Performance

Intense. Really enjoyed every song. [Even Pride, the most overplayed live song ever.] Even from the get-go Where the Streets Have No Name and I Will Follow had gusto. I never really liked the idea of I Still Haven't Found 3rd but it works here. Mainly because of the Irish Bono banter and the enthusiastic crowd singing. MLK and The Unforgettable Fire are awesome. Bono is singing really well throughout.

Ah the mini Rattle and Hum section, God Part 2 is epic as always with a little touch of evil. Haha good stuff. It leads perfectly into with the "greed is good" phrase Desire which is performed at a neck-breaking pace. I never really enjoyed the fast versions of Desire but this one is REALLY good. Improvised lyrics and snippets make it better. Then All Along the Watchtower is also excellent. These three mesh together great. I don't even think Edge swapped guitars throughout these 3. :O

All I Want is You is a great snippet but should be played in whole. Bad however is EPIC. doesn't even have any snippets which is why i think it makes it better. Bono's concentrated 100%.

Van Diemen's Land by the Edge. Very nice and leads into Bullet the Blue Sky which starts off really strong with the Star Spangled Banner and HEAVY DRUMS. Bono explains his love for the Point Depot.

Running to Stand Still - nice version with the crowd singing every word of it! Must be heard. Don't really care for the snippet of Dirty Old Town but w.e. nice to hear.

People get Ready is really nice here! Pure fun.

LoveTown section #2. Angel of Harlem has a very fun intro with bono starting up Suspicious Minds but then hes like "no this is ANGEL OF HARLEM!" Good version but not anything extra special. When Love Comes to Town is EXCELLENT. Maybe the best version i've heard. B.B. is extra flirtatious throughout.

Love Rescue Me ends the main set. Very odd to see this in the end of the main set and not the encores but it works here, leaves room for the amazing encores.

Two Hearts...... never cared for it but its awesome here! A HEE HEE. Billie Jean snipppet isn't what I imagined but ehhh its a good version.

Pride - NOT A BORE!

40 - Nice ending to any show.

Sound

Soundboard but not like a DVD rip. I don't know its good but i always prefer official stuff. Haha I'n very picky about sound. I need to be able to mesh it with other shows and artists on iTunes or else i get annoyed. Lol Very good sound the crowd is rowdy at times but doesn't overpower the band.

Recording: "December X X V I I" - 5 stars

Audience

i need to see a show in Dublin........

Overall

Excellent. My first review and i think this will go down as one of my favorite shows ever. My other favorite is ZOO TV Stockholm. This and that are a great example of how great this band is. Download this ASAP! It is worth IT.
