Performance

Pretty kickin' and you can almost sense how excited they are that their debut full length album is less than 1 week from being released.

Sound

Not bad! Vocals and bass aren't the clearest or very upfront but drums and guitar are loud. If it wasn't for the audience noise in between songs, you might think this is an old and slightly degraded soundboard. There are definitely audience sources a lot worse than this.
Recording: "Live From Amsterdam 15.10.1980" - 2.5 stars

Audience

Never intrusive, never overbearingly loud and obnoxious. You can tell that this is a small club and that the people there aren't super nuts about U2 yet. They like them, sure, but the applause is mellow which is interesting to hear compared to an arena show with 15,000 fans.

Overall

The last song (pre-encore) isn't actually here and the "encore" seems like it's from an entirely different show. Not sure about that but everything through Stories For Boys is a fun listen, especially considering aud quality, size of crowd, and when this takes place.
