Performance notes: First performance of When Love Comes To Town on the Zoo TV Tour and its only appearance on the first leg. Its next appearance is over a month later in Milan. Rather surprisingly, Bono inserts a line of Van Diemen's Land into Angel Of Harlem; this is the only example of Van Diemen's Land being snippeted.

Performance

The band was all in on their performance. The first leg is rawer than later shows. No phone call, no flipping TV channels, they simply came out and played. Bono's voice is at "peak Bono", especially during Mysterious Ways and One. The high notes he hits are unlike any other show I've listened to. You get all 10 songs from Achtung Baby which was not always the case across the first two legs.

Sound

There are better audio quality shows out there, but you combine the band, the audience, and the raw energy of the band you take this from 4 to 4.5/5 stars in my book.
