Comments: The concert is broadcast live on radio and also videoed. As in Santiago, Mothers Of The Disappeared is solely performed by Bono and The Edge, with Edge playing the song on a charango. The song was not played live again until 6 September 2010. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

The band sound great, however Bono's voice does not. He just sounds tired throughout the show. It's not from a lack of effort though. I thought all four gave everything they had that night.
During the actual songs, the sound is excellent. However, in between songs, you can tell there were some edits, and the announcer who discusses every single song as it begins gets on my nerves quickly. Sometimes he even talks over Bono. If you can get past that, then the actual music sounds great. Recording: FM Aerial Broadcast - 4.5 stars
It's my belief that South American U2 audiences are the best, and they don't disappoint here.
While the main set was fairly standard, it still delivered some great moments. I have always loved City of Blinding Lights as an opener. The First Time is a great song in the middle over the main set. And Streets, as usual, gets the crowd going. The first encore was standard as well, and you could tell Bono's voice was getting tired. But there was great energy during The Fly. Lastly, the highlight for me was the second encore. They play a beautiful version of Mothers of the Disappeared. I loved hearing the lightly played Original of the Species. And they end it with an outstanding version of All I Want I You, probably one of my top 5 favorite versions of the song. Great way to end a concert.

2019 TRANSFER NOTES:
Audio of this amazing Pro-shot already circulated for many years in mp3.
But, as being taken from 48Khz AC3 and (somehow) converted into 16/44.1,
audio was not cut on sector boundaries. As such, mini-gaps are causing
tiny skips between each track transition.
This new transfer taken from that Pro-shot video has audio cut neatly on
sector boundaries and left the whole project in 16/48kHz audio, albeit
Volume was only adjusted to -0.1 dB peak levels (no additional remastering).

"You preach what you need to hear. You sing your life, and you want it to count, I suppose. I'm hoping people are tired of singers whose mouths are filled with words that were written for them and they don't believe. Their arms and legs move in directions that other people choreograph."
- Bono, 2000, Rolling Stone

The song 'Zoo Station' is about the Zoological Gardens in the middle of Berlin, which was a train station and hangout for "societies' undesirables".
