really spectacular to me.
Sound quality:
Pretty decent sound. Deserves a 4-star, definitely.
Overall:
Really good show, nowhere as good as the opening leg show, Turin. New Year's Day was a let down, but it was really the only let down in the show.

Performance:
It was a really good performance I thought. I was happy to hear Zooropa, Babyface and I Will Follow for the first time at ZooTV in one show. I thought they were all performed well. Zooropa should have stayed in the setlist but the band just couldn't play it live as they said. Gotta say though, loved the MacPhisto bit.
Audience:
They were good, not good enough though.

Was reasonable enough to listen to. Could hear every word, that's good.

Performance:
So first East Rutherford show. Wasn't too impressive, I was strongly expecting alot from this. 3.5 stars seems plenty. Mistakes came a several points. Please was quite a disaster. But otherwise, it was a good performance with mistakes and a bad performance. That sums it up really.
Audience:
They were there about 75% of the time but those other times, it was like a lightbulb switched off.
Sound quality:
There is NO WAY this is an audience. It's an IEM and it seems like Edge's. This was rewarded a 5-star, how!? 4 star seems realistic enough.

Good bootleg. Performance was good, audience were alright, sound was quite unrealistic though. Still listenable though.

Great performance in Glasgow. It's so subliminal. U2 were so pumped up for this concert and they delivered it. The Barrowlands is a dodgy venue but it's a great venue. Has great acoustics as well.

I've never understood the audiences in Chicago, they are never 5 star. Always 4 star. Still alright but they need to step up their game a little bit.
Sound quality:
Alright sound. I could hear it. Problem in the first 2 songs, there was like a radio screech going on which was irritating. It was 4 star for the rest of the show but because of that high-pitched screech, nope.

This was the day Bono's father passed away. He sounds very emotional during this concert. He flew from Dublin to London just to do this concert. What a man.
The performance was breathtaking in a way. He says during the concert "he's no longer ill, he's free". Gone was the highlight in this concert, just superb.

Performance:
Start of 360 again. Could have been earlier but of course, Bono hurt his back and the North American leg was cancelled. This makes Bono more energetic. After seeing videos, when he got on that stage, he went nuts.
There was a new intro to 360 called 'Return of the Stringray Guitar'. Brilliant intro. Then it went into Beautiful Day. This bit was rather disappointing as they didn't merge Stringray into BD. Later on, the band debuted 2 new songs - Glastonbury and North Star. When hearing them in rehearsals coming upto Turin, I was rather disappointed with these songs. But after much more listening of these songs, I really like them now. Elevation and Until the End of the World were epic. Miss Sarajevo made a return which was really good - especially the Pavarotti part that Bono sings. In A Little While is boring and should be dropped. Then after this, the set got back to the previous two legs - TUF, COBL, Vertigo, Crazy, SBS, MLK, Walk On. Crazy had a fantastic Disotheque snippet. Discotheque is definately a song which should be played for 360. Then it was the Desmond Tutu speech, One and Streets. Streets was so much better than it was in the previous two legs, maybe because of Edge's apperance with Muse at Glastonbury? Now it was time to wait for the encore, wondering if U2 would play Ultraviolet as well as HMTMKMKM. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me came on with The Joker saying "What time is it in the world?" repeatedly until he said SHOWTIME! This performance of HMTMKMKM was epic, much better than the Popmart version. Then it was WOWY and MOS to end the show.
Overall, a brilliant performance. They are back, touring again which is great. Makes the time go by. Great way to come back.
Audience:
Italian audiences are great, this one were a little off what I was expecting, but still great.
Sound quality:
Would have loved a 5-star sound bootleg. Unfortunately, you can't get 1,000 5-star bootlegs.

Performance:
This was an EXCELLENT show. Loving the The Fly, EBTTRT and Mysterious Ways coming in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Reminds me of ZooTV all over again.
Not a mistake in this bootleg, not at all. Elevation really does show U2's dominance in live music and how they can attract thousands upon thousands to their concerts.
As for the songs, the ATYCLB material was brilliant in this bootleg. Especially the rare material like EBTTRT was good.
Audience:
Really good. But I've never felt Chicago audiences excellent, ever. This can be evident in the Vertigo 2005: Chicago DVD. I've listened to about 3 or 4 Chicago shows and I struggle to get it further above 4 stars.

