Performance

I've been to many shows, but this was the best I've seen them live, hands down. 8 hours in the GA line, but no luck getting into the ellipse. Still, we were on the rail at about 8 o'clock on Edge's side. UTEOTW solo was right in front of us. Partial of One Tree Hill (for the husband of a woman lost on 9-11 - her favorite song) was a major highlight: first time any of that song had been played live since the JT tour. Band and crowd were on fire!

The ONLY downside was 40 (which I've heard numerous times) to close and not Bad. Photos from that night's official setlist show that Bad was planned, but for whatever reason, the boys went with 40.

Audience

Best U2 audience I've experienced. Very energetic and knew the music. US audiences are usually very subdued (e.g. the Rose Bowl - PATHETIC "fans" that night!), but not this Bay Area bunch. Very refreshing and had a big impact on the experience.

Overall

Epic concert. Best I've ever seen. Hoping and praying for a new album and tour in '14!
