Performance

Better-than-average PopMart Leg 1 show, but not the cream of the crop for this tour. Mofo comes out SWINGING, Larry is really powering through it. I thought we were gonna have a really intense sounding show but it evens out.

I Will Follow ends a bit abruptly and EBTTRT is still trying to find its footing in this setting as well...but by the time Gone comes around, they've hit their stride. A really strong understated If God Will Send His Angels in this one, too.

With or Without You is better than usual, and Please was good. Mysterious Ways and Until the End of the World were not my favorite versions. Last Night on Earth starts out a little odd, like they don't really know how to kick it off yet.

Clearly a rain show given Bono's speech in ISHF. Check out the video on our page and you can see just how despaired the screen looked that day.

Sound

Really good sounding PopMart boot!

Audience

Really great crowd that has a nice mix on this boot, Edge really gets into it with them during Karaoke and Bono leads them through a fun reprise of the MW chorus as the song ends. Nice moment.

Overall

Although this is a decent show and is certainly strong for where they were on the tour at this point, it's still toward the top of "average" for me.
