setlist

Performance notes: Mysterious Ways and New Year's Day are played for the first time on the second leg of the 360° Tour. The opening quintuplet is changed for the first time on the entire tour: the first four songs are unchanged but Mysterious Ways' re-introduction to the set bumps Beautiful Day to sixth. Pride is not performed for the third concert in a row - this is only the second time this has happened since its 1984 debut. Desire was included in the printed set between New Year's Day and Stuck In A Moment (only a tentative inclusion as it was listed in brackets), but it was not performed. U2.com, however, incorrectly reported that it was.

Performance

I saw the band in 1987 and 2005 and those were impressive and historic shows, but this was my favorite show that I've seen. I had great seats, just far enough back to see the whole spectacle. I actually would not have traded with anyone down front. I've seen pictures from the show and I don't see how they saw much of anything. The band's performance was excellent. They were tight and yet loose and relaxed on stage. Most important was the fact that they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Edge was the standout (isn't he always). The show was LOUD and it rocked, great guitar solos and Bono's voice was in great shape. The stage was almost like the fifth member of the band and an outstanding asset to the show.

Sound

Pretty good for an audience recording. I've heard better, but listening to the boot I have from my first show in 1987 makes this one five stars by comparison.
Recording: "Church Audio CA-11 - Edirol R-09" - 3.5 stars

Audience

No problems where I was. The Canadian audiences are a bit of a change from what I'm used to in the US, but maybe it was the luck of my location. There are drunken jerks all over the world.

Overall

Five stars because I'm always happy to get a boot of a show I was at. Lowlights: I'm hoping for a better version and better artwork (I may make my own). Highlights: I get a copy of the show to send to my Canadian friends who went with me. Should make for a nice Christmas present.
