Performance

My first Lovetown show I've heard. I love how they throw in some R&H gems, which really got me to like the album (R&H) more. Hearing Streets open just awesome. Also noted that Bono was having some trouble vocally, but it didn't really ruin this one.
I now like God Pt II after hearing it live. Never really gave it a good listen before, but now I like it a lot. All Along the Watchtower is a great song. Many have covered it, and U2 does a great job with it on this night. Love how the Edge plays like Hendrix. Another thing I liked was how raw AIWIS sounded. This number will grow into something superb by the end of PopMart. I like how they played a cover number, this one being "People Get Ready". Pretty cool. I like how the person from the audience played Bono's guitar so good, probably better than Bono could ever play in his life. Bad's intro is cut off, but still a good version nonetheless. Van Diemen's Land is another R&H I gained respect for. Edge sounds a bit like Keith Richards (dont ask...), kinda why I liked it. Now for the encore. I liked the guitar intro to Angel of Harlem. I found it cool that BB KIng & co. also played with U2. Probably one of the best versions I've heard of this song so far. The show closes with WOWY/ Shine Like Stars and 40. With or Without You was good, made even better with the Shine Like Stars snippet. 40 is always great, I've never heard a bad version of this song, and probably never will. A perfect example right here. A great version on this night, and a fantastic closing to a great show. Highliights for me were God Pt. II, People Get Ready, Van Diemen's Land, Angel of Harlem, and With or Without You.

Sound

I was excited that it said soundboard. Like most people, when I hear soundboard, I'm thinking it will sound great. Not the case here. I've heard better audience recordings than this

Overall

Good set, great songs, bad sound. What more could I say? I'm going off now to hear the Point Depot gigs. Perhaps they won't be muffled or sound fuzzy...