Performance:
You can't really go wrong with an early U2 performance. They were so energetic in that day. I feel I could easily over-rate this so I'm gonna have to give it this rating. It's brilliant to find a 4-star bootleg from almost 30 years ago. It's also a shame that there isn't all the Boy Tour shows available, which is, of course, understandable. It was 1980-1981! 30 years ago!

Performance:
It wasn't the best of all performances but had areas which were really good for an early tour show. This show didn't have as much mistakes as an early show usually has. There were quite a few mistakes though, that's one reason why it's this rating. The other reason is because of the setlist... WHAT THE HELL!? There were like 10 songs in the encore. How confusing it must have been to be there. Sunday Bloody Sunday was 2nd in the set, really weird as it's usually late in the set or in the middle. Love and Peace or Else was the opener which worked quite well actually.
Audience:
Well, they were good for putting up with the messy setlist. Otherwise, an alright audience.
Sound quality:
Really good sound. Unfortunate that it wasn't a brilliant show.

Vertigo Tour needed improvement at this point. The setlist needed worked on, some songs need polished, just more in general was needed.

Performance:
Although, this bootleg had a couple of problems with it, the performance beat it all and was great. Almost everything was perfect, except from one thing which rather bugged me a little during the start. For the first few songs, Bono's voice was rather bad may I say. Other than that, it was really good performance.
Audience:
Because it was a soundboard recording, the sound of the audience gets thrown out. The audience did try and make themselves be heard though. If this wasn't a soundboard, I believe this crowd would be amazing.
Sound quality:
Yes, I gave it a 4-star but there were a couple of problems with the sound.
- It suffered bad echo for the first three songs
- The bass was far too loud in the first couple of songs.
After this, it improved massively and didn't irritate me.
Overall:
Although it had those problems, they cleared up in a short time and eventually made the bootleg sound great. The audience could have been a hell of a lot better if it wasn't a soundboard. I think this bootleg might need some remastering tools to it so it can remove the bad echo and very loud bass.

Performance:
Really good Popmart performance. Shows the mass improvement from the first show in Las Vegas. This show was only a couple of shows before the Mexico City concert was filmed.
This show got off to a brilliant start. I Will Follow and Gone were outstanding in every way, perfected. The middle was really good but not as good as the start or encore. The encore was fantastic. I felt a couple of mistakes were made during the middle of the concert, and so that's why I gave it this rating of 4.5 and not 5.
Audience:
They were good, lacking of something though. I think they were lacking a bit more singing and cheering.

Performance:
It wasn't a perfect bootleg but it was almost there. I don't think there was a song that was performed badly. There was specific highlights though.
One thing that annoys me about Vertigo Tour is the politics and Bono's lengthy speeches which are evident before the start of One. It was about a 10 minute One and it took about 3 and a half minutes to get into it!? I download music, not party political broadcasts.
Audience:
Italian crowds - as ever, brilliant but were just a tad off what I was expecting from them. The Milan concerts show how good the Italian crowds are.

I did enjoy this bootleg, very much. Only one thing annoyed me, which was the political speeches off Bono. He's kind of calmed down over the political speeches in 360 now. That's a good thing - you can enjoy the show more without getting a song interupted.

Performance:
First night of Elevation - what can I say. Experimenting with many songs, trying to find a newer sounds. This gig was rather 50-50 and up-down to me. It was really good parts, alright in other parts but occasionally bad in some parts as well. I believe it was rehearsed properly, more than Popmart at least.
They kept some songs from Popmart - Discotheque and Gone. They brought back The Fly and re-decorated it. Also gave The Sweetest Thing a shot as well - Bono playing piano for once.
There was problems in 2 songs - Gone and The Fly. At the start of Gone, the backing track seems to have been misplaced in some way. Bono also forgot some of the lyrics. The Fly had a bag full of mistakes - really needing polished for future performances.
Audience:
Audience recording and where the hell are they!? Sleeping by the looks of it.
Sound quality:
Near a five star but disruptions and crackles in the recording reduced it's rating. Very good recording though! Kudos to the person who recorded this.
Overall:
Aside the problems with a couple of songs, you can't really go wrong. Bono's voice could be a tad better though. Gone's backing track was misplaced and Bono was forgetting the lyrics. Performance:
I was intrested in this concert after seeing In God's Country on Youtube. So I downloaded it and was fairly disappointed. I thought this was going to be a right shining concert. Bono couldn't hit high notes well, there was also half a dozen of minor mistakes in there. Bono was also in a sling for this concert after breaking his arm at Washington a couple of weeks before - not a reason why his singing was off.
Audience:
This was a quiet audience. It could have been because of the recording which was a soundboard. That is actually probably the reason why.
Sound quality:
Soundboards are extremely good - this one was only good. 4.5 is an over-exaggerated rating for the sound.
Overall:
I decided to give this bootleg a 4-star in the end. I could have possibly given it lower but that seems almost harsh. It didn't have any major mistakes in it, the rest of the band were almost on top notch, just Bono ruined the rating a bit.

