Comments:
"This excellent recording is a mix of a very good audience tape by f.w.
and a before rarely circulated IEM recording of that night. The sound
quality is excellent, but has also some weak points caused by the
typical IEM clicking. A lot of it has been removed or reduced with a
slight lost of quality. This is for example notable during the beginning
of WTSHNN and WOWY.
But still, without clicking it might be more enjoyable than with it.
And without questioning it is very enjoyable recording to listen to.
It is perhaps one of the best recordings from the Elevation tour.
This recording is close to the quality of Birdman's ALD/AUD Mix from
the night before and the famous 'Cleveland Tea Party' recording.
You can clearly hear Bono's voice and Larry's drumming. Unfortunately
Edge's guitar is sometimes a little bit hard to hear. Crowd noise is
almost not present or at least in no way disturbing. It only comes
in at the right time.
The packaging is black/white which might sound a bit chaste.
This is unusual but makes it somehow special. The discs come in a
standard double disc jewel case. Overall very nice and noble packaging.
The concert itself meaning U2's performance is great but not outstanding.
Still, if you like the Elevation tour, you might consider getting this one."

Performance

A decent performance by the band. What a setlist! One of the best of the tour in my opinion, Although I love EBTTRT in general,the version from this show doesnt set the world alight for me or any of the elevation tour versions for that matter. There are a few mistakes scattered throughout the show but overall the band seem fairly tight. From Bullet to wowy is brilliant and Bono`s playing is great near the end,one of the best versions from the tour. Overall this show is great in parts and then in parts it feels like the band and Bono in particular are just going through the motions.

Sound

What can you say about this recording? Its definitely one of the best of the tour. It is a real treat when blasted out loud. Bono`s guitar is audible and is a real treat to hear. All instruments are audible. Not to much audience in the mix either for those that like that.

Audience

Hard to judge overall picture from this particular recording as the audience is low in the mix. But when you do hear them they seem to be engaging with what is happening.

Overall

Does this show set the world alight? In parts yes but overall maybe not. Having said that it is a very good representation of the Elevation tour. A must have in your collection
