2011-02-18 - Cape Town, South Africa - Cape Town Stadium

Comments: The concert was broadcast by local radio stations throughout Africa and by U2.com to a worldwide audience of subscribers. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and Stand By Me were performed with Yvonne Chaka Chaka aka "Princess of Africa". City Of Blinding Lights had a new, extended intro featuring pre-recorded samples of Fez-Being Born (never played live) and Zooropa. This was the first concert ever held at Cape Town Stadium, although U2 and many other artists performed at the previous stadium on the site, Green Point Stadium (which was demolished in 2007).

The band was top notch today, a real treat for Cape Town

Although the original broadcast would have easily earned 6 stars, the bootleg suffers from some warbling, especially noticeable in the intro and Beautiful Day and pervades throughout.
Recording: "U2.com subscribers broadcast (AAC)" - 4.5 stars

I loved the crowd here, especially during ISHFWILF

4.5 Stars.
Technically, I would give it 4.75 stars, but that option isn't available.

I listened to the original broadcast (not on U2.com) and I was blown away. I know this was a phenomenal, and historic, show. The sound takes away a small amount, but it takes away enough to prevent me from giving it 5 stars.