It was a really good and clean performance. The Wembley shows are known to be some of the best 360 shows. Doesn't beat Sheffield at the moment though. The reason why I gave 4.5 and not 5 was because sometimes Bono's voice was off. There were a couple of noticeable mistakes as well. NLOTH songs were the best. No Line on the Horizon, Get on Your Boots and Unknown Caller are the NLOTH songs to look out for.
Audience:
Excellent audience. Singing and shouting out in a 90,000 seater stadium is just brilliant.
Sound quality:
The sound was really good, not perfect. It wasn't perfect because of some crackiling. It wasn't completely clean.
Overall:
It was a superb bootleg, some things let it down though. The sound wasn't clean, there were tiny mistakes and Bono's voice was sometimes a little off. Nevertheless, it doesn't bring down it's overall rating that much.

This was an excellent show. Everyone was talking about how good it was so I had to download it. I think every song was enjoyable but certain songs shined in this concert. Download instantly!
Audience:
The audience were amazing. Shouting all the time. Singing all the time.
Sound quality:
It was broadcast on radio and it was remastered. The sound was probably the best I've ever heard in a bootleg ever.

Epic gig. Everything comes together and makes it amazing. The performance is brilliant, audience were really good and the sound was the best part. Download now!

Performance:
Wasn't exactly faultless but it was still good. Some performances of songs were really good. It started off well with Mofo and Gone but it sounded like Bono's voice was getting tired. There was a mistakes at the start of Even Better Than The Real Thing by Larry. He almost lost the drumming, he couldn't get it right.
Audience:
The audience were singing sometimes. They were also singing sometimes. But sometimes very quiet.
Sound quality:
It was rated a 4-star and I agree with that.
Overall:
A solid 4-star bootleg. The performance was good, mistakes were included though. The audience were only good sometimes, which surprises me for a Spanish audience. The sound was a 4-star, doesn't exactly make it a bad thing. I would still give it a listen anyway.

Performance:
It was really good for a 1st Leg performance. It shows that U2 are improving show by show after a disasterous start to the tour. Edmonton were probably the best shows in the first leg.
Audience:
Disappointing. They shouted sometimes but where were they? One of the worst crowds I've ever heard
Sound quality:
Was a good soundboard bootleg. Soundboard is the way to go. Clean listening.
Overall:
Performance and Sound were really good. The audience drags the rating down quite severly. I could have given this bootleg a 4.5 star but the audience were really quite disappointing.

Performance:
The performance was really good, something that was always expected after ZooTV after being the most liked tour by U2. Desire, Ultraviolet and Love Is Blindness are usually played well, it was in the bootleg. Only one song that disappointed me was UTEOTW. It's probably my favourite U2 live song and one of my favourite U2 songs. It was somehow quite scrappy.
Audience:
Sing guys? They shouted sometimes. Disappointing.
Sound quality:
The song was proper 4.5 stars. It was definately listenable.
Overall:
Really good bootleg, audience were somewhat disappointing. The sound and performance were really good though, that makes up for it.

Even Better Than The Real Thing
Dirty Old Town (Larry should sing more often)
Bullet the Blue Sky
Running to Stand Still

Performance:
The performance was good. All songs were performed fine. Only a few songs shined in this bootleg which was a bit disappointing. I think the maximum I can give it is a 4-star.
Audience:
They didn't really sing that much but they did shout quite alot.
Sound quality:
Sometimes other instruments ruled out other instruments which made the sound disappointing.
Overall:
It didn't have a bad song played. It was quite a good bootleg, had a few disappointments in it though. 4-star.

Performance:
Good performance. It shows the live potential of the band in the early years of their career. Possibly the best song peformed in this bootleg was A Day Without Me. You could feel the audience enjoyed this very much. Especially Sunday Bloody Sunday. When it comes on, everyone just cheers and you can hear the floors shake.
Audience:
They were good but I was expecting better. Scottish fans usually go crazy...
Sound quality:
For a 1983 bootleg, superb sound quality. The sound wasn't just there for a 5-star sound rating in my opinion.
Overall:
Really good bootleg from the Scottish city of Glasgow. The performance was good although could have better I thought. The audience could have been a bit crazier and the sound was really good for it's age.

