Comments: Live debuts of Zoo Station, The Fly, Even Better Than The Real Thing, Mysterious Ways, One, Until The End Of The World, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World, Ultra Violet, and Love Is Blindness. First time U2 covered Satellite Of Love in full, though Bono had snippeted it a few times during Bad in the 1980s. Bullet The Blue Sky and Desire are distinctly different to past live versions. The former is even more hard-rocking than it was on the Joshua Tree and Lovetown tours and features a longer solo. The latter has completely different guitar effects, and during the song, Bono plays the role of Mirrorball Man, a parody of US televangelists. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

My type of show. Ballsy and fun. Large amounts of faith in the new material, I could never have saw so many new songs going down well with an American crowd but it went so well. It's great to here ZooTV at such an early stage and trying to find its feet.
Performances were great and energetic. No opening night disasters, in fact this is probably the most impressive opening night i've heard from any tour. Every song is a hilight but special credits go to Wild Horses and Ultraviolet. Both hard songs to play I would have imagined. This is Lovetown but more fun.
Not stunning but a nice recording to my ears. Good through headphones. Doesn't sound like a master and lacks a bit of clarity. Bass in particular is a bit muddy. Some channel switching throughout. Good recording though. Recording: Audience microphone - 3.5 stars
Very good. First US show in 5 years so they were understandably upbeat. They were no doubt not too chuffed by the amount of new material but they lifted the roof for the old classics. Good job.
A great start to ZooTV. It went on to become so much more but these early gigs are effing fantastic. A must.

"They were sort of half-written, so that the odd line here or there really did make sense, then came whole sections that were just 'Bongolese', as we came to call it."

In late 2004, "Mercy", an unreleased track taken from the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb sessions, surfaced on the Internet through a fan who had been given a copy of the album containing the extra track. The track is of less than standard audio quality, but managed to become a favorite on fan websites.
