Im Rahmen unserer großen Spendenaktion, in der wir zusammen mit Herbert Grönemeyer Geld für "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" sammeln, habt ihr die Möglichkeit, bei einer Verlosung eines der limitierten VIP-Geschenke zu gewinnen.

Bereits 2017 haben wir in einer gemeinsamen Spendenaktion zusammen mit Herbert Grönemeyer rund 14.000 € für Ärzte ohne Grenzen gespendet (siehe unsere News hier).
Doch dabei wollen wir es nicht belassen: Auch 2018 geht unsere Spendenaktion weiter. Durch den Verkauf unserer Tourshirts und Lanyards sowie durch weitere Aktionen wie diese werden wir wieder gemeinsam mit euch sammeln.

Das VIP-Geschenk konnte nur zusammen mit den speziellen Hot- und Party-Tickets erworben werden und ist somit nicht frei am Merchandise Stand erhältlich. Es ist streng limitiert und beinhaltet ein nummeriertes Echtheitszertifikat.
Das ca. 28cm x 23cm große, aufklappbare Buch hat einen hellblauen Hardcover Einband.

Wie kann man das VIP-Geschenk gewinnen?

Um an der Verlosung teilzunehmen könnt Ihr ab sofort über die Seite unseres neuen Spendenprojekts "virtuelle Lose" zum Preis von je 3,-- Euro kaufen. Die Spenden-Bestätigungsmail von betterplace leitet ihr einfach an [email protected] weiter und seid damit dann bei der Verlosung dabei.

Der Ablauf ist ganz einfach:

Geht hierzu auf die Projektseite HIER (klick) und klickt rechts außen auf "Spenden". Nun gebt Ihr an, wie viel Euro Ihr spenden wollt. Für je 3,-- Euro bekommt Ihr von uns 1 virtuelles Los zugeteilt. Wollt Ihr also Eure Gewinnchance erhöhen und z.B. 2 Lose kaufen, dann müsst Ihr 6,-- Euro spenden, für 3 Lose 9,-- Euro usw.
Darunter wählt Ihr aus, wie Ihr die Spende bezahlen wollt - Bankeinzug, Paypal oder Kreditkarte – und gebt die hierfür notwendigen Daten ein.
Wichtig: Achtet unbedingt darauf, dass die E-Mail Adresse die Ihr angebt auch korrekt ist. Denn an diese Mailadresse bekommt Ihr von unserem Partner betterplace eine Mail, in der Eure Spende bestätigt wird und die ihr zur Teilnahme an [email protected] weiterleiten müsst! Ggf. solltet ihr auch euren Spam-Ordner prüfen, falls ihr nicht zeitnah eine Mail von betterplace bekommen habt.
Die nachfolgende Seite mit einer Registrierung auf betterplace müsst ihr nicht zwingend ausfüllen – sie hat für die Verlosung keine Bedeutung.

Die Spenden-Mail von betterplace leitet Ihr nun an

weiter - erst dann wird für euch das virtuelle Los erstellt!

Achtet dabei darauf, dass die "Gesendet" Daten (Datum und Uhrzeit, zu der Euch betterplace die Mail geschickt hat) und die Spendensumme korrekt in der Mail eingetragen sind, damit wir das mit den eingegangenen Spenden abgleichen können.

Anhand der Gesendet-Daten prüfen wir, ob auch eine Spende mit dem entspr. Betrag auf dem Spendenkonto eingegangen ist. Schreibt in die Mail noch euren vollständigen Vor- und Nachnamen dazu. Die Postanschrift erfragen wir im Falle eines Gewinnes nach der Auslosung von euch.
Dann erstellen wir für je 3,-- Euro Spendenbetrag 1 virtuelles Los auf Euren Namen und Ihr nehmt an der Auslosung teil.
Falls ihr bereits gespendet habt und Eure Gewinnchance doch noch erhöhen wollt könnt ihr natürlich nochmals spenden und damit weitere Lose kaufen. Die Mehrfachteilnahme ist also zulässig!

Letzter Termin um per Spende Lose zu kaufen ist Sonntag, 26. August 2018, 23:59 Uhr. Die Mail mit der Spendenbestätigung muss bis zum nächsten Tag (Montag, 27. August 2018) um 12:00 Uhr bei uns eingegangen sein!

Wie läuft die Verlosung ab?

Für alle eingegangen Spenden legen wir in einer Datei virtuelle Lose an und zwar je 3,-- Euro Spendenbetrag 1 Los. Diese werden in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs der von Euch an uns weitergeleiteten Betterplace-Mail beginnend mit 001 nummeriert. Der Erste, der also 3,-- Euro spendet und die Mail an uns weitergeleitet hat erhält die Nr. 001, der Nächste die Nr. 002 usw.
Wenn ihr mehr als 3,-- Euro spendet wird natürlich auch eine entsprechende Anzahl an Losnummern auf euren Namen angelegt (je 3,-- Euro 1 Losnummer). Innerhalb von 12 Stunden, nachdem ihr eure Spendenmail an uns weitergeleitet habt, solltet ihr von uns eine Antwortmail mit euren Losnummern erhalten.

