Performance

A superb setlist and a fantastic performance from the band. They were really on top of their game during this show. Some superb performances of certain songs, Bad in particular. Incredible stuff. One of the best performances of Bad that I've heard. It could be compared to Rotterdam 10-01-1990 but I think this performance is even better than that! I really enjoyed All Along The Watchtower, I loved the Like A Hurricane snippet, it fits very well in my opinion! The Lovetown tour has the best versions of All I Want Is You and the performance at this show is no exception. Complete with a Sexual Healing snippet and Edges shimmer effect makes this one of the highlights of the show.

Very special timing for a concert in Germany, only a few weeks after the Berlin Wall fell. There's a few references to the fall of the wall in the show. In New Year's Day there's an almost Zooropa-esque speech with Bono saying "Dream up the world you want to live in".

Sound

A good quality bootleg, very enjoyable!

Recording: Audience microphone - 3.5 stars

Audience

You are noisy bastards!

The Dortmund crowd are superb.

Overall

A fantastic show. A real hidden gem. I didn't know about this before the liveshow that Cesar put on!

A must have.
