Performance

Really enjoyed it - I was on "spoiler alert" leading up to it, so I was a blank canvas. I was really impressed with the setlist for the most part. Frankly I was glad that we didn't get any TJT songs, given the last tour and the general 'staleness' of the recent tour setlists; I didn't miss any of the TJT songs, as much as I love them.

I was a bit disappointed that the SoI visuals on Iris, Cedarwood Road, UtEOtW and a few others, were carbon copies of the 2015 tour, but that's a quibble. I really dug how they used the video screen and used the end stage. And it was fantastic during 'Pride' to see Adam Clayton pop up literally 8-10' (if that!) behind me. that was a magic moment for sure.

Great setlist, great production, had a fantastic time. Too bad it will be my only SoE show.

Sound

I taped it and I think it is a really solid recording. I had to move a few times due to SHOW TALKERS so the levels fluctuate a bit, but I was able to adjust on the fly. It is a very solid recording if I say so myself, hope to see it pop up here (and another site or two if you catch my drift).

Audience

Pretty good; the various Vegas shoutouts, the 10/1 tragedy, while predictable, the crowd's reaction was great. I was midpoint between the main and end stage, Edge side, and on the floor everyone was very engaged.

Overall

I had a grand time - the production was great, the setlist solid (only found out afterwards they're playing the identical setlist, which is a bit of a drag but whatever), Bono in outstanding voice, and all four guys looked like they were having a blast. I've not seen many U2 shows - 12-13 over the years, all the way back to 1987 - but this was definitely a top 3, mainly due to being so close to the stage. I had a great time! Wonderful memories!
