Performance notes: U2's first concert in Hawaii since 11 March 1985. Originally scheduled for 8 April 2006. Rockin' In The Free World was performed with Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam. The Saints Are Coming was performed with Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses was performed with a male fan, Michael Mitchell, on piano (the same fan who played piano during Yahweh on 14 December 2005). Mr Mitchell had a sign stating he could do a piano version of WGRYWH, but Bono pulled him on stage near the end of Angel Of Harlem, hoping he can play that song instead. Mr Mitchell didn't know it, so after asking Edge if he could remember the chords of WGRYWH, Bono decided they could play Mr Mitchell's chosen song instead. This show features the last performances of numerous songs: The First Time, Love And Peace Or Else, Rockin' In The Free World, The Saints Are Coming, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, and Window In The Skies. Bullet The Blue Sky is not performed again until 8 May 2015. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

I was very impressed by the last gig of the Vertigo-tour. The band was really on fire and I liked the performance better than the famous Saitama gigs. Bono's voice is great (as the entire 5th leg), Edge sounds brilliant and Larry and Adam are always awesome! Probably the best COBL of the tour, the most emotional SYCMIOYO (and therefore also the best) of the tour, best IWF of the tour. great versions of ISHFWILF, BD, AOH, WGRYWH (with Michael Mitchell on piano), Miss Sarajevo, One and The Fly make this a special evening. It gets even more special when first Billy Joel of Greenday gets on for TSAC and later Pearl Jam for an awesome version of Rockin' In The Free World. I would've prefered if they ended it with one of those awesome Vertigo-Kite's, but All I Want Is You was also very great. Definitely one of the best Vertigo-gigs.
A worthy 4-star. Good sound, but not good enough for 5-stars Recording: Audience microphone - 5 stars
Wasn't impressed...this audience recording was not very awesome: I missed really good sing-alongs
Must-hear. Last Vertigo gig, very emotional and very good. Best versions ever of COBL, SYCMIOYO and Miss Sarajevo. The encore is really awesome too, with Billy Joel and Pearl Jam.
No real downsides actually....

First off, Thanks to the Tapers, especially D.S.for allowing me to use the IEM. One may ask why another matrix
of this show when a good matrix already exists? Here is why, to me the other matrix sounds very distant, I don't
like the distant sound too much, so I made this one. This took countless hours over many months to make. There
were some timing issues I had to correct on all the Audience sources. The IEM has some static spots throughout,
not that bad though. This sounds much closer and what I think sounds like a well balanced recording. I diminished
the metronome on the IEM a bit, but it is still present, when I got rid of the metronome altogether, that is what made
the other matrix sound so distant. I personally don't mind the metronome. Bono's vocal's are a lot more present
and up front on this. I hate to say it, but the Audience recordings had a lot of crowd chatter throughout, I tried
my best to minimize that during the songs and inbetween where it was just way to loud. In my opinion, this is an
upgrade compared to the previous matrix. But isn't music all a matter of opinion?
Again, thanks to the tapers!
