Unsere Verlosungen im Rahmen unserer großen Spendenaktion, in der wir zusammen mit Herbert Grönemeyer Geld für "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" sammeln, gehen in die Schlussphase.
Und auch dieses mal gibt es wieder etwas ganz besonderes zu gewinnen. In freundlicher Zusammenarbeit mit Edel Rodriguez verlosen wir:

Weltweit berühmt wurde Edel Rodriguez durch seine Zeichnungen für das Time Magazin. Insbesondere seine Trump-Karrikaturen erzeugen ein breites Medienecho. Auch für den Spiegel zeichnete Edel bereits einige Titelseiten.

U2 Fans ist der Name Edel Rodriguez spätestens seit der eXPERIENDE+iNNOCENCE Tour ein Begriff: Edel designte zahlreiche Bilder, die auf dem Videoscreen gezeigt wurden. Die Bilder waren auch als Postkarten beim Merchandise erhältlich.

Der Kunstdruck ist ca. 40cm x 60cm groß und oben rechts von Edel signiert. Er ist auf 20 Exemplare limitiert. Einen davon besitzt Bono.









Wie kann man diesen Kunstdruck gewinnen?

1. Ihr kauft "virtuelle Lose" über die Seite unseres neuen Spendenprojekts. Die Lose kosten jeweils 3,- Euro. Ihr könnt so viele Lose kaufen, wie Ihr möchtet:
   für je 3,- Euro bekommt Ihr ein Los zugeteilt, wollt Ihr also Eure Chance erhöhen und bspw. zwei Lose kaufen, dann müsst Ihr 6,- Euro spenden, für drei Lose 9,- Euro usw.
   Die Bezahlung kann per Bankeinzug, paypal, paydirekt oder Kreditkarte erfolgen. Die nachfolgende Seite mit einer Registrierung auf betterplace müsst ihr nicht zwingend ausfüllen – sie hat für die Verlosung keine Bedeutung. WICHTIG: Achtet unbedingt darauf, dass Ihr Eure Email-Adresse korrekt angebt. An diese Adresse erhaltet Ihr Eure Bestätigungsmail:
   
2. Nach dem Kauf erhaltet Ihr eine Bestätigungsmail von betterplace. Diese leitet Ihr bitte unbedingt an [email protected] weiter. NUR DANN seid Ihr bei der Verlosung dabei und ihr erhaltet innerhalb von 24 Stunden von uns eine Mail mit euren Losnummern.
   

Achtet dabei darauf, dass die "Gesendet" Daten (Datum und Uhrzeit, zu der Euch betterplace die Mail geschickt hat) und die Spendensumme korrekt in der Mail eingetragen sind, damit wir das mit den eingegangenen Spenden abgleichen können.

Anhand der Gesendet-Daten prüfen wir, ob auch eine Spende mit dem entspr. Betrag auf dem Spendenkonto eingegangen ist. Schreibt in die Mail noch euren vollständigen Vor- und Nachnamen sowie möglichst auch schon eure Postanschrift dazu.

Falls ihr bereits gespendet habt und Eure Gewinnchance doch noch erhöhen wollt könnt ihr natürlich nochmals spenden und damit weitere Lose kaufen. Die Mehrfachteilnahme ist also zulässig!

Letzter Termin um per Lose zu kaufen ist Sonntag, 13. Januar 2019, 23:59 Uhr. Die Mail mit der Spendenbestätigung muss bis zum nächsten Tag (Montag, 14. Januar 2019) um 12:00 Uhr bei uns eingegangen sein!

Wie läuft die Verlosung ab?

Für alle eingegangen Spenden legen wir in einer Datei virtuelle Lose an und zwar je 3,-- Euro Spendenbetrag ein Los. Diese werden in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs der von Euch an uns weitergeleiteten Betterplace-Mail beginnend mit 001 nummeriert. Der Erste, der also 3,-- Euro spendet und die Mail an uns weitergeleitet hat erhält die Nr. 001, der Nächste die Nr. 002 usw.
Wenn ihr mehr als 3,-- Euro spendet wird natürlich auch eine entsprechende Anzahl an Losnummern auf euren Namen angelegt (je 3,-- Euro 1 Losnummer). Innerhalb von 24 Stunden, nachdem ihr eure Spendenmail an uns weitergeleitet habt, solltet ihr von uns eine Antwortmail mit euren Losnummern erhalten.

Nach dem 13. Januar 2019 wird unser Zufallsgenerator das Gewinnlos entsprechend der vergebenen Losnummern ermitteln. Der der Losnummer zugeordnete Spender wird von uns per Mail benachrichtigt. Zusätzlich werden wir den Gewinner auch auf U2tour.de veröffentlichen.

