The band sounded great. Bono hit all of the notes perfectly and the Edge's guitar work was tight as can be.
Average quality but still worth a listen. You can hear me singing "no more" at 3:37 into Sunday Bloody Sunday. Recording: Audience microphone - 3.5 stars
Pittsburgh is an "older" city so there wasn't a whole lot of involvement being that the audience was older than usual. However, the crowd seemed to be into it and everyone had a good time.
I'm definitely one of those people who are not a fan of the setlist. However, I still had fun and I enjoyed being up close to U2. If you want to check out my full review of the Joshua Tree tour and where it ranks out of all of the tours, check out my forum "Every U2 Tour Ranked (2017)."

As far as this tour has gone this is a fairly standard setlist (Bad in place of A Sort of Homecoming or Little Things That Give You Away in place of I Will Follow).
Not quite a sellout at Heinz Field but the crowd was lively and energetic. Some sing along’s needed coaxing by Bono and others the crowd was sharing their voice.
Recording / Editing Notes:
* Inconsistent audio recording levels on songs marked with an asterisks. It was a second on songs like New Years Day and Bad (from what I could tell while skipping through the recording during track splitting) but more prominent on Bullet The Blue Sky (two minutes of the problem). It is almost like the audio cable was loose (to/from the preamp) and I will use a thicker cable next time.

"Boomy" from high input level and Mic gain setting, slight glitch during Sunday Bloody Sunday

I have been lucky that every show I have attended has had a recording made available.
I listened to some good advice though and took it upon myself to record shows I attend also.
Recording is difficult and isn't always perfect but if nothing else, you have a recording.
I think of it as "Taper Karma", get out and make the attempt, your recording may be the only one.
If everyone at least made the attempt, regardless of the outcome, every show would have some kind of recording.
// Lesson Learned : Always check your input levels and settings //

"Countless shows U2 have walked on to People Have The Power because it reminds us that the real action of the show lies in the hearts and minds of the people who attend it and it’s not the apparatus, however thoughtfully contrived and constructed. The lights, camera, action is the way we draw nearer, but the intimacy is always about meeting people where they are, and reminding us all that we have the power, people have the power."
- Bono in a letter to Patti Smith, 2020
did you know
In the Netherlands U2 has the record of the most number one albums in a row, 9 albums reached the top of the album chart since the Joshua Tree in 1987.
