It's a good show, but you can tell Bono's voice is pushing itself (like it always was in this era, but they're at the end of 8 straight months of touring, here).
Remarkable performance of Bad. There is one instance of Bono delivering the line "Let it go," but to the melody of the "fade away" line, which strikes me as rare. Great Candle in the Wind snippet, only the third ever. Extended ending with Edge staying strong throughout.
Great document of the night but sounds like a high-end cassette. Recording: "Analogue copy of master (1stGEN)" - 3.5 stars
Stellar crowd especially for the US. That's why I'm visiting this leg of this tour, though - to see U2's first stops in US arenas. Huge peak for them.
"40" is so great in this regard.
Probably close to as good as it gets from this leg.

The quality is one of the best audience recordings from this tour.
The only interruption is after the first "...let it go" in "Bad".
It appears that there may have been a tape flip at this point in
the show. There also seems to be a slight speed issue as everything
sounds kind of fast and Bono sounds like a 15 year old. The crowd
is very enthusiastic this night and you can tell the band is recieving
it well. Check PimmJal's notes for more interesting passages;)
Your ever-so-important fweekwensy anawasis and your choice
of 2 sets of pre-sized cover art is included.

what they said
"A man should not look like he irons his hair."
- Bono on Live Aid
did you know
The ring Bono wears on his pinky was given to him by Larry, not Ali, and it's a fish.
