1. Hey guys, a question for you all. I like to take non-album songs, B-sides, and special recordings and make a 2-disc "Deluxe Edition" for U2 albums that haven't gotten an official one. I've come to a dilemma now though: Does Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me belong on a Zooropa Deluxe Edition or a Pop Deluxe Edition? The argument for Zooropa in my mind is that it was first written during the Zooropa sessions, and it came out before Pop did. However, it has more of the rock feel of Pop instead of Zooropa's experimental feel, and was prominently featured during Popmart. So what do you guys think? Any and all opinions are welcome.
  2. To me it belongs to Zooropa and sound is more like Achtung Baby than Pop...
  3. Really hard to say, but I think overall Pop. I do associate it with popmart so probably a little biased, but I think it shares an identity with songs like Gone and LNOE more than Zooropa songs.
  4. I agree. Besides, it was developed during Zooropa sessions. It's even faintly visible on the cover
  5. definitely Pop. doesn't fit on Zooropa
  6. I also associate it with Zooropa just because the Fly and MacPhisto are in the video
  7. But it was a live staple in the Popmart tour...
    I'm undecided.
    I know! Passengers! No? Okay!

  8. A clue...
  9. I think Passengers for sure. It's not as good as Ito Okashi imo...
  10. Zooropa. That was its era.
  11. Yes it was already on the Zooropa Cover, but that was Wake Up Dead Man as well, and I guess nobody would really consider it to Zooropa.
To me it's Pop as well, it came to lif(v)e on Popmart.
