Performance

I was at this show! I can't believe that I finally found what I was looking for - a bootleg of the show. It was my second ever U2 show and it was by far THE BEST concert I have ever been to, including subsequent U2 shows! In fact, U2 for me have never been able to top this performance. Even the outside broadcast was pale in comparison.

Sound

Being an audience recording, it's obviously not perfect, but I've always much preferred audience recordings to soundboard because they sound more real. So for me, this is great, despite a little rattle and hum in the background.
Recording: "ZOO TV At The Rosemont" - 3 stars

Audience

From start to finish, U2 had everybody in the audience hooked on the new stuff. The great thing about the first leg of Zoo TV was that even the old was new - almost all of the songs were either new or new, different versions. Add the stage design and all the, at the time, unknown elements and you had a perfect concert!

Overall

Awesome. If you never saw the arean tour of zoo tv, you don't know what you're missing. These shows totally eclipse the later shows, especially Sydney.
