Performance

It's not that good, really. The performance is very, very average and they sound tired out, which is understandable, but not much fun to listen to. Bono leaves out most of the usual snippets. Edge's guitar malfunctions before Even Better, which leads to most of the song being played in a 'funky' bass and drums arrangement. Until the End of the World is really the first song that has much energy in it. Dirty Day is also quite good, if a little slow. Even Bullet the Blue Sky isn't really up to its usual calibre. The encore is a bit stronger than the main set. Love Is Blindness wraps the set up on a good note, as ever.



Sound

The sound quality is quite good, though the audience seems pretty absent.

Audience

You can barely hear them. Maybe it's just the recording, but it sounds like maybe about a quarter of the audience is excited to be there, and everyone else is just sort of standing about.

Overall

Worth downloading for the highly unusual Even Better Than the Real Thing and the sadly rare Zooropa songs. The sound is good but the show is pretty flat. My advice: give this one a listen or two, then free up some space in your library and keep the few really good performances. Bottom line, not a bad show but nothing to write home about by any means. There are much, much better ZooTV performances out there.
