Performance

11 O'Clock Tick Tock: 7.5/10 This classic is performed decently here. It's played a bit slower than usual, but it still sounds good. Larry's drums come through really well, especially right before the 'call out' verse and at the end. The audio recording slightly warps Bono's vocals though. It's still a good version of the song!

Touch: 9/10 Touch is played very well. Like 11 O'Clock, it's played slower than before but it doesn't really hinder the experience. Bono kills it with the vocals and is very enthusiastic. A classic version of the song!

An Cat Dubh: 5.5/10 An Cat Dubh sounds extremely average during this performance. It's quite hard to tell it apart from other performances from this era. It's not bad, it just sounds the same as it always does.

Into The Heart: 10/10 Bono's vocals are intense during Into The Heart. An It sounds exceptional with powerful guitar notes and Bono's extra lyrics at the end. For me, it's the best version of the song. Highly recommend!

Another Time, Another Place: 7/10 Larry's drums sound great on this one. Sadly, the sound cuts out part of the song. Otherwise, it's just an average performance of the track. Still sounds good though!

The Cry/Electric Co.: 7/10 One of the first performances of The Cry! It's great to hear it in its earliest form. The Electric Co. sounds really good as well. Bono is really enthusiastic with the vocals.

Things to Make and Do: 8/10 A good performance of this lesser known instrumental! Larry's drums make it stand out as a great version.

Stories For Boys: 9/10 Bono opens with a talk about U2-3. It's followed by an awesome version of the song! Adam, The Edge, and Larry are all on point. Bono is full of energy on this one. Definitely worth a listen!

Twilight: 9.5/10 'Boy Meets Man.' Amazing version. This performance has a very unique opening, with Bono praising the audience and the club. Bono yells out 'Man' at the end, it sounds very good! Everybody performs the track at near top level. Definitely recommend!

I Will Follow: 8/10 Good version! The Edge's guitar sounds great at the "...your eyes make a circle..." verse.

Out of Control: 8.5/10 Bono funnily states that the crowd should "...knock the walls down..." What a performance to end the first show of the night! Bono's vocals are on-key. Wish I could've been there to hear this one!

Sound

For the most part, the audio is very clear! For this era, it's amazing the quality is this good. It does cut out during Bono's talk before 11 O'Clock and Another Time, Another Place, and The Ocean wasn't recorded. 11 O'Clock and Touch also sound a little rough, but otherwise the quality is unprecedented.
Recording: "Born On The Bayou (part 1)" - 4.5 stars

Audience

Bono states that about 27 original fans present attended the previous show from 1980. The audience seems to be enthusiastic and pumped to hear the band!

Overall

A great Boy Tour bootleg! Highly recommend, if for Twilight and Into The Heart alone! Larry in particular had a great night, his drums sounded really good. The band played really well!
