Performance

I think they sound pretty fantastic for having played 6 nights in a row, but I don't think it really objectively blows me away performance-wise. Some of it does drag and there are some mistakes you can tell they're making because they're tired.

They nail the transition between Brick > ADWM which is a great early moment. They're still a few months away from Red Rocks but its easy to tell that this is a confident U2.

Big fan of the Two Hearts > Twilight > Out of Control run at the end of the main set, however Bono sounds completely out of gas introducing Out of Control. Impressive that he fights through the rest of the show. Party Girl is shambolic and 11 O'Clock has a bit of fatigue to it.

Sound

Got a bit of that high-end tape hiss to it but it sounds typical of a great tape source from '83. Not a ton of wobble.
Recording: "Master Tape Transfer 2017" - 4.5 stars

Audience

They aren't the highlight of the tape. Not like the roaring crowds of some other boots - you can barely hear them, even in between songs.

Overall

Happy to give this one a listen for a round of the BRT. Not my favorite U2 show but a good one that acknowledges how hard this band worked for their reputation. Its still a mostly strong performance.
