The last time U2 opened a leg in Italy and ended it in Dublin? The Joshua Tree tour was the tour where this happened, and to celebrate the last month of U2's Europe leg in 2015 which also will end in Dublin we go back in time and highlight U2's show in Cork, Ireland in 1987, the last show of the Europe leg in 1987. It was Edge's birthday (which got him cake) and the last show of the leg, and it was a show in Ireland, what more can you ask for? Two songs are missing from the recording but nonetheless this is a great one to listen back to, Bono's voice is excellent and the show had some great performances such as C'Mon Everybody (the last time U2 played it live).

We encourage you to listen to this show this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  2. First Out Of Control of the tour too.
Sunday Bloody Sunday was very special, listen to Bono getting very emotional during that song.
  3. I was at this show was fantastic I remember Bono thanking Adam, Larry ,The Edge and Paul Mcguiness for making the dream come true in WOWU.............and it continues today haha
  4. Is it the complete show? Because the Mediafire links say incomplete.
  5. Unfortunately, MLK and TUF are missing from the bootleg. I tried looking for other sources, but I'm afraid that's all there is.
  6. Ah well that stinks, I'm still going to dl it anyway!

    Thanks, Cesar!
  7. That was my first U2 concert bloody excellent
  8. Thanks to angliru123 the bootlegs [mp3's] for Cork '87 have now been updated

Next to our vinyl transfer of "Cork Connection," we now also feature the bootleg "SW 51."
This is the complete show, sourced from an "unknown generation audiotape" (UAG).
I rated this one slightly higher than "Cork Connection." Not only because it's complete,
also because the transfer was done better - just my opinion, of course.
Feel free to add your review to the show page

  9. New version added: complete concert, a little bit of hiss and some distortion, but honest sound. Average show.
  10. 30 years to the day!

  11. A crying shame they couldn't make a show happen this tour especially seeing the venue has been entirely rebuilt and could host 40,000 fans. Certainly would have made up for just having one show at Croke.