Übrigens:
Eure Spende ist zu 100% steuerlich absetzbar! Etwa im Februar/März nächsten Jahres erhaltet Ihr von betterplace per Mail eine Spendenbescheinigung, die Ihr auf Eurer Steuererklärung entsprechend eintragen könnt.

As part of our big donation campaign, with which we raise money for "Doctors Without Borders" together with German singer (and friend of Bono) Herbert Grönemeyer, you now have the chance to win an exclusive, limited and signed artwork of Edel Rodriguez!

In 2017, we cooperated with Herbert Grönemeyer on a donation campaign and raised EUR 14,000 for Doctors Without Borders. (please see our news report - German only here).
But we do not want to leave it at that: Our donation campaign continues in 2018 but will be coming to an end in the next few weeks. With 100 per cent profits of our shirt and lanyard sales and special events like this one, we are again raising money for that cause.

Edel Rodriguez became famous worldwide for his illustrations for Time magazine. In particular his Trump caricatures generate a broad media response. Edel also designed some covers for the German Spiegel magazine.

Edel fans have come to appreciate Edel Rodriguez at least since the eXPERIENDE + iNNOCENCE tour: Edel designed numerous pictures that were shown on the video screen. The pictures were also available as postcards at the merchandise booths.

The 40x60cm artwork is limited to 20 pieces, with one owned by Bono!

How to win the artwork?

1. Buy virtual lottery tickets via our 2018 donation page - just click on "SPENDEN" on the right side. For each every EUR 3.00 you donate, you will be allocated one virtual lottery ticket. If you would like to improve your chances and buy e.g. 2 lottery tickets, just donate EUR 6, or for 3 lottery tickets EUR 9 and so forth.
   Next you will have to chose your preferred payment method: Bankeinzug (direct debit), Paydirekt (direct pay - possibly only for German accounts ), Paypal or Kreditkarte (credit card)*
   IMPORTANT: Please make sure your email adress is correct. Your confirmation email will be sent to this adress:
   
2. After finishing the steps described above, you will receive a confirmation email from betterplace. Now forward this donation confirmation mail (also check your spam folder!) to [email protected]. ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE SENT THIS MAIL, you are in and you'll get a confirmation mail with your ticket numbers (within 24 hours).

* Please enter Vorname (first name), Nachname (surname), e-mail address, Straße und Hausnummer (street and house number), PLZ (postcode), Stadt (city) and choose your country from the drop-down menu.
By clicking on "Jetzt spenden" (donate now) you will be directed to the payment page (payments with credit card will be directed to Wirecard to enter your name, credit card number, expiry date and the CVC2 or CVV2 number).
The next step on the betterplace page (registration for betterplace) is optional and not necessary for the lottery.
Please make sure that the "Sent" information (date and time at which betterplace sent you the confirmation) and the amount of the donation is correctly included in the mail you forward us. We need that information to be able to check it against the donations received on our donation page.

With the help of the "sent data" we check whether a donation with the same amount was received. Please include your full name (first and last name) and your postal address into the mail.
Once we have all information from you we will allocate you one lottery ticket per each EUR 3.00 donated and you will participate in the lottery.
In case you would like to improve your chances to win, you can always donate again as long as this event is on and buy additional lottery tickets. Participating multiple times is absolutely legitimate!

The event (and your opportunity to buy tickets for this event) ends on Sunday, 13 January 2019 at 11:59pm CET (Central European Time). The forwarded confirmation mail from betterplace needs to be in our inbox by the next day (Monday, 14 January 2019) by noon!

How is the lottery drawing executed?

We allocate virtual lottery tickets for all donations received, one ticket for every EUR 3 amount. These will be allocated in the order we receive your forwarded betterplace-confirmation, starting with 001. The first person donating EUR 3 and forwarding the confirmation mail to us will receive the number 001, the next one 002, etc.
In case you donate more than EUR 3 (i.e. multiples of 3), you will be allocated a corresponding number of lottery tickets in your name (i.e. one lottery ticket number per EUR 3 donated). Within 24 hours after your forwarded us your betterplace mail you should receive a reply-mail containing your lottery ticket number(s).

After the end of this lottery event, i.e. after 14 January, our random number generator will determine the lucky lottery ticket number out of all numbers allocated. The owner of this winning lottery ticket will be the lucky winner and will receive a notification from us. In addition, we will publish the winner's name on U2tour.de and other social media channels. As soon as we receive the winner's postal address, we will send out the prize.