Performance:
Out of the first five shows - this has to be the best. It shows that they improved every time during Popmart. The performances were clean. A couple of mistakes during the EBTTRT and UTEOTW solos which were noticeable, were made up by the performances of the songs. Do You Feel Loved was done really well, as it was on every Popmart show it appeared in. I still don't know why they dropped this song, it was probably the best Pop song done. Staring at the Sun was finally perfected in the full band performance. It was really good to hear the full band doing it but I personally prefer the acoustic version
Audience:
They were good at the start. It was an audience recording, so you could hear them well. The singing was missing a bit by the crowd and they also died down towards the end.
Sound quality:
If this had a really good sound, this boot would be top notch. But unfortunately, the sound was disappointing. Probably because it was an audience recording.
Overall:
A good bootleg - the performance was there, the audience were alright but the sound drained it's rating which was disappoiting. The best bootleg of the first 5 Popmart shows, definately.
Highlights
________
Even Better Than The Real Thing - did have a mistake but was a really good performance of the song
Do You Feel Loved - was always performed well on Popmart, should of stayed.
Staring at the Sun - best full band performance of the song

Performance:
Although the peformance was good, at the same time was a little tacky. New Year's Day was performed almost awfully. The Edge made 3 mistakes on the piano, maybe more and also Larry drummed a little early into Edge's piano part. But some performance such as TTTYAATW, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Love Is Blindness were performed superbly.
I also wasn't too keen on the acoustic set they done which also could be known as the "Rattle & Hum set". There was a bit of a mix-up at the start of Angel of Harlem when they somehow couldn't get it right. When Love Comes To Town has never been played well live in my opinion. Hasn't actually really been a good song as well to me. Wasn't performed well, proved difficult to play. All I Want Is You was alright although a bit tacky.
Overall, it was a good bootleg. The setlist was a bit of a letdown and so was New Year's Day
Audience:
You heard them shouting sometimes but where was the singing!? C'mon guys!
Sound quality:
It was a little static sounding during Zoo Station which I discovered through Bono's voice. You could hear the whole performance well which gives it an excellent rating.
Overall:
I was a little disappointed with this bootleg. Looking at the other reviews, I thought this would be one I would adore, obviously not. I liked it but not as much as I was excepting it to. It was mainly down to the setlist choice and the poor New Year's Day.
Highlights
________
- One
- Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World (much better than studio version)
- Sunday Bloody Sunday (makes me think, "why did they drop this during ZooTV?")

Performance:
Really good performance by the band. All songs are played really well. This era, aka "the early days", shows that U2 had potential and also that they were a hot live band. Boy material such as "An Cat Dubh", "The Electric Co." and "Out of Control" were performed best. October stuff wasn't performed up to full standards but was done well to say at least.
Audience:
Scottish crowd. As ever, really good crowd. Going crazy at points.
Sound quality:
Wasn't that good tbh. It was mediocre. During "Gloria", you could barely hear the guitar. It improved though but still had that fuzzy noise the whole way through.
Overall:
A really good October bootleg. This shows that U2's shows back then were enthusiastic and entertaining at the same time. Pure brilliance.
Highlights

- Gloria (except from that loud fuzzy noise and lack of guitar at the start)
- An Cat Dubh
- The Electric Co. (superb performance)

Performance:
I originally was going to give this 4.5 but 5 is a definate. The performance was great, maybe because some of it was being recorded for Rattle & Hum. You can't go wrong with a Spanish Eyes performance, which was a song I wasn't too keen on before. Silver and Gold was amazing as well. U2 performing their b-sides was a good idea for Joshua Tree Tour.
Audience:
They were really good, I must admit. They were singing alot, not heard sometimes though. Shouting most of the time as well.
Sound quality:
The sound was absoutely excellent. Top marks for this bootleg in terms of sound.
Overall:
Excellent Joshua Tree Tour peformance by them, no faults at all.

Performance:
Was a really good performance, some faults I would admit to but there were some great performances in here. This is a great performance and is worth a listen. Although, Bono's voice was marginally louder than the band which was a let down a little bit.
Audience:
They were shouting sometimes but not singing alot.
Sound quality:
I was withering to either give this a 3.5 or 4, but in the end I've given it a 4. Reason is because, in the first 6 songs, there was a crackiling noise going on and it was annoying. It was really persistent but eventually stopped at the end of UTEOTW. The crackily noise really only happened when Bono was singing. It was because Bono was really loud as mentioned earlier.
Overall:
I gave it a 4 because of the audience let down and the other problems. Could of been less but the band's performance made up for it!

