Performance

This is only my second review here on U2Start. I reviewed the first epic night at Point Depot so I decided to review the remaining two shows.

Bullet The Blue Sky-Pretty amazing opener!

Running To Stand Still(Dirty Old Town Outro)-nice cooldown song after the rocking Bullet. I love how the crowd ended the song by singing Dirty Old Town.

God Part 2-still haven't heard it.

Desire-sounded less studio then the last one which is an improvement. No snippets but it was pretty rocking overall.

All Along The Watchtower-Pretty neat version. Nothing too different or out of the ordinary.

All I Want Is You-Best 80's version I have heard plus its the full-song and not a mere tease! I like that Sexual Healing Interpolation in the bridge. Nice to see Edge takes a little solo at the end.

Where The Streets Have No Name-more used to this song midset then as an opener. I like the On The Road Intro since it adds to what the songs meaning that night could be.

I Will Follow-seemed slower to me with these older versions. Great song though.

Still Haven't Found-No Exodus Outro but its a fun version since Bono still repeats the first verse but ends it on the chorus which is pretty cool!

MLK-sweet and powerful little song.

One Tree Hill-the first of the rarities. No reprise outro. Seemed like it lacked something that night.

Van Diemen's Land-Every time I listen to little song by The Edge I love it even more. You get the sense that it is about the people of Ireland.

Out of Control-Matches if anything the one from Slane 2001 and Japan 2006. The second rare song of the night.

New Year's Day-classic song. Nice to see it show up at Point.

Pride-Seemed like a longer version then the night before.

She's A Mystery To Me-I have heard this song on a commercial recently. I like how Bono said it was the first time they were trying it out and he didn't want to mess up the lyrics.

Angel of Harlem-awesome full-band with the horns!

When Love Comes To Town-B.B.King and his band add so much greatness to this song!

Love Rescue Me-This is where Bono states "we have to go away for awhile and dream it all up again" That famous line still resonates through all the hearts of avid U2 fans like myself.

11 O'Clock Tick Tock-The third and final rarity of this show! Amazing version that shouldn't be missed.

With or Without You-Shine Like Stars/Love Will Tear Us Apart works great as a last song encore closer. I noticed to this was where the band finally settled upon the proper ending to the song we still see today.

Sound

Sound is great!

Audience

Crowd is minimal, which is good.

Overall

This concert has a lot more rarities that are not played much these days. The band still has a good amount of energy. Not as energetic as the first night the band was back but pick it up anyway since its a good show nevertheless.
