U2 did not play many shows in Belfast but the show in Queen's University in 1981 is definitely a stand-out. It has outstanding performances of An Cat Dubh and A Day Without Me, and above all - as its broadcasted on TV - it's available here as a 5-star audio recording. The audience is very well mixed into it and makes for a great sound. If you like U2's early days, or even U2 in general, this is a must-have!

Back in November me & Gerard visited this venue as part of our U2 & Belfast tour, watch it back here:

We encourage you to listen to this show this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  2. yay
  3. Beautiful guided visit to a gorgeous venue. This '81 show was one of the first video bootlegs I ever downloaded (as a very crappy AVI file I still own), it's still one of my favourite Boy shows. If someone hasn't heard/watched it, do it now - 35 anniversary soon!!

    Gerard's accent tho