Performance:
I absoutely loved this bootleg. A reason for downloading it was because it's my hometown. I step out of my house, get a bus and can go straight to Edinburgh Playhouse. I wish I was born to see this performance because it was outstanding just from listening to it. It shows that they were always good at doing live. "Live is where we live" which was once said by Larry Mullen and he's absoutely correct.
When Sunday Bloody Sunday came on, everyone went bonkers! The crowd were insane and they had every right to be because this performance was sublime.
Audience:
All I can say is that it was a Scottish crowd and they go crazy at any concert, especially when it's a U2 concert! You can tell that absoutely everyone who was there loved this!
Sound quality:
The sound wasn't perfect but it was excellent. Good enough to hear's U2 astonishing Edinburgh performance!

Performance:
It was a really good performance by the band. This being my second Vertigo bootleg, I think it was almost flawless. Bono's voice was a bit cranky at times but it wasn't irritating or bad. The ZooTV mini encore was brilliant too, always was during Vertigo.
Audience:
The audience were shouting alot and I mean ALOT. They didn't sing enough to get full marks though.
Sound quality:
Perfect sound.
Overall:
It was early in the tour, would have expected it to be quite bad but the performance was really good. The audience were almost top notch but the sound was the best of the rest.

Sound quality:
I was really expecting this bootleg to be a proper 3.5 star bootleg but it wasn't. This really shouldn't be a 3.5 star bootleg, it should be a 4. I was originally going to give it a 4.5 but crackily sounds happened during UTEOTW and New Year's Day and later happened.

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Highlight:- Do You Feel Loved, Gone, Please, One and Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
Low:- I Will Follow, Last Night on Earth, no Velvet Dress!?, Edge still playing Discotheque into With or Without You and an irritating, weird noise during With or Without You which almost gave me a headache.

Performance:
Pretty bad performance. Didn't like Bono's speeches, such as "this is the first night". It wasn't the first night, he just hated Las Vegas because of the performance. I prefer Las Vegas to this.
Mofo was poor, as was I Will Follow. Gone, Even Better Than The Real Thing and Last Night on Earth were good. Pride and I Still Haven't Found were below average. Discotheque was crap, no If You Wear That Velvet Dress which is upsetting. Miami was rather good. Staring at the Sun was an improvement from Las Vegas. Mysterious Ways was really good, as was One.

Couldn't hear them most of the time, really disappointing
Sound quality:
Probably one of the best Popmart bootlegs for sound.
Overall:
5 star if the audience was good, otherwise a brilliant 4 star!
Everything was a highlight, nothing that can be considered as a low. One of the best Popmart shows for performance!

Performance:
Of course, this was U2's first Popmart show. And also, their first show in about 3 and a half years. That's all acceptable. Also, U2 didn't get enough practice because Pop over-ran. Some songs were performed well overall. I think the timing of the band was poor. They had to start Staring at the Sun over again which was because of timing. I don't think they got Staring at the Sun sussed live at the start. I think the full band version is good but the acoustic version, I prefer. Bono's singing was rather lazy. By the end of the year, there were no problems in Popmart... except from the malfunctioning lemon of course.
Audience:
And some points, you could hear them cheering and all that. They were a good audience in terms of putting up with a rather awful performance.
Sound quality:
Very good sound, no doubt about it.
Overall:
Highlights: Do You Feel Loved, If God Will Send His Angels, Mysterious Ways, Please, Miami and Pride
Lows: The rest, the timing, Staring at the Sun having to start over again, Mofo, Bono's singing.

Performance:
The band really perform a great show. The Edge's guitar playing is excellent. Adam Clayton's bass playing is exhilarating, as ever. Larry's drums stand out. Bono's usual snippets every 3 or 4 songs are included indefinately. 5 star performance, no doubt.
Audience:
Could have been a bit more excited.
Sound quality:
The sound is almost upto proper standards. Because it's from TV / Radio, that makes it better. Great sound, almost perfect.
Overall:
Highlights: Miami (never liked it before), Until The End of the World, Last Night on Earth, If You Wear That Velvet Dress, Bono's Whole Lotta Love snippet, New Year's Day, One, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, Mysterious Ways, Pride and Edge's Karoake.
Lows: With or Without (Bono a bit lost there)
