Performance

So this is my first review of a show since joining U2Start in 2006. Anyway, before this was even posted at the show of the month I was just reluctant in listening to Lovetown Tour and other old ones. I first really got into U2 when I was a freshmen in high school when the Elevation tour was going on. This show blew everything I knew of U2 right out of the water!

Where The Streets Have No Name-Amazing and powerful opener!
I Will Follow-different then other tours since it felt slower to me.
Still Haven't Found(Exodus Outro)-I can't believe this clocked in at almost 7 mins. I loved Bono's intro relating to the events at that time. I also enjoyed how he reprised the first verse during the switch to Exodus.

MLK-Always beautiful, magical to hear.

The Unforgettable Fire-amazing how they pull this off. Edge is a keyboard/guitar master to play two at once.

God Part 2-haven't listened to it. I heard its a very dark and evil song.

Desire-I love the 1969 interpolation in the bridge. It sounds too much like the studio version though which is sorta a drawback.

Watchtower-Amazing segue from Desire. I love how its performed like the Dylan/Hendrix versions. That interpolation of Like A Hurricane is nice in the middle.

Bad(All I Want Is You Intro)-I like the AIWIY tease at the beginning. That Bad is incredible. I love the emotion Bono uses to sing it!

Van Diemen's Land-Short and sweet song sung by The Edge. I have a feeling this could be busted out next tour.

Bullet The Blue Sky-Loved how Edges solo was at the end rather then in the middle. Bono's words about Ireland and being at Point Depot were well-picked.

Running To Stand Still-I've always loved this song. It's different with the Dirty Old Town outro.

People Get Ready-This cover rocks so hard! I love it full-band!

Angel of Harlem-wonderful song.

When Love Comes To Town-With B.B.King I consider this one of the bands greatest songs. You get the feeling of motown with it which is barely heard nowadays in pop music.

Love Rescue Me-Another with B.B. King. Beautiful song. I take this song as the farewell to the old U2 and hello the new U2.

Two Hearts Beat As One-I liked how the chorus is performed in a different tempo then the verses. That Billie Jean tease fit the moment I guess.

Pride-Great oldie. I like how Bono says "sing this for yourselves".

40-Amazing way to end a show. I love how Bono at the end does a vocal outro with "Hallejuah" and "can you feel it".