Nach dem 26. August 2018 wird unser Zufallsgenerator eine Zahl entsprechend der vergebenen Losnummern ermitteln. Diese Losnummer gewinnt das VIP-Gift und der der Losnummer zugeordnete Spender wird von uns per Mail benachrichtigt. Zusätzlich werden wir den Gewinner auch auf U2tour.de veröffentlichen. Sobald der Gewinner uns seine Postanschrift mitgeteilt hat wird der Gewinn versandt.

Übrigens:
Eure Spende ist zu 100% steuerlich absetzbar! Etwa im Februar/März nächsten Jahres erhaltet Ihr von betterplace per Mail eine Spendenbescheinigung, die Ihr auf Eurer Steuererklärung entsprechend eintragen könnt.

As part of our big donation campaign, with which we raise money for "Doctors Without Borders" together with German singer (and friend of Bono) Herbert Grönemeyer, you now have the chance to win one of the limited VIP gifts in a lottery.

In 2017 we cooperated with Herbert Grönemeyer on a donation campaign and raised EUR 14,000 for Doctors Without Borders. (please see our news report - German only here).
But we do not want to leave it at that: Our donation campaign continues in 2018. With the profits of our shirt and lanyard sales and special events like this one, we are again raising money for that cause.

This VIP gift was (and is) only available as part of the special HOT and PARTY Packages sold and cannot be bought at the merchandise booths. It is strictly limited and individually numbered.

The 28x23cm sized book has a light blue hardcover and contains:

How to win the VIP gift?

In order to participate in this lottery you can buy "virtual lottery tickets" for EUR 3 per piece via the page of our 2018 donation page. In order to reclaim the tickets, just forward the donation confirmation mail from betterplace to [email protected] and you are in.

The process is fairly easy:

Just open the donation page HERE (click) and enter the amount you would like to donate. For each every EUR 3 you donate, you will be allocated one virtual lottery ticket. If you would like to improve your chances and buy e.g. 2 lottery tickets, just donate EUR 6, or for 3 lottery tickets EUR 9 and so forth.

Next you will have to chose your preferred payment method:
Bankeinzug (direct debit)
Paydirekt (direct pay - possibly only for German accounts )
Paypal
Kreditkarte (credit card)

On the right, please enter Vorname (first name), Nachname (surname), e-mail address, Straße und Hausnummer (street and house number), PLZ (postcode), Stadt (city) and choose your country from the drop-down menu.
By clicking on "Jetzt spenden" (donate now) you will be directed to the payment page (payments with credit card will be directed to Wirecard to enter your name, credit card number, expiry date and the CVC2 or CVV2 number).
The next step on the betterplace page (registration for betterplace) is optional and not necessary for the lottery.

After finishing the steps described above, do not forget to forward the donation confirmation mail (also check your spam folder!) from betterplace to

[email protected]
- only after receiving your forwarded mail we can allocate the virtual lottery tickets!

Please make sure that the "Sent" information (date and time at which betterplace sent you the confirmation) and the amount of the donation is correctly included in the mail you forward us. We need that information to be able to check it against the donations received on our donation page.

With the help of the "sent data" we check whether a donation with the same amount was received. Please include your full name (first and last name) into the mail - we will ask you for your full postal address in case you are the lucky winner.
Once we have all information from you we will allocate you one lottery ticket per each EUR 3 donated and you will participate in the lottery.
In case you would like to improve your chances to win, you can always donate again as long as this event is on and buy additional lottery tickets. Participating multiple times is absolutely legitimate!

The event (and your opportunity to buy tickets for this event) ends on Sunday, 26 August 2018 at 11:59pm CEST (Central European Summer Time). The forwarded confirmation mail from betterplace needs to be in our inbox by the next day (Monday, 27 August 2018) by noon!

How is the lottery drawing executed?

We allocate virtual lottery tickets for all donations received, one ticket for every EUR 3 amount. These will be allocated in the order we receive your forwarded betterplace-confirmation, starting with 001. The first person donating EUR 3 and forwarding the confirmation mail to us will receive the number 001, the next one 002, etc.
In case you donate more than EUR 3 (i.e. multiples of 3), you will be allocated a corresponding number of lottery tickets in your name (i.e. one lottery ticket number per EUR 3 donated). Within 12 hours after your forwarded us your betterplace mail you should receive a reply-mail containing your lottery ticket number(s).

After the end of this lottery event, i.e. after 26 August 2018, our random number generator will determine the lucky lottery ticket number out of all numbers allocated. The owner of this winning lottery ticket will be the lucky winner of the VIP gift and will receive a notification from us. In addition, we will publish the winner's name on U2tour.de and other social media channels. As soon as we receive the winner's postal address, we will send out the prize.

Our new e+i Tour Lanyard (keychain) is now available. The black lanyard is about 90 cm and the 13 cities of the European Leg are printed in lighblue typewriter letters. It also has a metall hook at its end. More pictures can be found here (click).
